Clay: 10 Hilarious Post-Election Musings

Authors Clay Martin Columns

The people have spoken! I don’t know about anyone else in the GunsAmerica sphere of influence, but I for one am totally motivated about the kick-in-the-teeth the electorate just gave the ruling class! I feel as though a great weight has been lifted, and our Republic will live to see another day thanks to the election of Donald J. Trump.

I have no qualms about saying in this very public forum, with my real name attached, that if Clinton had been elected president, there would have been an all-out civil war within six months time. No matter your politics, Clinton is a criminal. When the rule of law is gone, and citizens have no legitimate means to hold lawbreakers accountable, there is only one possible outcome: chaos.

No one wanted to see that less than our veterans, and I feel like I can speak for us as a collective on that. I like air conditioning and having my garbage picked up at the curb once a week. Those simple luxuries don’t exist in many parts of this world. We have seen firsthand how ugly humanity can get over the last 15 years across our various conflicts in the Middle East, and none of us wanted that here.

But another four years of unconstitutional executive orders and a corrupt Department of Justice wouldn’t have left us much choice. Like many of you, I was so relieved when I woke up Wednesday morning, I almost didn’t know what to do with myself. But as the week went on, I started musing about our post-election situation.  Below are some of my thoughts and observations:

Big Boys Don’t Cry

Watching liberal grown-ass men cry is so much fun it should be illegal. My god how I’ve reveled in this ongoing bitch fest. It has been like watching the school bully get spin kicked in the throat, but it goes on for hours and hours! For eight long years we have heard about the common good, sacrificing our convenience for Mother Earth, global warming, the benefits of open borders — and all the other hippie-dippie dogma. And as a people, we just pulled the rug out from under these collectivist fucks.

Riots

Watching the riots unfold has been something to see. Funny how there were no riots after Obama won in 2008 or 2012. So now, after years of dog piling on the police at every opportunity, all of a sudden the liberal cities need some cops to save them. I kind of wish the riot squads would just call in sick. I get an especially big chuckle out of some of the “anarchist” in the North West calling for a revolt. How, exactly, do the people that have been so opposed to gun rights plan on fighting that revolution? Bricks and bottles do okay in a place the cops are on a leash. But I double dare you to try that bullshit against people willing to shoot you. And try not to rip your skinny jeans throwing that Molotov cocktail nancy boy! Oh, sweet baby Jesus! Not a mob of effeminate, scrawny, spoiled children that cried for days after their candidate got shellacked. What a dark day for my people, we would have to draw straws for the privilege of who gets to kick your ass first.

Secession?

I hate to tell all the constitutional scholars over in Oregon this, but we already fought a war about whether you have the right to secede. Turns out you don’t, not that we would miss you. But count on this- if Oregon should somehow manage to break away from the Union, I will be the first guy lined up for cross border ops to burn all your stuff. Just like back in the good old days! Ask AQ how they liked them apples! Thanks, Oregon, for making this a game we could all participate in! I thought I was going to have to drive all the way back East if things got dicey, but you brought the party to me. That was very courteous.

Riots II

Back to the riots, I just can’t let that one go. I remember when “Occupy Wall Street” was in full effect, the thing I wanted most was for the government to just declare that a legitimate anarchy zone. I would have left my gun at home, and just waded through those weaklings with a battle ax. It’s less efficient, but I think it would have sent the message better. The only thing that keeps the weak from being slaves to the strong is civilized society. Without the protection of law and order, these people would be worm food or serfs. Protest about inequality, then get back in your Prius and drive back to the college daddy pays for. These kids are so stupid it’s scary. I hope they can all manage to overdose on Molly (MDMA for the uninitiated) before the next election.

Gun Biz

I am guessing the gun industry will be changing. We are safe for four years, maybe a bit longer depending on Supreme Court appointees. I am betting a fair number of AR-15 only companies go out of business, now that the fear buying is over. The concealed carry industry will continue to grow, and I am betting we have a big fight coming as the feds attempt to restore the rule of law. The criminals that have been operating in the open the last eight years aren’t going to go quietly, and the corrupt sections of local government are not going to like the new sheriff. On another note, tactical merchandise will likely undergo a downturn because people aren’t afraid anymore, and that usually puts a damper on tactical sales. Just like militia membership, you can watch it ebb and flow depending on which party is in power (When Dems have control, tactical and militia memberships rise and vice versa when GOP has control). But hunting and sports shooting will probably grow thanks to a drop in ammo prices (Bye, bye Barack!). I myself plan to focus on PRS, and a few NFA toys. 300 Norma, here we come!

NFA Goodies

Speaking of NFA, this is the chance to get it repealed. I hope we can keep up the political pressure to get this unconstitutional tripe finished once and for all. The nonsense that goes into SBR, AOW, SBS, etc is insane. It so easy to accidentally break the law it’s scary. I was going to put an AR foregrip on the Desert Eagle .50 last week as a joke until it was pointed out that makes it an Any Other Weapon, and a felony. It doesn’t make the gun work any better or make it more concealable, it just makes it illegal. And does anyone really think that a criminal has ever stopped sawing off his shotgun because that makes it a different class of weapon? Not a chance.

