I’ve got a Hogue grip for my AR and I love it. Hogue has made a business of making terrific grips for all kinds of guns, and their latest offering solves a problem for guns without interchangeable grips.

Hogue’s new Beavertail Grip Sleeve is a great option for pistols without interchangeable grip panels. Plus, it comes in colors. Photo from Hogue.

The new Beavertail Grip Sleeves slide over your pistol’s existing grip and cover it all the way up the beavertail for a positive purchase on the whole thing. It’s ideal for compact and sub-compact guns. It’s made of a long-lasting durable thermoplastic elastomer compound which they boast isn’t too tacky for carrying and won’t harden or crack with age. Its subtle softness provides a little comfort from recoil, too. Plus, it comes in 6 different colors.

I’d buy one if they get rid of the ridiculous finger groove! glock takes them off hogue puts them on, the gun industry needs to get their act together…………I’LL PASS

The grooves to cause them to dd more volume, would have preferred without as well. I do have them on two CZ’s.

I purchased one of these sleeves for my Sig P365. I liked everything about the pistol, but found the grip a little slim for my big hands. I bought the Sig even though the grip was a little small knowing Hogue was already making a sleeve for it. The sleeve is very well made and fits tight enough to make it a bit of a struggle to get on, which makes sense. The finger grooves actually increased the ability to grip the pistol. The only thing I would have changed on the sleeve would be to place the texturing on the back strap as well. I told Hogue of my opinion. If the only thing you don’t like about the P365 is the circumference of the grip this product will help.

peple have been bitching for years about “no finger grooves on glocks”. so hogue comes out with grip sleeves with “finger grooves”. i just don’t get it…..

I find it disappointing that you show a Sig P365 in the initial picture but only list the grip for the P320.

WHY DID YOU BUY A HAND GUN THAT DOES NOT FIT YOUR HAND IN THE FIRST PLACE

    • Tonya March 4, 2019, 2:01 pm

Gun fits fine, has designs on the back strap and front strap that digs into hands and I do not want to wear gloves. Polymer grips that cannot be changed. Some do have a good reason.

I would stick with black on black. All of the colored examples are ugly.

    • Tonya March 4, 2019, 2:04 pm

I put blue on mine, black on husband’s. Girl thing. BUT, when you’re cleaning, the light colored gets pretty dirty so I wrapped with paper towel and taped it on to keep it clean. When it wears I will go with black next time.

Not sure why this is even apart of new things Hogue makes since they’ve been making these GLOCK rubber grip covers for a few years at least. Was looking at one a few months back on CTD and almost bought it but don’t want the extra width added to my frame. This is not at all a new thing! And other companies have and are making the same basic product. You’d think since this is a shot show item, meaning the newest of the newest products it’d actually be a new product. Yeah, they may of not had the beaver tail option before, but is it worth writing an entire article to show the one new version? I bet there was a lot more booths with a lot more and interesting and actually new products. I’m not at all a hater of hogue as I use their palm swelled rubber over mold AR version pistol grip and love it. But in my opinion this was a waste of time for myself reading it and especially the writer of this article. I do like how thry added a little extra that goes up to the beaver tail and possibly might pick up one some day to try.

I have to agree, I bought one 2 years ago for my LCP. Maybe they have added some pistol models to the lineup, or the article lacks the necessary info.
