During Arrest, Actor Shia LaBeouf Tells Officer: ‘If I had my gun, I’d blow your sh*t up’

Shia LaBeouf was arrested last week. The 31-year-old actor threatened a police officer, saying, “If I had my gun, I’d blow your sh*t up.”

Police footage showing the arrest of Shia LaBeouf last week does not put the actor in the best light, to say the least.

The 31-year-old was arrested on the streets of downtown Savannah, Georgia, around 4 a.m., last Saturday for obstruction, disorderly conduct, and public drunkenness, reports WSAV.

According to the Savannah-Chatham Metropolitan Police report, it all started over a cigarette. LaBeouf was allegedly searching for a smoke after a night of boozing.  He asked a bystander for a cig, who told him, “No,” and then proceeded to ask a police officer who also turned down his request. That’s when the actor wigged out.

“What f*ckin badge are you wearing?” said LaBeouf to the officer.

When the officer told him that he was, indeed, a police officer and that the young thespian should leave the area because there were children present and he was using profanity, LaBeouf refused and continued to rant.

“F*ck you, you ain’t sh*t,” said LaBeouf, according to the officer’s retelling of the encounter.  “F*ck you b*tch I pay you, you sorry mutha f*cker.”

The officer said LaBeouf began acting in an aggressive manner, so he phoned for backup and attempted to place the movie star under arrest.  But LaBeouf fled the scene to his hotel.

Police followed the actor into the hotel and apprehended him. At this point, LaBeouf really started to lose it.

“What did I do sir?” LaBeouf shouted in the hotel lobby. When asked why he was shouting, LaBeouf replied, “Because I have rights! I have rights, I’m an American!”

On the way to the jail, LaBeouf continued to lash out against the officer, calling him a “stupid b*tch,” while also threatening him. “If I had my gun, I’d blow your sh*t up,” he said.

Things got even weirder.  At the station, in the pre-booking area, another officer said that LaBeouf was attempting to go for his gun and also kissed his hand.  That’s right, he kissed his hand.

“Mr. Labeouf then began reaching on my gun belt and began pulling on my radio, while he was stating that he was grabbing my gun,” wrote the officer in his report.

“I advised Mr. Labeouf that he was in fact grabbing my radio and not my firearm,” the officer continued. “My hand was placed on Mr. Labeouf’s right shoulder in a [sic] attempt to maintain control of him, it was at this point in time that Mr. Labeouf leaned over and kissed my hand.”

After a brief stint in the jailhouse, the disgruntled LaBeouf was eventually released. He forked over $3,500 to cover a bond for obstruction.

LaBeouf is filming a movie titled, “The Peanut Butter Falcon,” an adventure story about a Down Syndrome kid that wants to become a professional wrestler, in Savannah.  He was reported to be back on set this week.

If there is anything to learn from LaBeouf’s arrest it’s how NOT to interact with law enforcement.  Whether you’re enjoying a night out on the town or just going about your normal business with your sidearm, always treat police officers kindly and with respect — even if you believe they are in the wrong.  If there is a problem, the place to solve it is in the courtroom, not on the street, in the police cruiser or at the jailhouse.

Also, never — even in jest — go for a cop’s gun.  That can get you killed.  And, for the love of God, don’t kiss the officer’s hand.  That’s just downright weird and creepy.

The officer told him to tone his language down because there were children present? And then used that as the basis to arrest him for disorderly conduct? It was 4 am. What children were out by the bars at 4 am? Sounds like police BS to me. Why weren’t the police doing anything about children out at 4 am near the bars?

30 years ago these cops would have been playing a drum solo on this assholes head.

This guy better learn that the rest of the country is NOT Hollywood and doesn’t give a crap who you are. Ask O.J. about breaking the law in Nevada. A shame he didn’t “fall up some stairs” while he was in custody, maybe he would have learned something.

Take any firearms from his possession and keep him from owning any weapons in the future… drunk or not, this guy’s out of control and it’s obvious that he has no respect for the law or law enforcement.

The overwhelming majority of Police officers will react the same way as this officer. It seems that if you don’t bitch-slap these assholes after their first aggressive action, they tend to kick it up a notch. Then they wonder why they were body slammed.

People say the darndest things when they are under the influence of alcohol. Some folks say the alcohol lowers their inhibition enough to say something they have been wanting to say, anyway, implying its some kind of truth serum, but I think that people that are as intoxicated as our actor friend Shia, talk shit and it is just meaningless shit. I dont think the arresting officers hold anything Shia said, personal. I think they hear that same shit all the time and just understand that this goes with the territory of being a police officer.

That poor excuse for a human being is such a loser. He is a shitty actor and whatever he does is just garbage. He really needs to just turn his gun on himself and do the world a favor!

    • meeester July 14, 2017, 9:41 pm

now wouldn’t you fell just awful if he went and did such a thing? …..hehe. . me neither

Gosh, how I keep praying for the right person to encounter this little turd of misery, wrap a hand around his scrawny neck, lift him up off the ground & bitch slap him into next week, all the while telling him what a piece of grunt he is before setting him back down & telling him “Now, have a nice day.” & walking away!

    • Ej July 14, 2017, 6:00 pm

It would be better if someone grabbed him by the neck and said “Bumble-bee isn’t here to save you now dick” and then proceeded to beat him like a hitler piñata.

  • Kyle July 14, 2017, 10:23 am

Oh, yes, the real reason Hollywood wants to ban guns.
THEY know how THEY’D act if they had a gun. And they presuppose that everyone one else is as unhinged as they are.

Many years ago I had a liberal, anti-firearm sister (lucky me?).
When finally asked why she wouldn’t have a firearm in the house, she told me that she would use it if she became angry enough.

  • Norm Fishler July 14, 2017, 10:19 am

I think a good place to start with Mr. Labeouf would be a good 20 minute beating with a rubber hose. Nothing else seems to have worked.

  • Jpw July 14, 2017, 9:50 am

And if the exact same scenario had taken place with a black man, he would have been beaten senseless and found guilty with a multitude of charges and sentenced to a year in jail. With Shia’s record, he should have been sentenced to a jail term at least and made mandatory to attend Alcoholics Anonymous for a year. Shia gets arrested two or three times a year for the same offense.

Terroristic threats. Charge him and if he a permit revoke it.

  • Jack July 14, 2017, 7:46 am

What is it with these Hollyweird types? As soon as they make a movie they turn into assholes/ communists and believe they should be running everybody else’s lives. Oh well, this is one more I scratch off my actor list……..my list is getting pretty short.

  • Lloyd Dumas July 14, 2017, 6:05 am

Seems to me they should not followed the guy home and just left him to sleep it off.

    • Cyrus July 14, 2017, 8:08 am

. . . so your saying he should be able to do whatever he wants when he is impaired and then afterward just go to sleep until he comes out of his stupor – right? I note your last name is Dumbass!

      • Mike Wood July 14, 2017, 1:48 pm

        Bet he gets that….a lot!

    • Lee Elliott July 14, 2017, 12:16 pm

Your last name fits you very well!

  • mh46 July 14, 2017, 5:45 am

These Savannah cops sure had a lot of patience. Labeef [sic] sure is a noisy drunk. He needs to go on the wagon, permanently, or he may get in trouble one of these days.

  • bill July 14, 2017, 5:02 am

These Hollyweird types act like everyone else is racist except for them, then says ” You a rest a whiteman?” I used to live in L.A. it’s the home of the phonies. Not all, just most. No more cocaine for you….bitch.

    • Rattlerjake July 14, 2017, 5:52 am

Maybe we will get lucky and he will ‘accidentally” hang himself in his cell!