F*ck Bipartisanship

I keep hearing a bunch of trash about how Trump needs to reach across the aisle to placate the people he just monkey-stomped at the polls. Heresy! Every soldier learns early on that the best time to kick someone is when they are down. This is our chance to turn the country back into something our forefathers would recognize. Burn the regulations, shrink the government, and cut my taxes! Bomb ISIS back to the Stone Age. Or further into the Stone Age, whatever analogy works for you. And tell the Europeans to stick their well-laid socialism in their well-laid ass.

Military

The return of American military prestige. We have looked like a paper tiger for the last eight years, and that ends now. Like Superman getting his powers back, it is now imperative that we rip someone’s lungs out through their pee hole. With General Flynn at the helm, that is going to happen. I feel honestly a little bad for the banana republic that didn’t get the memo and tries to flex nuts like Obama is still running the show. There is always someone that wants a go. This part should be very entertaining.

Bye Bye Mainstream Media

This election cycle showed how outdated and out-of-touch our mainstream media is with Joe public. Only Breitbart News and a few other online sources predicted Trump would win — and win big. All the major networks were shocked to the core (probably because the candidate they were blindly cheering for lost). Having a $7 million-a-year talking head no longer matters. People want objective and accurate news. Online resources are faster, cheaper, have fewer ads, and have proven this year to be much more accurate.

Can We All Get Along?

Healing a racial divide. It is pretty insane how racial tensions have been exacerbated by the Obama administration in the last eight years to the point were you’d think we’re living in the 1960s. Only the left sees race, and they wield it like a weapon. Think back to the primary. The Democrats ran four white guys and the house of Clinton. We ran two Hispanics, an African-American, and a woman.  Now, you tell me who the party of diversity is?  The truth is we could care less about race.  We only care about results.  Same with the right wing’s embrace of Milo Yiannopoulos, who has become one of our champions. He is so out of the closet he ran the Dangerous Faggot tour this summer, and his popularity on Breitbart is off the chain. Like I said in the Army when surveyed about the end of “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell,” I don’t care who you fuck so long as you do your goddamn job!

Conclusion

Welcome back to America boys and girls, and it’s not for the weak or faint of heart. Hang on to your hats, it’s going to be a bumpy ride!

Funny how this is all turning out, right? Where’s Flynn and Milo? Where’s the ‘so much winning we’ll be sick of winning’? Oh, that’s right, you guys elected a completely incompetent, inexperienced man-child who has an aversion to the reality and a penchant for Russian piss.

  • Pete January 20, 2017, 8:29 am

I disagree with your point on secession. That it didn’t work last time it was tried doesn’t mean it’s prohibited. If the Union had meant it to be prohibited completely, they would have made it an Amendment to the Constitution. I suspect the reason they didn’t is they believed it wouldn’t be ratified.

It was always assumed form the beginning of the Republic that states had the right to leave the Union. You can find reference to this right in the Federalist Papers.

You’ve said what I’ve been thinking and laughing about ever since you could have knocked me over with a feather because of Trump’s LANDSLIDE victory — despite all the illegal voters who threw the switch for Hillary. Our Republic is once again The Land of the Free and the Home of the Brave. (LotF&HotB) Man, that would be a great T-shirt. I haven’t felt this proud of my fellow American thinkers since Ronald Reagan won.

  • loupgarous November 21, 2016, 2:25 pm

I hate to say it, because I agree with you that NFA is a thicket of largely bullshit rules that largely do not make Ameicans safer. Barack Obama is spending his lame duck period pardoning non-violent offenders of Federal gun laws, which means that even he sees that they don’t get just the bad guys. However, it the pictures of the party for the crowd he pardoned for drug possession is any indication, only the 12% of nonviolent gun law offender who look like him are going to get any slack. The past eight years have been remarkable for how much this administration has striven to protect people of one race from penalties for violating Federal law, from the New Black Panther “Let’s scare white voters with machetes” stunt and going onward for eight years.

But let’s also look at the hurdles NFA reform faces. President-elect Trump goes on and on about what nice guys those “Second Amendment” people are, but hasn’t said ‘boo’ about actually changing our gun laws for the better. We don’t even have a guarantee he won’t back track the way he did on Obamacare. Then look at your House and Senate leadership. If they were going to do something about the NFA, they’d have done it when they enjoyed more than a one vote advantage in the Senate.

Change like that requires House and Senate leaders from Speaker and Majority Leader on down to care about the NFA and its lousy risk/benefit tally – it doesn’t deter the hard core criminal class from owning illegal weapons at all, and as President Obama is saying while he lets the people who could have been his sons had he had any out of the Federal Prison System on HIS judgment of whether they belonged there, the gun laws put people in jail who don’t belong there. He just says it with potentially corrupt and racist actions, not words to that effect.

I’d be really happy to be wrong about this. I’m tired of people getting jugged for making their guns politically incorrect, in ways that don’t impact the likelihood they’ll be used in a crime. I’m really tired of gun laws that are just a weapon in class warfare – against the middle class which pays most of the country’s bills and fights most of its wars. But even under Reagan, a Democratic Congress made things worse for gun owners (with McClure/Vollmer 1986), not better. We can bug our Congressmen and Senators, and should, about repealing dumb gun laws. But don’t let’s get carried away about Trump doing anything on his own about this mess.

