“Shotgun” Joe Biden unveiled a plan Wednesday to address what he calls the “gun violence epidemic” in America.
At the top of the agenda is to force owners of black rifles into a double bind, that is the impossible choice between registration and confiscation.
“Biden will also institute a program to buy back weapons of war currently on our streets,” the plan reads. “This will give individuals who now possess assault weapons or high-capacity magazines two options: sell the weapons to the government, or register them under the National Firearms Act.”
The current frontrunner to win the Democratic nomination for president also wants to ban the manufacture and sale of black rifles and mags with a capacity greater than 10 rounds, institute a one-gun-per-month purchase rule, bankrupt the gun industry by terminating the Protection of Lawful Commerce in Arms Act, criminalize the sale of private transfers, weaponize the ATF and DOJ to confiscate firearms, and much, much more.

A Biden aide touted the former vice president’s record on gun control to CNN, pointing out that “SleepyCreepyJoe,” as President Trump calls him, helped to push through the Clinton-era ban on “assault weapons.”
“Joe Biden has been pushing the conversation on guns for at least the past 25 years, and he’s the only Democratic presidential candidate who on the national stage has defeated the National Rifle Association — and he’s done it twice,” said the aide, the “second time” referring to the 1993 Brady Bill.
The aide went onto say that while some of the measures could be strong-armed into law via executive action, the majority would need the support of Congress.
Biden “thinks that, from that experience and from seeing President Trump reverse some of the executive actions — especially executive action on gun violence that he worked on — that legislation [as opposed to executive action] is really, you know, the key here, to ensure we have lasting change,” explained the aide.
“Shotgun” Joe leads the field of Democratic challengers with 27 percent, according to RealClearPolitics. Though, Elizabeth Warren and Bernie Sanders are nipping at his heels, with 23 and 17 percent respectively.

So divide that by the US population that’s a cost of $238.48 per person. Okay so let’s put a number out there that would attract most gun owners 5k a gun. That’s $1,960,000,000,000. In words one trillion nine hundred sixty billion. Divide that by the 2019 us population and you get the cost per person of $5,946.98. One step further since it’s going to he tax payers footing the bill we will decide by the number of taxpayers in 2019. $13,910.57 per taxpayer. So your going to charge me $8,910.57 to turn in one gun. Think about that…

And, if state legislatures can choose to ignore federal drug laws and legalize, say, marijuana; or, refuse to enforce federal immigration laws (did some one say “sanctuary”) – they can also refuse to ignore federal gun laws. “States rights” have been a bone of contention since the founding of our country.
The only entities mentioned in the Constitution that have rights are the people. The Feds and the States have powers as do the people, respectively!
The founders recognized that to limit Federal over reach, that state rights and sovereignty would prevail within the borders of each state. Case in point-Contrast California to Missouri regarding gun rights, gun ownership, and ammo purchases.
