Biden Getting Slammed for Gun Violence Claim: 150 Million Americans Killed Since 2007

Joe Biden has lost his mind.  Watching him during Tuesday’s Democratic debate in South Carolina it became abundantly clear that “shotgun” Joe is cuckoo for Cocoa Puffs.

The 77-year-old former Vice President can’t string together a coherent sentence, and when he does say something intelligible it’s so far off base that it would be hilarious if not for the fact that it’s downright sad to see a man lose it in front of his peers on national television.

When talking about his record on gun control, while also simultaneously taking a shot at Bernie Sanders who voted for the 2005 Protection of Lawful Commerce in Arms Act, which protects the gun industry from frivolous lawsuits, Biden claimed that roughly half the U.S. population has been slain since 2007.

I “got assault weapons banned,” said Biden. “I got magazines that could not hold more than 19 rounds in them. I got them eliminated. Except we had a thing called an election with hanging chads in Florida and it was not reauthorized.

“Imagine if I stood here and said we give immunity to drug companies, we give immunity to tobacco companies,” Biden added. “That has caused carnage on our streets.”

“150 million people have been killed since 2007 when Bernie voted to exempt the gun manufacturers from liability,” Biden continued. “More than all the wars including Vietnam from that point on.”

Biden’s campaign was quick to correct the figure after the debate, telling CNN economic policy reporter Katie Lobosco that he meant to say “150,000 people killed in firearm homicides since then.”

As Alan Gottlieb of the Citizens Committee for the Right to Keep and Bear Arms noted in a press release obtained by GunsAmerica, the remark is inexcusable.

“It might be excusable if this were a one-time event,” Gottlieb observed, “but Biden has been bragging for years about his gun control record, claiming he knows this subject well enough to have defeated the gun lobby, so he ought to know the data reflexively. He just told the country that nearly half of the population has been killed by gunfire over the past 13 years. Nobody can make such a preposterous claim and get away with it.

“Biden has been in government for decades,” Gottlieb added, “and he must be familiar with the annual FBI Crime Reports and estimates from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. If Biden was Pinocchio, right now his nose would be about the size of a California Redwood.”

Biden probably was familiar with all those figures at one point in his political career.  The problem for the candidate now is that he has completely lost it.  And GunsAmerica isn’t the only publication taking note.

A quick search on Youtube pulls up a bunch of videos from a relatively forgiving mainstream media (they’d never admit that he’s mentally unhinged) that highlight gaffe after gaffe Biden’s made campaigning for president over the past year and a half:

Like a punchdrunk boxer that’s been fighting too long into the eleventh round, it’s time for Uncle Joe to throw in the towel. And if he doesn’t have the wherewithal to do it, it’s on his campaign to do it for him. It’s sad what we’re witnessing. Please, put the man outta his misery!

Maybe the Dems had it all planned. Put a guy who is losing it the White House, then come in later and replace him with a fanatical VP because the President is
“having medical issues and is unable to execute the duties of his office.”

I wonder if “Corn Pop” was among the 150 million Americans that was killed in those lethal years?

Joe Biden’s dementia is taking a turn for the worst and what should be of most concern, should he become the DNC poster child and beat Trump in the election, that he would post the launch codes on Facebook. Scary!

I really feel sorry for Biden. Joe just don’t know when to quit. I knew when he jumped into this race that he would make a complete fool of himself. He’s been gaffing since he’s been a state senator in Delaware. Now that his 77 years old the gaffes come as he stumbles for words and forgets what he’s speaking about and sometime he doesn’t know what state he’s in. I blame his wife too. I think she’s more hungry to get into the White House then he is. This man should retire and be spending time with his grand kids rather then traveling around the country acting like a old lost sole. His rally’s are in a dairy queen for gods sake. Jill should take him by the hand and both come home to Delaware and become private citizens and leave the politics to the other contenders. He’ll never become president.

150 million should come as no surprise…after all, he campaigned in all 57 states with his former boss…

Well, at least the Dummycrats are inching closer to the truth: when Terry McAuliffe ran for VA governor a couple years back, it was 93,000,000/day who were dying from “gun violence”

    Biden as Elmer
“As the T-man hauls Bugs away, Elmer turns to the camera and says “I may be a scwewy wabbit, but I’m not going to Alcatwaz!”, then dances the Bunny Hop and hops away.”

Agree completely, his ‘gaffs’ are NOT gaffs, they are from a very diminished mind.
Trump took a mental test, Biden should too, I guarantee he will fail.
And they want this guy to be POTUS?!?!?!?!?!?!!/
