Full Conceal VIPER: The Unofficial Space Force Collapsible Carry Gun – SHOT Show 2019

Riley Baxter SHOT Show 2019

Full Conceal released a collaboration with CAA which they are dubbing the VIPER. This is a chassis system that fits Full Conceal’s M3D ( a folding Glock 19) and it is similar to the Micro-Roni Stabilizer. However, the VIPER is specifically designed for the M3D and an extended magazine.

The VIPER is perfect for someone who carries a briefcase, backpack or purse and wants to be able to pack a large amount of firepower that is quick to deploy. Paired with the M3D, the VIPER is able to fold down into a small package and carry an excess of ammo. Folded, it takes up the same area as a MacBook Pro.

Shown with a 33-round Glock magazine and attachments, the Full Conceal VIPER packs a ton of firepower. The raw aluminum part will be black anodized in the final version.

Lately, Full Conceal has caught a lot of heat from the internet which will more than likely flare back up in the comments section. Please don’t be “That Guy.” That said, I want to further discuss the VIPER system: it is more than likely called the VIPER due to the fangs that hang off of the front. This is not purely cosmetic. This attachment on the chassis is actually a heel to retain an extended mag.

Also, the Picatinny rail on the top is extra long to allow for multiple attachments or optics. There are many other aftermarket features that can be installed on the VIPER including an under barrel flashlight (CAA’s flashlight), spare mag holder, viper teeth, optics and more.

One push of a button and you can remove or insert your gun.

The VIPER is mostly polymer with some aluminum parts, so it is very lightweight. Possibly the best thing in my mind about the VIPER system is the fact that the M3D’s folding safety mechanism is working when it is in its most compact form. This means that you can have a round in the chamber with 100% confidence that the firearm is still safe. Installing a handgun into the VIPER is incredibly simple: you just press a button, open the latch on the bottom, put the pistol in place and close the latch. I cannot emphasize how easy this process is.

Folded, the VIPER is absolutely tiny. Cerakote work done by Redemption Rising, with “Property of the US space force.”

Features:

  • The standard viper includes: viper shell, M3D pistol, Magpul 21-Round magazine
  • Right folding long stabilizing brace
  • Easy to install a handgun
  • Right and left Picatinny rails for extra attachments.
  • Ambidextrous reciprocating charging handle
  • Flush cup swivel sling studs
  • Ambidextrous trigger guard safety (not on MCK models)
  • Front integral tactical light (not included)
  • Front and rear flip up sights (not included)
  • Fold M3D into VIPER to make them more concealable
  • MSRP: TBA (To Be Announced)

With these fangs, one can easily see why it is called the “VIPER.”

The lower “barrel” is actually a spot for an integral flashlight which can be purchased as an accessory for the VIPER.

WOW!! “Gun Guys” arguing with “Gun Guys” about “GUNS”….I lead a sheltered life, 1st time I’ve witnessed this phenomenon, normally it the anti-gun VS gun guy. interesting…..

  • John Hoglin February 2, 2019, 1:10 pm

While I have no use for it, it troubles me to see the comments that worry about what the anti gun people will say. It does not matter if its scary looking or walnut and blue steel THEY will hate it, lie about it and try to ban it. It sounds like some of the older hunters who don’t support AR style guns because they don’t see the need.

We must all hang together, or we will all hang separately. Old wisdom but still true.

    • al February 3, 2019, 4:15 pm

LOL! Yep, some here STILL think that being P.C. counts for anything.
You’re absolutely correct, they don’t care about what gun is or does what, the ultimate goal is to rid us of ALL guns.
I’m sorry folks, but Jefferson was right, and only blood will ever end this debate.
Let the Tree of Liberty flourish.

  • Adam Jeppson January 31, 2019, 9:57 pm

Ladies and gentlemen, It’s a @$#%&!!ing Glock with frills. Why? Seesh..

  • ATGR January 31, 2019, 6:56 pm

Well, all you critics, I am the owner of one of these. They’ve been around for a few months. Why did I buy it? Because I wanted it. It’s called freedom of choice. Isn’t that what we all fight for? Doesn’t sound that way from what I see from some of you. Pretty simple. For my own reasons it appealed to me, just like my KSG, my Scorpion, my Sig MPX-K, and a whole bunch more I own. I’m fortunate enough to live where I can step out on my deck and touch off any weapon I feel like. Once again, it’s called freedom. So maybe we could all agree, each one of us can make personal choices. You don’t have to like mine, and I don’t have to like yours, but we should all speak as one to defend that right to make those choices.

