How They Are Taking Our Guns: The Blueprint for Confiscation

2nd Amendment – R2KBA Authors S.H. Blannelberry This Week

I have a confession to make. When it comes to confiscation, I used to be a skeptic. See, in addition to missing some of the latent warning signs, I made the grave mistake of believing a then-Sen. Obama when he promised American voters that he wouldn’t take our guns.

“When you all go home and you’re talking to your buddies and you say, ah ‘He wants to take my gun away.’ You’ve heard it here, I’m on television so everybody knows it. I believe in the Second Amendment. I believe in people’s lawful right to bear arms. I will not take your shotgun away. I will not take your rifle away. I won’t take your handgun away,” said Obama, during a campaign stop in a Lebanon, Virginia in 2008.

Yes, shame on me for trusting a politician. Well, not that I really trusted Obama but I thought, you know, it would be political suicide for him to come after our guns. So, from an electability standpoint, he just won’t do it.  And aside from a few minor provisions during his first term in office, he did stay away from the 2A. But after his re-election in 2012, well, all hell broke loose. Obama turned from gun-friendly to gun-foe almost overnight. The president who explicitly said he wouldn’t take our shotguns, rifles and handguns had a whole new attitude. Many of you probably saw this coming — sad to say, I did not, especially to the extent that he changed.

“We should restore the ban on military-style assault weapons and a 10-round limit for magazines. And that deserves a vote in Congress — because weapons of war have no place on our streets, or in our schools, or threatening our law enforcement officers,” said the president back in February of 2013 while visiting the Minneapolis Police Department Special Operations Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Basically, that’s a complete 180. A flip-flop that would make even Hillary Clinton jealous (she’s been known to “evolve” on issues from time to time). Obama went from, I’m-not-taking-your-rifle to I-want-to-ban-the-most-popular-rifle-being-sold-in-America, i.e. modern sporting rifle, the AR-15 platform. Well, from that point on there was no mincing words, no more subterfuge.  It was clear. It was game on. It was all systems go for the gun-control machine. They were going to come for our guns. And they did. And they still are. And they’re not going to stop. And here’s how they’re going to do it.

The Three Tiers of Gun Confiscation

1. Dry Up the Supply

“Obviously there’s no single solution, which is why I support a wide range of policy proposals to bring sense to our firearms laws,” said Dianne Feinstein in a statement with respect to re-instituting a federal assault-weapons ban (AWB). “I continue to believe that drying up the supply of military-style assault weapons is an important piece of the puzzle—and the data back this up.”

First off, there’s no data to back up Feinstein’s statement. She’s completely full of it. Crime has dropped uniformly since the expiration of the Clinton-Era AWB, leading every honest criminologist to conclude that it had zero effect on crime rates.

What Feinstein was proposing was actually implemented in New York State, under the flawed SAFE Act. What the SAFE Act did was (1) broaden the definition of “assault weapon” to include more commonly owned and widely popular firearms (2) require everyone to register it with the government and (3) prevent any future transfers of those weapons, so that once the owner died the gun would no longer be legal for anyone to possess. That’s what she means by “dry up the supply.”

Make no mistake, it’s not only a ban, but it’s confiscation over the long haul. It’s insidious, and like I said, several states have laws on the books just like it and more are considering them (Wisconsin lawmakers are looking at one right now!). Could something like this be passed at the federal level? It’s unlikely. However, they’re going to try like hell to see that it does.

2. Mandatory Government Buyback

Gun buybacks are a common in the U.S. Many local police departments and municipalities set them up to “take guns off the street.” For the most part, they’re unsuccessful at reducing crime because thugs and gangster aren’t eager to trade in their piece for a $100 Best Buy gift certificate (or whatever it is they’re offering). While that’s obvious to everyone with a brain, politicians insist that they make a difference. Of course, they’re wrong. They don’t. It’s basically a way for people with old, inoperable firearms to exchange their junk for something. That’s it.

Now, none of these buybacks are mandatory. But, as we’ve recently heard from Hillary Clinton, that could change. Clinton wants to take a page from Australia’s gun-control playbook and institute a national, mandatory gun buyback which would force all gun owners to turn in certain firearms. It’s precisely what the government did in the Land Down Under following the Port Arthur shooting in 1996. The Australian government enacted the National Firearms Agreement, which banned semiautomatic rifles, pump-action shotguns as well as other firearms in common use.

