We’ve seen FightLite’s AR pistol before, but at first, it had only a pirate raider grip. Now with a solid “sawed-off” (for lack of a better phrase) style grip, you can get two hands on the Bandito and hold it firmly. The buttstock is not a brace, so this will not be affected by the ATF’s SBR rules.
The Bandito mounts to standard AR-15 uppers, but the lower is significantly different. It’s a modern take on the mare’s leg shotgun shape and the whole gun is just 21.25″ long.

The Bandito’s barrel is just 7.25″ long, so the RipBrake is essential for keeping recoil under control and directing the fireball to the sides so you can still see your target.
The forend has a flare to help keep your hand behind the blast. It’s available in both 5.56 NATO and 300 Blackout, and the barrel is threaded appropriately for each caliber so suppressor use will be easy.
The buffer tube is not like standard ARs. It is modified and travels downward into the grip, rather than straight back into an AR stock.

Not a SBR? Umm sure, if you say so. Calling the grip a butt stock (which was dumb IMHO) sounds kind of rifle like to me. Gotta love gun companies that go out of their way to force the ATF to make new rules that infringe on our 2A rights even more. I’m anxious to see how long it takes the ATF to say this is no doubt a SBR. Good for you if they don’t.

I’m wondering what exactly justifies the $335 increase from this one versus the $865 Raider from the previous article linked above? They look identical other than the shockwave grip on the Raider. If so that Mare’s Leg stock is a pricey little piece of plastic.

300bo is always going to be the better round in my opinion for short barrels. id run this with 20rd mags and a green dot holosun 407 mounted as low as I can get it. maybe a Kenai chest rig.

Oh boy, I am always puzzled when such names are given to firearms and moreover when they are publicised. It seems that some really want to feed the anti-gun lobby. It looks like a toy for young kid and anti-gunners are happy to use that to describe the pro-gun community. We must look better than that if we want to get the credit we deserve. Just my opinion.
What antigunners need is to sit down and shut up. There’s no such creature as common sense gun laws in the US. According to the Constitution, no gun legislation is legal. You can’t look at it as a single violation against our rights, but two. You can’t look at the 2nd without doing so through the authority of the 10th. The Constitution establishes who has authority over gun ownership by virtue of the 2nd to the people also restricting anyone from restricting gun ownership. Literally, any and all gun laws are violation of our 2nd and 10th Amendments.
Anti gunners are going to hate it regardless. It’s just what they do.
I don’t see how this can take standard uppers. Where does the BCG travel to when the gun cycles? A standard BCG travels straight back into the buffer tube, and there is no way for it to angle downward as it travels, which would be required for it to go into this guns grip.