    • jackhammer February 1, 2019, 1:21 pm

Yes, I get it, it’s YOUR freedom of choice, it’s your constitutional right to buy what you like. After all, this is America and God bless her. I’m glad that you can choose what you like.

It’s also my choice to dislike it, because I can. To me it looks like one of my grandkids jazzed up nerf guns. And after all, CAA’s Viper can’t be banned or be regulated away because it isn’t a gun, it’s a halloween costume for a Glock. No barrel, no action, no mag…. it’s not a gun until you stick a Glock into it.

So, is this something that gun rights advocates should have to fight for? You say yes, I say no.

So, what does a cop on the street do when confronted with something like this? I can think of 100 different scenarios for that outcome…. None of them good. What if it’s my grandson with a jazzed up nerf gun in his front yard?

How about the next round of elections? Hey, did you see the full color picture of XYZ leftist politician holding up that Viper gun on the front page of the Washing Post, New York Times, Newsweek, etc.? Ya, all those gun owning people are a bunch of crazies, that’s why we need more gun control!
No NO NO, it’s only a piece of plastic… oh, too late, the news is out!

But, then again, this is America, so to each his own. So, ATGR, (AnTi-GunneR?) do what you like but I’d suggest sticking your Glock in a holster and throwing away the play-toy. But, that’s your hard won freedom of choice, not mine.

Hopefully, in the future, you will always have the right to step out on your back deck and touch off any gun you choose to. That’s what I’m fighting for!

Personally, I think it’s only a matter of time before our 2nd amendment rights are lost. Maybe 10 years, maybe 50 years. America’s demographics are changing for the worse.

      Take care ATGR.

  • Scotty Gunn January 31, 2019, 6:21 pm

Sometimes SHOT show is like the models you see wearing crazy stuff on the runways. No one is expected to buy it, it’s the designer’s having artistic fun and keeping their name in the spotlights.

  • Randy Haus January 31, 2019, 5:15 pm

With each passing year, I find myself longing for walnut and blued steel more and more. I think we’re all getting a little tired of black plastic. I think we have hit the law of diminishing utility when it comes to polymer and space age weirdness. I carry a Glock every day but it is just a tool, like a saw or a knife.

  • Joell ib Miami January 31, 2019, 5:06 pm

I got more guns then I hope I’ll ever need nonetheless I don’t think I be been this excited for the delivery . This gun screams pretty loud “over kill” so of course I’m going to PIMP it out cerocote the works . Counting the days for it to arrive

  • Anthony Keller January 31, 2019, 5:04 pm

Why would someone make something like this you ask? As Jeff Cooper once said “because it’s for sale”! And people will buy it. I will pass because it would take too much time to deploy and the Glock 19 itself will have stopped the threat by the time you have grabbed the zipper on the concealment pack.

As far as that old argument about the 9mm being ineffective go and look at the ballistics of current hollow point loads for the 9, they run right up to the 45 and in some cases exceed it.
If you use a nine get the best self defense/law enforcement loads you can buy and forget the nonsense that the 45 is better. If you have to shoot an assailant with a nine or a 45 and do it properly He will not know the difference. Which one would you rather get shot with?

  • JoshO January 31, 2019, 4:43 pm

Doesn’t look any smaller than a MP5K. (and a whole lot dumber)

  • Mike V January 31, 2019, 4:43 pm

“If the 9mm was an effective round, the Pope would be dead.”
    G. Gordon Liddy

This is not an effective weapon, this is just plain stupid. Boob bait for people who have never handled a firearm, but now want “something cool”. And Diane Frankenfeinstein can’t wait to ban it, thanks for giving her another showpiece. Even Arnold Schwarzenegger would probably say “You’ve got to be kidding!”

  • duckncover January 31, 2019, 2:37 pm

oh boy………..I must be that guy……COME ON MAN ………. more fodder for the anti`s…..ok ok ok I GET IT….but why give it un-needed attention…..let it be buried cause of uselessness …… shssssss be quiet maybe it`ll pass……

  • Eric Holder January 31, 2019, 1:02 pm

Nice art work! I love Aliens and Terminator.

  • Wgrep January 31, 2019, 12:03 pm

Weird looking gun case for a glock 19. Looks like a crutch for people who cant shoot a handgun, but were talked into it by a good salesman

  • ALAN BARLOW January 31, 2019, 10:51 am

Does this work with the folding Glock 43?