Gun owners were faced with two choices: they could turn their guns in and receive a stipend or keep their guns and become outlaws. It appears that a majority opted to follow the NFA (thereby forfeiting their right to self-defense), as the government collected upwards of 640,000 firearms. Again, to the gun-grabbing crowd stateside, this is a great idea.

“When Australia had a mass killing … it was just so shocking the entire country said, ‘Well, we’re going to completely change our gun laws,’ and they did,” said Obama during a recent interview with comedian Marc Maron. And it hasn’t happened since.”

I don’t anticipate this happening anytime soon, but the fact that Hillary Clinton said, the mandatory buyback program, “deserves a look,” should be enough to give one pause.

3. Gun-Grabbing Task Force

Did you know that in California there is a whole task force (33-agent unit) dedicated to confiscating firearms from individuals?

It’s nothing new, either. Following the passage of Senate Bill 950 in 2001, the Golden State created the Armed and Prohibited Persons System. It’s a program that law enforcement uses to cross reference registered gun owners with a list of individuals prohibited from possessing a firearm. In theory, it’s not such a bad idea. The government can actively disarm bad guys and the mentally ill, right?

But, again, in practice it doesn’t always work out that way, especially when the state keeps lowering the bar for what makes one a prohibited person. Consider the case of Michael Merritt from Bakersfield, CA, who watched as agents raided his home and seized his firearms for a marijuana possession charge that dated back to the 1970s.

“It’s just the worst feeling,” Merritt told Eyewitness News back in Feb. of 2013. “It’s a loss of your liberty, of your rights. I almost passed out when they said they wanted all my guns.”

“I thought, he’s here to get my guns for some reason,” Merritt continued. “He says, ‘You have a felony here from 1970.’ I said, ‘A felony? A pot possession charge from 1970.'”

The agents not only took his five registered handguns but his wife’s firearms as well. What’s crazy is that the (a) Merritt had already settled the matter by paying a $100 fine and serving a probation stint four decades ago and (b) the felony charge had been reduced to a misdemeanor.

Weeks later, the government finally caught their mistake and returned Merritt’s property to him.

“I’m glad we got them back, we got lucky,” Merritt said. “Because we never thought we’d see the guns again, ever.”

I have a feeling that this type of task-force confiscation program is going to be expanded in the near future. I bet that’s what the ATF eventually turns into, an agency dedicated to confiscation. At the same time, I have a feeling that anti-gun lawmakers will start crafting laws that turn petty offenses into felonies in an effort to disarm more Americans, e.g. loaning a gun to a neighbor without a background check.

Conclusion

I get it, some of you will accuse me of stirring the pot, stoking the fire, playing to people’s fears. You’ll argue that confiscation is a pipe dream for gun-grabbers and that our GOP-dominated Congress would never allow that to happen. Well, I understand your skepticism. As I mentioned, I used to be a skeptic too. But things change — and sometimes much quicker than one can anticipate. What seems improbable today, may become a reality tomorrow. My point is simply this: confiscation isn’t about to happen, it’s already happening in states like New York, California, Connecticut. Open your eyes, take a look around and see for yourself. They are already taking our guns. The only question is: what are we going to do about it?

It’s a sad time when we citizens , are not informed properly about our own politician’s who have an interest only to keep their jobs and not to serve the honest abiding people . They use multiple death shootings and other major crime’s as platforms to further their carriers . They use band aides to show they care knowing that the band aide will not stop the blood from running . Shootings have occurred in the past , and they still doesn’t matter how many laws are enacted it just makes it easier for the criminals ..
Already New Jersey practices it with a very long list of unjust Laws aimed to , or should I say Directed to arrest anyone who wants to own a gun . Leading to confiscation of our weapons rifles , guns etc… These laws are written in such a way that no matter what reason that makes sense , you end up in prison and weapon confiscated and your 2nd Amendments revoked in all states . These laws are written in such a way to confuse and tie up the justice system with unconstitutional actions .