Clay……..you are my spirit animal. This column is so fucking funny and dead nuts accurate. “….spin kick to the throat…” Amen brother. Thanks for the laughs. What a great Monday morning pick me up. I will absolutely share this on my fbook page.

    • clay martin November 21, 2016, 11:21 am

Got your six brother. Thanks for the support!

  • Becky Yackley November 21, 2016, 12:29 am

Love this Clay, especially this part: “When the rule of law is gone, and citizens have no legitimate means to hold lawbreakers accountable…”

I think it’s part of what got people out to vote – the illegal activity Clinton(s) have been a part of, the sheer number of deaths surrounding the Clintons, the lies, the “what difference does it make” attitude… People are seeing it thanks to the reach non-traditional media has, and it seems like people are waking up!

    • Jennifer November 21, 2016, 7:32 am

I used twitter and tweeted/retweeted the most truthful articles I could find against Hillary. Personally I voted 3rd party this year and always previously voted Republican. But I personally am transgender and dont feel any support from the right no longer. Most would feel that I am more along the lines with liberals but alas only on some issues. The problem I have with Republicans is their intent on converting people to Christianity. Religion is bullshit. Christianity is bullshit, Islam is bullshit, Judiasm is bullshit, you get my drift. I pay my taxes, follow the laws and work while I goto school. I would say Im above average as far as how I treat my fellow man. But its hard to justify calling trump my president when he has the support of white nationalists and the kkk. We all immigrated as mutts. We will die as mutts. This is NOT YOUR country, if it belongs to anyone it is the Native Americans who got fucked by the white man. I am glad Missouri passed a no permit for conceal and carry. I took the class and like hunters education already knew gun safety. I choose not to be on a state wide list because personally it is not the govts business knowing what firearms I own. I stay out of trouble, I dont drink or smoke but allowing a Trump nation I have my fair share of fears from Right wing god fearing (even tho god doesnt exist) rednecks hell bent on destroying lgbt people. But guess what! I can shoot back and I will. And I dont miss either. I love your columns and read them on my way to work in the mornings. At the end of the day Im still without a president for the next 4 years and I will enjoy watching our nation step backwards with equality and watch this “ruling class” get fatter, drink more beer, and produce the worst type of music on earth, country (cuntry).

      • Manshooter December 6, 2016, 12:59 am

IF you WOULD have had a president IF Clinton was elected, then WE don’t want or need YOU on our side!
Not because of your sexual inclination, or your lack of belief in God, but because you ARE a liberal. And to MOST of us, liberals are just good for fish food!
As for religion, I disagree with ALL organized religions. ALL of them! I do however believe in God and I always have. (Long before I became a minister.) Religion is simply a way to declare war on our fellow man.
So, God fearing? Your damn right! Religion fearing? Hell no, I won’t go!

Oregon is bi-polar like the rest of the country, and the manly part of my state has entertained ideas of secession in the past. Portland calls the shots through the voting booth, but that doesn’t mean all Oregon men shave their nuts. The flavored coffee
crowd will soon find a new, oppressed sexual curiosity to champion. Meanwhile, come on out, it’s still a man’s world. I’ll take you salmon and steelhead fishing… it’s manly, smelly, bloody if you’re good/lucky, and frequently full of noise, speed, and internal combustion. And, ditto on the NFA paperwork, there’s enough tracking already, and I want to build a quiet Blackout.

  • Tom Webb November 20, 2016, 8:14 am

Good luck, “brother”. I’ll have some MK262 waiting.

I’ll be sure to not waste any of my money on your class.

  • Lou Paloma November 19, 2016, 3:57 pm

First off, I agree with you on the riots. Living in rural Oregon, I don’t understand the point. Just because your choice didn’t win the election, you think it’s proper to vacate the choice of the rest of the nation? And what was the goal of the riot? Did they think the president-elect would step down? You lost, get over it and move on to the next election. Maybe nominate someone who can win.
And then there’s the other hand: Secession:
I’m a rural upstate NY transplant to Oregon and I wouldn’t vote for it, but I think I just got my first insight into the Confederate Flag holdouts. I dare anyone to insert the name of their state into your comment: “if should somehow manage to break away from the Union, I will be the first guy lined up for cross border ops to burn all your stuff.” What would be your reaction then? Know what, I’d be first guy lined up to defend my property and waste your ass. You should remember just how many able-bodied Vets are in the state…
And remember that, in the Civil Ware, even the Union had their atrocities.

  • Lance November 19, 2016, 11:57 am

Very well put Clay! Enjoyed your article to the fullest and agree with everything you said. The hitlery losers are upset because they won’t have their babysitter anymore paying and feeding them, they’ll have to go out and find a job now! Lol! I was so damn happy when Trump won and knew that once again our great country has a chance to move forward instead of backwards like obutthead was taking us. Thanks for keeping it real Clay! Enjoyed your Desert Eagle shoot too, that was just bad ass! Keep it real!

  • Tom Horn November 19, 2016, 8:54 am

      Thank you my good man.

