Fred Eichler’s Rock River LAR-15: Perfect Lightweight AR for Predators — SHOT Show 2018

Rock River Arms has teamed with Fred Eichler for new Fred Eichler Signature Series Predator rifles. These guns are designed from the ground up with the hunter in mind, and mostly that means weight savings. The barrels are fluted, and the handguards are carbon fiber. The rifle weighs in at only 6.9 pounds.

  • Caliber: 5.56/.223
  • Lower Receiver: Forged RRA LAR-15
  • Barrel: 16-in. 1:8-in. twist
  • Muzzle: RRA Fred Eichler Series
  • Gas Block: Low-profile
  • Trigger: RRA Chrome, two-stage
  • Charging Handle: BCM Gunfighter Medium Latch
  • Handguard: RRA FES carbon-fiber free-floated
  • Pistol Grip: Hogue
  • Weight: 6.9 lbs.
  • Lenght: 33.5 in.
  • 1 MOA at 100 yds. Guarantee
  • MSRP: $1,800

Also unique to this rifle, a new muzzle brake. This brake is promised to pull the gun down and forward, negating the effects of recoil. The trigger guard is oversized, to accommodate gloved hands on winter days. Out of the box, this rifle comes with a 6 position collapsible stock, designed to fit any size hunter. The trigger is a two-stage match, which is a great help on difficult shots.

Go ahead and buy one, then when you need a part, RRA will tell you, NO, buy another complete upper or lower to get the one part you need. Crappy company !!!!!

The device on the end of the barrel is a muzzle BRAKE, not a break. Spelling does matter.

Don’t need 400.00 dollar barrel and 200.00 trigger to make AR shoot 1/2 in at 100 yds polish your own trigger don’t get me wrong it’s a nice gun and have nothing against Fred just little high priced for some people

1800.00 Don’t think so you can build one for a 1/3 of that easy as Legos