I live close to that campaign stop that Obama made in 2008. The local media carried his speech live his exact comments were, “I’ll never take your hunting rifles or shotguns” he crafted his remarks very precisely there was no mention of handguns or MSR’s because he knew exactly what he was saying and exactly what he planned to do if he were re-elected in 2012 and he has done exactly what he didn’t really say. We all know why they are so bent on taking the MSR’s first, because they can be made scary to the average schmo that they convince that MSR’s are full auto “weapons of war” and the average schmo buys it and thinks we are crazy to even want to own such a weapon. But when they get the MSR’s and crime and shooting statistics differ not one percentage point then they will come after whatever they demonize next. And they will until there are no more to demonize, and we are lost as a free nation. Many people even some on this site put down the NRA and claim that they are too over the top in their attacks and claim that it’s only “fear mongering.” Well tell me where the NRA has been wrong about Obama? Where have they been wrong about how far the Liberal Left will go to ban all firearms? In very, very few instances have their predictions been wrong, and in those few instances they were partially correct. If the NRA weren’t fighting our fight for our rights and been there to protect firearm owners where would we be now? We would be the new Australia, firearm free. Anyone can easily find a coupon in numerous places to join for $25.00 and you get a quality magazine at that price along with the assurance of someone fighting for your right to protect you and your family and our Constitution. That is a damn small price to pay to save our rights. If every firearm owner joined they would have incredible influence and power in DC. So much so that even the Demorats would have to step back and re-think their party wide attempts to disarm America because they would be in mortal fear of losing their cushy, tax payer funded, pie job. 100,000,000 votes buy a lot of influence.

I am a “law abiding citizen” I have a concealed weapons permit in my state.
Meaning I am not nor ever have been a felon.
If some Jackass wants to take my guns, You all will see it on the evening news. I am not alone.
    Yabba Dabba fuckin Doooo!

    Excellent article and spot on!
Gun confiscation is really nothing new; not even here in the U.S. It’s one of the main reasons why the American Colonists chose to violently rebel against their own government during the late 1700’s. The British Crown thought they would disarm their own people, and like today, had a large bag full of excuses to “justify” the gun confiscations (and warrantless searches, seizures, and arrests) back then. Things didn’t go as planned for those in charge.

Apart from the advancement of technology, nothing is really different or new when it comes to the actions and experiences of man throughout history. The course of man has been down this road more than once, and it seems we’re strolling down it again. What matters is which direction the people – not the government – choose to take.

The vast majority of “gun crimes” occur in the illegal drug trade, both for protecting their goods and eliminating competition. The War on Drugs is all about losing. First of all, it goes completely against our founding principle of individual freedom by denying self-ownership. It makes us all forever children under the law. Second, it’s not only not working, it is producing a very profitable criminal enterprise that is enriching criminals, terrorists and cartels that are taking over entire countries. Third, it provides the perfect ruse to search anyone without probable cause and will be the mechanism by which guns will be taken. When you go against freedom, something bad happens just like the War on Poverty has taken away our property rights and made millions children under the law. This is just another failed and corrupt government program that endangers our gun rights as well as our entire Bill of Rights.

  • DaveGinOly November 15, 2015, 2:29 am

Please stop calling confiscation by consideration a “buyback.” You can’t buy back something you never owned.

Obama….. The destroyer of America, a person who invites drug dealers, murders, anarchists, and terrorists to the white house for dinner, for parties, tea, and crumpets in the rose garden. He should of been put in prison a long time ago with all his constituents, like the clintons, Soros, Bloomberg, Kerry, holder, Reid, Pelozi, ayres, fienstein, sharpton, Jackson etc…..need I go on.. The whole system has to be revamped. The idiots running our country and in the white house are all part of the anti christ obamanation. He’s a socialist Muslim who spouts out rhetoric that is foul to the ears of the individual with common sense. I have read all the aforementioned comments all of which bring out some good points. The NRA has to step up now and put all this crap at rest…like one of the comments said they need to stop having speech platforms and need to put words in to actions. Starting with the liberals in the U.S. Supreme Court. If we (gun) owners don’t do it now we mine as well bend over and let the liberals have their way…..pressure from every law abiding gun owner has to step up and force the NRA in to action. I wish I had the money like trump I would start today by petitioning our government at every level, and communications, via internet, television commercials… etc. We need our weapons more than ever now because there is the ever present danger of the jehadist attacking us with the support of obama…… wakeie, wakeie, America.

Hopefully, Blannelberry will learn well from your mistake about trusting politicians. But to not see this liar coming, damn you were dumb. And I mean dumb as a box of rocks in the rain, but we all were at one time, some were just slower learners, others, no common sense.

The confiscation/ownership lists area already made, and here’s how its done. When you go to buy a firearm, and you pass the background check, you cannot change your mind to buy another gun without going through the ncis check again. Why? Serial number.

Years ago, I sold a pistol to a person. Had a receipt and witnesses to the sale. Well, he got in big trouble, and said it wasn’t his gun, he had no idea the gun was in a truck he “borrowed”. They tracked it back to me by the numbers. How did they do it? Quoting the detective ” we have access to the serial numbers and can track guns from the factory to every person who owned it if they sold/bought it legally.” By legally, he meant sold/bought to FFL licensed dealers. The govt been keeping this info for years. Keep your receipts and if you don’t have what you need by now, you are easily dumber than a box of rocks in rain.