  • BRUCE E BRADLEY November 18, 2016, 11:20 pm

Clay – agree wholeheartedly. Seeing all of the candy-asses whining and destroying US property and impacting so many businesses and innocent bystanders made me stop to think. I think DJT needs to reinstitute the draft and these “protesters” need to be the first wave outfitted and dropped into the front lines in Mosul, Aleppo, or any one of a number of other “resort” locations and let them work off all of that anger. I’m a boomer, son of a WWII Navy vet and have the highest respect for our military, vets, LEO’s, the rule of law, the Constitution and everything that is about following the rules. Keep fighting the good fight!

  • Matt November 18, 2016, 11:10 pm

“just waded through those weaklings with a battle ax”. How American, you want to murder non violent citizens protesting something you are too stupid to understand.

You are everything that is wrong with our country today. Your fear and lack of information along with rampant stupidity has led you to declare your fellow citizens as the “other” so you can blame them and take away their humanity. You are a shameful person, I feel sorry for the people in your life. I hope you will wake up one day and realize how wrong you are about this.

    • clay martin November 19, 2016, 9:23 am

Well, if these dipshits want anarchy, that how things go. I’m not the one ” trying to end capitalism and property rights”

Why don’t you go sniff some glue and pretend Hillary won, so you feel better.

      • Matt November 22, 2016, 8:51 pm

You don’t get to kill people protesting the corrupt banking system just by claiming they all want anarchy. Any reasonable person knows that is not what all or even most of them wanted.

    • Lance November 19, 2016, 11:59 am

Matt, you’re one big ol’ candy ass aren’t you?

      • Matt November 22, 2016, 8:53 pm

Whatever you need to call me to make your world view make sense. I bet we share 99% of the same interests. Why is it that most of you just respond with childish name calling when someone doesn’t agree with you? Are you afraid to actually have an adult discussion?

        • Jonny5 December 29, 2016, 5:37 am

Matt, your breath smells of penis.

  • xardoz November 18, 2016, 2:22 pm

    Man, oh man…
So much anger. Why kill peaceful protestors (i.e. Occupy WallStreet types) just because you do not agree with them? Then you answer with “Can we all just get along”? Holly dogfish batman, Oxymoron much? Do you folks listen to yourselves?
… And the Constitution allows succession. Try reading it sometime.
Military budget is bloated from fighting multiple small wars all over the Empire. We need FEWER bases and FEWER troops fighting overseas. Are you not tired of seeing your countrymen and women coming back from overseas adventures with hideous mental and physical scars?
Articles like this just show that the “Conservative-Right” is just as angry as the “Liberal-Left”. Nobody has moral high ground anymore.

    • elgavilansegoviano November 18, 2016, 6:22 pm

……..The problem with you, the Lefty, Liberal Anarchist,…….. is that you don’t see anything wrong with Burning, Looting, and destroying Private Property, what is NOT yours, and you don’t have no problem with burning the USA flag, or ending the US Constitution as we know it, and also, you don’t seem to care, if any SOB can just come here to the USA and kill all your love ones or yourself, or if any foreign country want invade the rest of the World, and exterminate the population, and finally, you don’t care about holding a job, having a responsibility, or anything concrete!,…..all you people care about is whats in you tiny Brainwash Pea brain!

      • Matt November 18, 2016, 11:12 pm

None of what you said is true. Where do you guys come up with this garbage?

      • xardoz November 21, 2016, 10:56 am

        Lefty, nope.
You are probably more left than I am. You sound very authoritative. Me, an Anarchist? Maybe a little, as I am for individual freedom because I believe every person should have the inalienable right to control their own lives (as long as they do not hurt or interfere with others).
So yes, I do see that looting and causing damage to anther’s property is wrong – downright stupid. I hold a job, have for most of my adult life – and when I did not have a job, nobody gave me sh*t to get through it. Don’t judge a book by it’s cover. You have no idea who I am.
elgavilansegoviano, it seems you like to spew venom. Try being positive. You just re-enforced my point. Sure there are assholes out there, but why lower yourself to their level? By the way…. Learn how to write, that is a HUGE run-on sentence (in other words, try to post like you know your 3-r’s)
In closing, Your post is what is wrong with this country. You cannot openly debate without attacking someone. Put some facts down and make a case. Quit with the straw-man arguments and the ad hominen attacks. As Abe Lincoln said, “You cannot make a small man big, by making a big man small.” Also, stick to the point. Just because someone has different beliefs or skin color than you, does not make them bad.

        • Matt November 22, 2016, 8:54 pm

          Bingo.

        • Manshooter December 6, 2016, 1:17 am

You hold our biggest war criminal up as an example,(Lincoln) and you wish us to believe anything you say?
You say because you do not agree with my views that I believe You are bad?
Of course I do! I believe in freedom! All of it. IF you do not agree with MY views then yes Sir, I DO believe you are bad. In every way. Mostly though, I believe you are bad for MY country!
If you can not understand that, then maybe YOU should give up your job at the grammar police and find a new job in Canada like your kind promised to do! WE won’t miss ANY of you at all in MY country sir, not at all.

It’s not about having “moral highground.” It’s about preserving our freedoms and destroying those who threaten them.

The author never said he would kill anyone just because they disagree with him. And referring to them as “peaceful” protesters shows your ignorance.
The military is currently a voluntary organization. It’s not perfect and it’s easy to criticise but ultimately they are keeping our enemies on the run by taking the fight to them.

