An Atlanta man stood his ground and defended his home over the weekend when two suspected robbers broke into his residence on Howell Terrace on the city’s southwest side.
Police say that when the suspects entered the residence at around 3 a.m. Sunday morning the homeowner was able to overpower one of them and shoot him multiple times.
Following the shooting, the suspect was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.
An investigation is still underway. No word yet as of what happened to the second suspect.