I heard recently, a poll that showed where people are now with banning guns versus where they were back in history, and although I don’t recall the numbers, those knowing what OUR 2nd Amendment is, what OUR Constitution is and supporting it, are dwindling. OUR Constitution, OUR Bill Of Rights are being systematically erased, eliminated generation after generation, beginning at early ages in Elementary Schools where kids are suspended for biting pop-tarts into the shape of guns whose blueberry or cherry filling might kill some other kid no differently than a bullet could, so to hear it reasoned. The solution to saving our nation is going to be hard to accomplish, but the place to begin waging the war of survival is at the early child ages by taking back our children. Take them back from the clutches of people whom most of us have no idea are, or anything about them as they mentor our children in classrooms, captive with no escape, not teaching them the three “R’s” (reading, writing, arithmetic), but rather that guns and bibles are bad, two mommies or two daddies are good, a loving mother and father couple are bad. Five days per week we turn our children over to people most of us don’t know or know anything about, that teach them things, values that run contrary to ours, and when all is said and done, our children graduate from High School and can’t add 2 + 2 and come up with the correct answer, but will argue at the dinner table that guns cause global warming, because that’s what they’re taught in school. Take our sovereign nation and Constitution back, as well as OUR God given right to own guns, not some privilege allowed by any government, and the place to start is by pulling OUR children out of schools and…HOME SCHOOLING them. The battlefield begins in Kindergarten of a war, cancer being waged against OUR nation, these United States Of America.

I have to ask in all seriousness that if there isn’t a problem with an adult, teacher that has a small child suspended from school for running around the playground with his buddies pointing fingers at each other, yelling “Bang, bang…pow, pow”. Think about that for a second because it happens. There ARE adults out there with children that think that a bullet is going to magically come shooting out the end of some little kids finger and kill some other little kid. Think about that kind of rationale and ask yourself about the lack of mental stability in that adult, and whether or not they should be left alone with any child, unsupervised. And then ask yourself why you would allow YOUR child to be left alone with such an unstable adult for eight hours per day, five days per week. Why is our country getting so screwed up, so upside down, and where is it originating from? Think about it.

  • Dennis November 13, 2015, 9:47 pm

Did you miss the part where Obama signed a bill that allows you to use a gun for protection in national parks? That’s more than Mitt did.

    • Mark from Bristol, IN. November 13, 2015, 11:57 pm

Question. National Parks fall under U.S. Government, federal guidelines, not state law. Obama is the president of this nation, and Romney was the governor of Massachusetts. The law that you are referring to was signed into law in Feb, 2010 but is left up to individual states to allow or disallow. Comparing the power or actions of a president (Obama) to a former governor that was never a president (Romney) is somewhat like comparing apples to oranges?

A society can only be enslaved if it allows itself to be. In the case of our society, we are being put to the test. If they come to take our guns will we allow ourselves to be enslaved or will we stand up and resist. Years ago, I would have thought that we would have the metal to resist, especially with all of the war veterans that live here. But then I look at Australia, England, and Canada and realize that they have the same kind of people that we do, but when it came to gun confiscation they rolled over and let it happen. It really doesn’t give me a level of comfort as to how we will react when it comes time. The NRA needs to step up along with some of the other pro-gun groups and get people more organized and set to resist. Otherwise what good are they.

    • Ken February 26, 2016, 9:59 am

It’s hard to have “metal” when it comes to fighting a drone.
Today the government has way to much advantage over us when one operator can sit at a laptop and take out a whole neighborhood.
Something to remember IF the “fit hits the shan”.

      • George Carnahan March 12, 2018, 2:03 pm

Somebody on the ground has to operate that drone. Find out where he is and go after him.

  • Cooper November 13, 2015, 4:59 pm

When the NRA Board of Directors is willing to stand, peaceably armed, on the steps of the Supreme Court and demand a decision on a national gun rights law, I’ll be there.

  • Mgj November 13, 2015, 2:33 pm

Without getting bashed over the head or being called names or any negative comments , I have an honest question. It’s easy to say stand up for your rights and make a change and believe me that’s exactly what I want to do.

I agree with 95% of the people that have posted to this article. But my question is what do you really do about it?

If you walk the streets and protest you will get everything on you confiscated thrown in jail and most likely end up with a felony.