Part of the problem is liberals have made our nation weak by sending the messages of entitlement and doubt for our cause of freedom. So when soldiers witness the horrors of war they question if they are doing the right thing and their sacrifices are subject to ridicule and mixed messages. This results in “mental scars.”

And btw as an Idaho resident I’m ready to liberate those parts of Oregon that support oppression and socialism. Count me in!

They stopped being peaceful protesters when they destroyed and burned other people’s property. And in most of this country that made them valid targets for justifiable homicide, because someone directing that level of violence toward someone’s property cannot be relied on to restrain himself from hurting other people. Violence is violence, and once you cross the threshhold, you invite it on yourself.

  • Phil November 18, 2016, 1:36 pm

You’re all completely insane and delusional.

    • Alan November 18, 2016, 3:30 pm

      Really Phil?!
So, what “sane” about socialism? It hasn’t worked in any country yet, sure they get by some of the time, but many are near economic collapse due to it.
What is “sane” about open borders, and running a Country into the dirt?
Under Obama, the rate of growth has declined and the average American’s income fallen, and yet we want MORE uneducated (the majority are) workers on the public dole because they can’t make enough money to feed their family, yet we still must school their children and all the while, they don’t assimilate.
What’s sane about funding power that is Enviro sound, and VERY economically foolish?
As to delusional, Einstein stated that the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again, and expecting different results.
The Demmies have waged war on poverty unsuccessfully for over 50 years, yet they bring in more impoverished and uneducated, unskilled people to the detriment of not only their own citizen, but that citizens children.
Based on your pic, that’s YOUR future!
      That’s insane Phil.
Look in the mirror Phil. That’s delusional looking back at you.
If you believe that the Feds have your best interests in mind, you’re delusional.
If you think helping all those unskilled immigrants will make us better, you’re delusional.
If you believe that that there’s an endless pot of money to give out to those who do not pay taxes and add to the overall infrastructure of our Country, that’s delusional.
Honestly Phil, what experience in life and humanity do you bring to the table to tell us who is insane and who is delusional?
By all means, tell us and show us your credentials.

Phil, go to bed son it’s way past your bed time!
Tell your dad not to let you play on his computer any more, that this site is for adults!

Time to grab America by the pussy and make this bitch great again

    • clay martin November 19, 2016, 9:24 am

      now we are talking!

“Supposedly not protecting emails that just might have secret information is most certainly a crime. Definitely being caught bragging about, and being charged multiple times of sexual misconduct or rape, totally acceptable and normal non-criminal behavior.”

  • Les November 18, 2016, 12:30 pm

Your bombastic declaration about secession is inaccurate. That issue was not settled constitutionally but by the overwhelming force of arms by the federal government. Likewise, the notion that our military is OK with sodomites in the ranks is hideous. No nation can succeed when the most basic moral foundation is broken down. It is a moral issue and sodomites (AKA “gays” LGTB, etc) are morally corrupt. You cannot have unit cohesion with transgender “men” in real warfare. Trying to remake nature and making women into men is also a ridiculous experiment. The military is no place for this political correctness. Anyone with any common sense (and without fear of political opinion) understands that the gore and brutality of combat is no place for the “gender neutral” agenda.

  • Chris Mallory November 18, 2016, 12:18 pm

Stomping some little banana republic is globalism pure and simple. Bring our troops home and start minding our own business. I thought we got rid of the Clay Martin types when Trump crushed the NeoCons, but it looks like he is still hanging around.

    • clay martin November 19, 2016, 9:25 am

yep, going to be here a long while. Better look at the scoreboard. General Flynn is most certainly one of my kind.

  • Krazyntx November 18, 2016, 12:15 pm

I had to read your post twice just to make sure I didn’t miss anything to chuckle about. Yes your language was a bit coarse but then it seems like you had been holding stuff in for far too long (at least in written form). I’m not offended by your words and perhaps those that are should just read something else just like changing the channel on TV if you don’t like a particular program. At least that is still your right now that communism has taken a big step backwards in the USA.

I agree completely about not negotiating with the terrorists and liberals to give up position, meet their demands, welcome them into the Trump cabinet, or any other insane BS which they seem to think now that they should be considered for.

Thanks for mentioning MILO as that guy became another secret weapon in winning back the White House. I could care less that he is gay or that anyone else is either. I follow him closely on Facebook just to see what he has uncovered now! He certainly pulls no punches!

  • Cool ern November 18, 2016, 11:04 am

I’m all for 2nd admendment rights but the rest of your spiel is nonsense to any thinking person. We can have political differences without a break down of common decency. Trump used every despicable thing he could do to win. It’s unacceptable for a man of his character to be president…..

    • Owen November 18, 2016, 12:22 pm

The character topic was ruined when Clinton was elected back in ’92. I was amused when Trump opponents brought it up like it was something new and exciting.

    • Alan November 18, 2016, 12:24 pm

You claim is Moot in light of most past elections, especially in light of our current POTUS.
Have you EVER examined the distant past elections? many of them were very nasty.
And “common decency”?!? Please, get real, and get a set.
What’s decent about power mongers trying to rule over the people, to take their money for those who will not earn it, to take their Natural Right to defense, to take their land for their benefit, to take your religious beliefs and belittle them, to take your money for schools and then indoctrinate your Children against your wishes and beliefs???
In case you’ve been asleep, these people DON’T want to be decent to you, they want power over you.
Have you really been believing the crap they’ve been feeding you, when their actions speak to the opposite?
Sorry, this IS the namby pamby attitude that got us here in the first place.
TYRANTS don’t care about “common decency”, they aren’t decent to begin with.

