Browning’s Limited Edition Buck Mark Plus Vision in .22 LR – SHOT Show 2020

This year’s limited edition Buck Mark pistols includes the Plus Vision series in blue, black, and red.

Since 1985, Browning’s Buck Mark .22 LR pistols have been produced continuously with upgrades coming along frequently. This year’s iterations vary from compact carry guns to optics-ready competition models. The most striking variants, however, are the Buck Mark Plus Vision series, in Blue, Black, or Red.

These pistols are listed as SHOT Show specials, so they will be produced in limited quantities.

The frame and barrel shroud are colored anodized with the gold-plated trigger.

The Plus Vision pistols have a colored anodized frame and barrel sleeve. The frames and barrel sleeves are all machined from a billet of aluminum. The barrel itself is steel and 5.9″ long with a removable muzzle brake. The barrel is threaded 1/2″-28 and suppressor-ready.

The gun ships with a removable muzzle brake and is threaded 1/2″-24. The TRUGLO front sight is suppressor-height. This one was hard-used at the SHOT Show Range Day.

In order to balance the extra weight of a suppressor (and to look cool), the barrel sleeve has significant cut-outs. Each color has a different design in the barrel sleeve. This is the Vision barrel system.

The cutouts in the barrel shroud help lighten the gun to balance a suppressor.

The grips are their UFX over-molded rubber with laser stippling. The front sight is a suppressor-height TRUGLO fiber optic post. The rear sight is fully adjustable with clicking detents and a white U-shaped outline. The top strap doesn’t move with the slide on the Buck Marks and this one has a 1913 Picatinny rail for mounting optics.

Controls are all located on the left side.

The Plus Vision series features the gold trigger — well, it’s an alloy that is finished in gold plate. But it’s light and crisp with a short reset. These come with two ten-round single stack magazines, and if you’ve ever been plinking with a Buck Mark, you know those run out too soon. They also come with a pistol rug.

The top strap has a Picatinny rail for optics.

Browning’s Buck Mark Plus Vision series will be available shortly and in a limited run. MSRP is $699.

The rear sight is fully adjustable with clicking detents.
