CCRKBA to Everytown: 'Texas is not for Sale'

BELLEVUE, WA – Reacting to reports that Everytown for Gun Safety, the group founded by anti-gun billionaire Michael Bloomberg, is planning to spend millions of dollars to flip the Texas Legislature, the Citizens Committee for the Right to Keep and Bear Arms warned, “The Lone Star State is not for sale, Mike.”

“He couldn’t buy his way into the White House,” said CCRKBA Chairman Alan Gottlieb, “so Michael Bloomberg’s surrogates at Everytown are trying to buy the Texas Legislature in Austin. Apparently Bloomberg has forgotten how Texans love their liberty and independence, and how they will fight to protect it.”

Published reports say Everytown’s political arm will spend at least $8 million to turn the Lone Star State blue in November. Gottlieb calls that a warning signal for grassroots Second Amendment activists across the country.

“Last month,” he recalled, “CNN reported that a ‘Bloomberg-aligned’ group was targeting 13 states to register more than 100,000 young voters in an effort to win congressional and legislative seats for anti-gunners. Texas was one of those states, so this big money effort must be taken seriously.”

Other states mentioned in the voter registration scheme were Arizona, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, Nevada, New Hampshire, North Carolina, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin,

“The Citizens Committee is calling on all grassroots activists, not just in Texas but in every other state, to organize and fight back,” Gottlieb said. “Everytown has the backing of a billionaire, but dollars don’t vote, people do.

“Last year,” he recalled, “Michael Bloomberg spent tens of millions of dollars in a failed run for the presidency, and he never got out of last place. His gun control message didn’t resonate, so instead of trying to win support, his lobbying group is now trying to buy it, one state at a time.

“It’s time to remind Bloomberg’s Everytown group that freedom and the Constitution are not for sale,” Gottlieb said.

Dude where’s my box Bloomberg flooded Oregon libs with his money 20 years ago and they have turned our state from big on guns and constitution to big on fear with the want to trade in our guns/rights for govt promised safety because the cops of course will always be there for you in the very moment when we need them. For 20 years us freedom and constitution loving individual Oregonians have been battling his money when showing up and giving public testimony to the legislators at the Oregon Capital about our need for our guns for self-defense since Oregon is 95% rural and has long wait times for law enforcement responses. And every time we show up to plead to the legislators the army that shows up to fight us there shows up in a sea of red. No individual libs show up just the MDA army and everytown of course with a big long scared speech from our Governor of Portlandia. It’s all bought and paid for opposition and every time its the same sad excuse of guns are bad and kill people and our kids are dying because of guns therefore no one needs to own guns. STAY IN NEW YORK little MIKE!! p.s. take kate brown with you.

Right across the state line in Louisiana there’s a Bunch of state politicians bought and paid for by this sawed off New Yorker. Big campaign contributions. Last state elections people door to door with get out and vote speeches and then a card how to vote. All demon rats with a NRA rating of “D orF”
Hell, The District Attorney got $200,000 for his re-election across the river. Bloomberg money.

Note the amount of women vs men in the photo. Suburban housewives in their ‘team shirts’ funded, not by themselves but a sugar daddy, trying desperately to feel like they are making a difference. Get a hobby girls.

Of course it’s mainly women. It’s ‘Moms Demand Action’. If I had a child killed by a firearm, I would want every one of them melted down to slag. Mine last. Same with baseball bats, drunk drivers, rabid coyotes.

Au contraire! Texas has already been purchased by the petrochemical industry and high rollers harvesting bux by wage theft from Indocumentados.
Every Texan of the GOPer persuasion knows who owns their politicians.