      • Cool ern November 18, 2016, 1:36 pm

I’m think the problem with this is where does it end when the dems are running Lebron and Opra….???? Nobody wants that

    • loupgarous November 21, 2016, 2:42 pm

More acceptable to have him, than an evil, corrupt, enabling misogynist like Hillary Clinton who protected her slimy husband (who did more than talk about wanting to grab pussies, he DID it!0/

  • VAmtn Man November 18, 2016, 10:26 am

Actually, secession was allowed under the constitution until the passage of the 14th amendment. Interesting that the southern states were not allowed back into the union (despite union claim they never left) until after the amendment was passed. Also very interesting that 14A required states to remove secession clause from their state constitutions. This proves that they did in fact have that right. Ya really gotta dig for this stuff. The reconstructionist puritan northerners ( vs. cavalier southerners) got to write the history. “Deo Vindice”

    • Grant November 18, 2016, 11:10 am

It’s also very important to know that this nation is set up to be 50 separate countries that started a governing body for common defense and to settle disputes between states, there are several other good reasons to have a federal government. But with out the threat of secession the federal government has no reason to care what the states want, only what they want, for the states are now slaves to the federal government with no freedom of choice, just like there respective peoples.

  • Joe Smith November 18, 2016, 10:26 am

I wont feel comfortable till Dec 20, after the electoral college vote. i dont know if anyone has been watching the vote count and how mysteriously all the votes are coming in for hitlery. Or how she might try to overthrow the electoral vote. I hope I am wrong, but its not over till its over. Lets hope we still live in a democracy…God bless America

    • Grant November 18, 2016, 11:12 am

We have never been a democracy, that’s why we have electoral college representatives casting our votes for us. We’re a representative republic.

  • William Merry November 18, 2016, 10:20 am

I usually don’t read more than the first three lines of any article, just enough to see if it is interesting or someone putting together the PC words to complete a thought.

When I started reading this article, I couldn’t put it down. It was like someone was channeling my thoughts but said it in a way I can never put into words. And the phrase “monkey-stomped” – I laughed until tears came to my eyes.

One thing I will never be able to understand. The rioters want to pick a fight with the same people that just voted for the 2nd amendment, own most of the guns in this country and suffered through the last eight years of an administration that made every attempt to implement socialism/communism.

Thanks for the breath of fresh air. Knowing there are still likeminded people out there makes my day.

  • Bob November 18, 2016, 10:18 am

I guess no one could find an American singer for the video.

  • john roark November 18, 2016, 10:04 am

Oregon has 36 counties, the large majority of which vote red every election. Unfortunately, rural Oregon is outvoted every time by the liberal talking monkeys in Portland and Salem. Before you come to burn our stuff, you should take this into account. Otherwise you’re liable to encounter a lot of pissed-off farmers and country boys armed with AR-15s and hunting rifles.

    • clay martin November 18, 2016, 11:00 am

Valid point. Don’t worry, you guys can join Idaho. Then we can help you “liberate” Portland.

      • Matt November 18, 2016, 11:18 pm

You are wildly ignorant of the same constitution you seem to revel in. When did you drop out of high school?

    • Johnh November 18, 2016, 11:29 am

We have the same problem In Colorado. Most of the front range votes democrat. The rest of the state except two or three counties vote republican. We have too many from California here. We used to be a red state.

      • John Watson November 19, 2016, 10:02 am

Believe it or not, Kalifornia is the same way. The bone head liberal coast watchers that are packed in like sardines out vote us in the country side. At one time we too were a red state. I still voted no matter what. Thank GOD that Trump won. I can’t imagine the carnage that hilda-beast would have inflicted. She’s as crazy as a bed bug in a sh!t house.

  • Alan November 18, 2016, 9:29 am

Well, the first thing to do is to make sure that a State CAN secede.
BTW, I find your grasp of TRUE Constitutional Law a little weak, since the premise of a State seceding is one of the elements to control the Feds. Yours, the SCOTUS and other opinions notwithstanding.
It was NEVER supposed to be the other way around.
After all, not being able to secede makes the “United” States a sham. Not to mention States rights.
Spot on the other comments, ESPECIALLY the Bipartisanship part.
Lefty Liberals have NO convictions except to rule over others, and make them live in a manner they approve, why in hell would anyone want to work with those kind of assholes?!?

  • GunFlint1 November 18, 2016, 8:39 am

The irony….Police protects protestors ? Really ? ..Those same protesters that most likely supported the murdering of Police….
    Now who’s the dummy ?

  • Joe November 18, 2016, 8:35 am

Yeah, funny thing – Lincoln was the original crony capitalist President and killed a million people for his bankers. No state would have voluntarily joined a union you can\’t leave without having your residents slaughtered and cities burned.Further, why the hell would you not let them leave? Bye bye California – and take the Democratic party with you. I would be renamed North Mexico in no time.