  • Fal Phil January 31, 2019, 10:36 am

You are fooling yourself. It doesn’t matter what the gun looks like.

  • scott goodman January 31, 2019, 10:24 am

If I could buy a glock 19 with a selector switch, I’d get one of these in case I wanted to be like John Dillenger. Otherwise, it seems a tad impractical.

  • Jim88 January 31, 2019, 10:15 am

Guns imitating toys, ?? ….. functional as this thing may be, a “Glock 19” is smaller, weighs less, is less costly and easier to carry. Seems like this might be the sort of weapon that a kid would want to pick up & play with.

MSRP to be announced, … ???? I can hardly wait

    • Kevin Fisher February 1, 2019, 12:00 am

Guns are guns. Teach your kids about them and put them away. I’m sick of this anti second ammendment crap. If you don’t like it… that’s fine. It doesn’t mean others can’t. That’s left wing liberal crap.

  • Mr. Sparkles January 31, 2019, 9:59 am

Hoping MSRP is competitive with HiPoint carbine and/or Kel-Tec carbine or it will end up just another oddity.

  • jackhammer January 31, 2019, 9:45 am

I’m sorry but what purpose does this weapon have? It certainly isn’t tactical so is it supposed to just have that “cool gangster” effect?

“The VIPER is perfect for someone who carries a briefcase, backpack or purse and wants to be able to pack a large amount of firepower that is quick to deploy.” REALLY? Are the zombies coming to town? WTF?

If I knew someone that actually carried one of these in their briefcase or backpack I think I’d be dialing their doctor for a change of their prescription because their current drug regime is no longer working properly.

I know this is America and I’m all for freedom to do what you wish, but this is ridiculous. If you feel the need to be well armed, there are a 100 better solutions other this. I agree with JLF’s post, this is not what gun owners fight for…. at least not me.

    • Stevie January 31, 2019, 11:02 am

      X 2

    • Smitty January 31, 2019, 7:27 pm

We better fight for it all or we will lose it all. I say go for broke. After all it’s only ALL your freedom at stake.

  • Sean January 31, 2019, 9:42 am

That’s the dumbest shit I’ve ever seen. Why do you people at guns America even bother posting stupid ass shit like this? It’s the garbage like this that makes us gun people look bad. Instead of giving your weak lil 9mm some more velocity, upgrade to a .45acp John Moses Browning did it right the 1st time…

    • Bad Pengun January 31, 2019, 10:24 am

Sean I don’t think this toy will even give you more velocity for your 9mm. Unlike similar products, this one has you pit the entire pistol into it instead of just the lower.

  • Walt January 31, 2019, 9:41 am

I can’t see how the 9mm bullets coming out of the front end of this are any more effective than those coming out of a Glock pistol. If it was a submachine gun I can see justification for the bulk and weight, but not for a semiautomatic.

On the other hand, to each his own. I won’t buy one, but if you do I hope you have a lot of fun with it.

    • Ejharb January 31, 2019, 10:32 pm

Love my g19 just as it is but that being said why can’t we all have this attitude???

On the other hand, to each his own. I won’t buy one, but if you do I hope you have a lot of fun with it.

  • Jim January 31, 2019, 9:28 am

Not sure I see the purpose of this. There are better sub-gun options and I’m not sure what it has to offer in and of itself.

  • Jeffrey L. Frischkorn January 31, 2019, 9:24 am

As my late father liked to say when he came across something he believed was on no value: “That thing is about as useful as tits on a bull.”

    • Bobby McAteer January 31, 2019, 9:11 pm

I agree I say it a lot myself but I got it from a movie that I can’t remember the name of. My condolences about your father he was a wise man.

    • jamie February 1, 2019, 4:34 am

I always heard, ‘tits on a boar’ either works…meh…pigs have more babies 😉

  • RUSerious January 31, 2019, 7:45 am

Looks like RoboCop lost an appendage.

  • Jeffrey L. Frischkorn January 31, 2019, 7:31 am

And in another year when one of these weapons is used in some mass shooting owners of truly legitimate gun owners will have to rush to this item’s defense and the people who bought them…

  • Viper118 January 31, 2019, 7:08 am

This weapon looks cumbersome. A better choice is a Kel Tec Sub 2000 gen 2. The Sub 2000 folds to about 16 inches, is very accurate, light weight, very realiable and has many rails. It also uses Glock mags and comes in 9 or 40.