    • Mark November 19, 2016, 9:33 pm

If California secedes, Trump (nor I) would invade like Lincoln did. Actually, a war doesn’t decide whether secession is constitutional. The Constitution does. Read Bledsoe’s, “Is Secession Treason.” Bledsoe wrote the defense for Jefferson Davis who was held in solitary confinement without a trail for over a year while Yankee lawyers attempted to find a way to convict him. Bledsoe’s work is so steeped in Constitutional law that the Yankee legal system gave up and Davis never went to trial. Another piece of history that never reach the classroom of our progressive revisionist schools. Jefferson’s and Madison’s work in the Virginia and Kentucky Resolutions of 1798 and 1799 clarified this in their acts of state interposition and later nullification, followed by secession as a last resort.

  • Wm Hogsten November 18, 2016, 8:32 am

Great article. I just hate it that you “Candy Coated” it. You really need to tell it like it truly is. LOL.

    • clay martin November 18, 2016, 11:01 am

I’ll work on my delivery, see if Guns America will let me do a gritty reboot 🙂

      • Matt November 18, 2016, 11:19 pm

I’m shocked that you were allowed to post your hate speech here. Shocked.

        • Chuck November 19, 2016, 9:07 am

Matt….if you don’t like it, don’t read it, simple as that. I, too, am tired of all the candy-assed posters such as you. This country was founded by real men who did the needful to ensure our freedoms (yes, even yours candy ass) That you do not agree means nothing to me. Clay hit the nail on the head!!!! Well said Clay. I, and millions more like me, are sick and tired of being sick and tired, and will not tolerate candy asses anymore. Snowflakes, buttercups, candy asses, unicorn huggers and progressive liberals had best hibernate. Thanks Clay for saying what I think too………

          • Matt November 22, 2016, 8:58 pm

Same lame comeback as the other guy above. Since I disagree with you I have to be a candy ass. Grow up and learn some civics. You can’t just try to turn everything into a tough guy contest, play that game long enough and everyone loses.

        • clay martin November 19, 2016, 9:27 am

          lmao

  • Mike November 18, 2016, 7:50 am

Bipartisanship? Sure. Just like Reid and Pelosi practiced it when they had the house and senate. What hypocrites! What nerve to even bring it up!

  • Wedcoord November 18, 2016, 7:23 am

I agree with all you said about Trump. The only thing I object to is your language and the use of God’s name in vain. You can write and express your opinion without the use foul language. I’m not offended in the true sense of the word, just a thought. Thanks.

    • Arnold November 18, 2016, 8:19 am

Wedcoord Sir…… I hear your mother calling!!! She wants to sweater you up because she thinks your are cold. Have her put some grease on that chapped ass too…. Sweet baby Jesus is right!

      • Bryan November 18, 2016, 11:44 am

Arnold….You seriously have a problem with someone that doesn’t like the lords name being taken in vain? You little boy, sure sound like a liberal tree hugging democrat to me! And I definitely hear your mother Hillary calling. So why don’t you go back to sucking on Hillary’s tits you atheists piece of crap!

        • Arnold November 18, 2016, 2:04 pm

Oh my Lord! More grease!!!!…… Now U funny tooo li’l “b” and ahhh “hundred eye-rolls”….

    • Josh November 18, 2016, 9:47 am

I’m with you on sparing the Lord’s name in vain. Certainly not judging; I’ve done it and it is your right as an American. It’s just unbecoming and detracts from your point. Somebody better get me a sweater and butt paste too I guess.

    • Joe November 18, 2016, 11:41 am

Yup add me to the chapped ass brigade then. Your article, your preference on how you want to write it. I read the article and enjoyed it…. just not the part taking the Lord’s name in vain.

    • Matt November 18, 2016, 11:21 pm

You don’t care that he said he wanted to murder American citizens protesting the corrupt banks, but you have a problem with him taking your god’s name in vain? Really?

  • BOhio November 18, 2016, 6:28 am

The election result was GREAT for the USA in the view of non-liberals. However, the fight is ongoing, especially at the state level. We fled the not-so-golden state of Kalifornia, on purpose, before they put up a fence around the border — not to keep illegals out, but to keep taxpayers IN!! Kalifornia has just passed hideous additional “gun control” legislation, including requiring ammunition to be registered. The war on law-abiding citizens in Kalifornia continues unabated — because criminals don’t give a sh*t about the law. The liberal douchebag Gavin Newsom has big political ASSpirations, and he’s trying to make his government mafia bones by killing the shooting sports in Kalifornia.

Liberals don’t really believe in the 1st Amendment, because they HATE differing opinions. What they want is for everybody to look different (celebrate “diversity”? how about celebrate “achievement” or “freedom” or “personal responsibility”!!!) but act the same. Which is why they HATE the 2nd Amendment.

Fight the good fight, and be ever vigilant. Molon Labe.

    • clay martin November 18, 2016, 11:02 am

Couldn’t agree more. I think we should let California go. Maybe the can convince New York to go too.

      • Matt November 19, 2016, 11:29 am

California is the world’s 6th largest economy. Losing California would plunge us into the deepest depression we’ve ever seen. Facts don’t seem to matter to you, only your little feelings of hatred for your fellow Americans. If you really served, I thank you for your service. You have dishonored that service and have broken the oath you took. I’m ashamed for you.

        • Lee November 20, 2016, 9:21 pm

Matt, go the F back to the basement, your mommy will be along shortly to tuck you in. Your internet time is over… Stop trolling every post Clay makes.

          • Matt November 22, 2016, 9:06 pm

Another nonsense response laced with tired insults. You really convinced me of your position there, bub. You don’t know anything about my life, how hard I’ve worked, where I’ve been or what I’ve done. But since I disagree with you and your delusions, I have to be unemployed and living in my Mom’s basement. I hear this same line from people like you all the time. You NEVER offer a real response, just a blast of childish insults. Facts that don’t align with your narrative scare you, so you attack the messenger. Regardless of how dumb California’s gun laws are, we can’t just dump the state. You need to try and convince people to join your position, not insult anyone who disagrees with you. That’s American. You never seem to grasp that.

    • CGA November 18, 2016, 1:59 pm

Don’t put all of us Californians in the basket. There are a lot of us that don’t think the way the jerks along the coast do. Maybe if they get some good justices on the SCOTUS we can get these assinine gun laws here removed. Maybe we could just throw away the coastal areas (San Fransicko, Lost Angeles, San diego, Mendocino, etc.). Wish I could move to another state for now.

      • clay martin November 22, 2016, 1:43 am

Agreed, I love Northern California. Maybe you guys can join Nevada, since it is purple, and balance things back out to red.

  • Chris November 18, 2016, 5:52 am

Love, Love, Love this article. The Libtards are weak, ignorant, and need to be pushed out of this country. They should not be underestimated in their cunning, but have to be stopped at all turns and facets. Like Mr. Clay said: “I was so relieved when I woke up Wednesday morning, I almost didn’t know what to do with myself.”
Both of the Clintons are Pure, Undiluted Evil. They are heinous examples of the human race.

  • Scott Gunnell November 18, 2016, 4:53 am

I whole heartedly agree with most of what you said.

Mainstream media was basically a 24-hour ad for Hillary, never seen media bias to that level in my lifetime. It was a joke. And in my opinion, they are responsible for the panic of these rioters who believed all the demonizing of Trump instead of thinking for themselves.

These people “protesting” thinking they are making a difference is laughable. Research revealed half of them didn’t even vote!! And what exactly are they wanting to accomplish? Only thing they have accomplished so far is to hurt their own party by acting like brainwashed, uncivilized idiots.

And you nailed the one topic that has disgusted me (and a hell of a lot of others) more than anything else. The use of racism as the go to weapon for ANYTHING and EVERYTHING. They are turning any comment, any action and any opinion into a racial issue. Don’t like Obama? Your racist. Trump gets elected? Half the country is racist…it’s insane. Don’t know if the people playing the race card actually believe the crap they are saying or if they just know by now that most will pander them once the card is played. Either way Obama, BLM and media has what once was an overall pretty good race relations and turned it into a divisive country that I have not seen in my lifetime.

Lastly, guns and the NFA. Hopefully the smaller businesses can weather the possible losses short term and benefit long term since they can still produce the products. If Hillary was elected they would all be out of business anyway, so this was the better outcome. And yes, the NFA is RIDICULOUS! In my opinion, it is there only to grant the government more power, tax the people and require a long process to hopefully discourage buyers….and yes I believe to track gun owners. I can’t bring myself to believe that the government doesn’t have a database with every NFA owner even though it’s illegal.

And watching the aftermath, I also can’t help immensely enjoying watching the liberals throwing tantrums. The double standards are amazing!

  • Robert Smith November 17, 2016, 4:59 pm

Well said. The only thing I’d differ with is the legislative priority. Repealing NFA would indeed delight us Red State gun freaks, (as well as making the Bloomberg/Soros gun control cabal wet their collective pants.) But it’s just not the highest and best use of Trumps political capital on the gun issue. 50-state reciprocity on CCW should be the first priority. Why? Because if it were done right, it could restore gun ownership and carry rights to residents of the most restrictive may-issue states, CA, NY, NJ, MA, DC and a few others. That’s 80 million potential new gun owners, firearms enthusiasts and NRA members. It would ensconce American gun culture so deeply it could never be threatened again.

    • clay martin November 18, 2016, 11:04 am

that is a really good point. its easy for me to forget CCW, I live in a state you don’t even need a license in.

  • DRAINO November 17, 2016, 10:48 am

As I sit here with a tear of joy and pride running down my cheek, I don’t know whether to shout AMEN! or Clay for PREZ!!! LOL!!! You said quite the mouthful, Clay….and you said it well. My next bumper sticker is going to say:
    Americanism – NOT Globalism!!!
I believe the globalists will crawl out of the woodwork even more now and start screaming for the New World Order again. This election hopefully also kicked Agenda 21 in the nuts and set it back on its heels. Unfortunately it won’t be gone till we are out of the UN’s pocket.
We definitely need to get back to our traditional America again. I think we are moving the right direction now. Good article.

    • clay martin November 22, 2016, 1:45 am

thanks brother. Its a great day to be an American, but you are right we have to keep fighting! Out of the UN! Fuck those ungrateful bastards, and I am tired of my tax dollars paying for it