If you try to write to your politicians, well keyword politician . I just don’t see how that’s going to help when it’s the politicians that are causing the problems in the first place. I personally do not trust any politician.

I’m sure not all , but my local police department is like a group and overeager 21 year old Nazi’s that want to take you to jail for having an expired tag. So it’s hard to protest without having the fear of getting shot and killed by the ones that are supposed to serve and protect.

I have been an NRA member since I can remember , but lately they fill my mailbox up with 10 pounds of junk mail a month and they use as much fear tactics as against guns. I don’t know what to trust anymore.

So I ask this for someone that truly does want to help , what do you do ? where do you start ? What are the steps to begin to make a change ?

I would love to hear your comments but please keep your negative ones to yourself.

    • Mongo November 14, 2015, 9:11 am

Use the same tactics as the liberals –mass amounts of citizens arriving at public officials offices and denying then entrance to the buildings that we the people control, while others go put pressure on their financial supporters (mostly local businesses ) and mass public boycotts. Immediate recall petitions. We have got to come together, if what happened in Missouri college is that effective, why can’t we?

  • Ed Rodriguez November 13, 2015, 11:42 am

I hate to say it but the American people are chic hen shits, when it comes to protecting their rights. BEND OVER PUT IT IN. thats the attitude most have.As long it does not pertain to them. forget it.
They want our guns for whats to come. Look at the INVADERS in Europe, almost all males, chic hen shit scum, not fighting for their country. Well they are there to take over Europe ( dumb asses) one stabbed 2 nurses and a Dr. because they could not save the daughter. They looting stores. Scumoma want 200K to go to Michigan. WE have guns so let them try the crap here like Europe. I hope that WE THE PEOPLE, have the guts to fight back.

  • david November 13, 2015, 10:04 am

Yes, there is a blueprint for confiscation. And the effort won’t stop until they fear us more than they fear our guns. But there are peaceful ways to resist and stils cause that fear too. Keep the following in mind:

    1) There are already MILLIONS of guns in private hands, with no record of them having been sold. Prior to the Gun Control Act, you could buy them over the counter in any hardware, dime or sports store in the nation with no record of the transaction. You probably own one already.
    2) Very few of those guns have ‘worn out’ or been dumped in the trash. Guns 100 years old are still lethal and accurate.
    3) THAT gun is the gun to hide from confiscation first, with ammo, cleaning kit and spares of critical parts.
    4) Due to back-scatter radar and ground penetrating radar, burying it off your property is a good idea if you seriously fear confiscation.
    5) You can find instructions for ‘rust proof burial’ online, as well as good ideas for locations.
    6) By law, modern purchase records are only kept a short time after the background check.
    7) Even among those, any paper copies are long ago either rotted or buried in long term storage facilities. There were no fed databases tracking purchases or ownership until relatively recently.
    8) So, basically, the supply will not dry up.
    9) Credit card sales leave a record that authorities can use to find out what guns or ammo you buy, so use cash.
    10) You can still buy guns for cash from private owners – even in states where it’s supposed to be ‘recorded’ in some way.
    11) You can buy ammo for cash at gun shows, and stock up to reasonable levels. (I say that because if the ‘authorities’ come after me, I doubt I’d last long enough against a full assault to use even a small fraction of 1000 rounds of anything. But I have ample supplies of ammo for me and my family to use.)
    12) If some long gun you want is illegal in your state, you can buy it over the state line somewhere else. Handguns however seem to be more problematic, but rifles are far more accurate anyway.
    13) Non-compliance with registration schemes is a big issue for states that have tried them. Read up on what’s going on in CT, NY, and WA and their ‘register or it’s a felony’ schemes. E.g. Sheriffs in NY state have refused to even try to enforce the SAFE Act. People are openly defying the ‘register your sale’ law in WA. Virtually NOBODY in CT complied with that registration law – about 36k out of an estimated quarter to half million for the ARs and an even lower percentage for magazine registration.
    14) So far in all 3 of those states, there has been nobody willing to start confiscation. There is too much fear of not only armed resistance, but also an ‘after the fact’ that if you create a million or so felons by administrative fiat in your state, and jail them, you’ve just shot yourself in the foot with lost taxes, welfare for their families, creating more resisters, and jail costs – not to mention the possibility of failure of the confiscations when the last of your law enforcement has been killed or quit the force to stay alive.
    15) And none of that so far (except for the possible result of an open confiscation effort) even begins to mount up to ‘armed resistance’.

So basically, as long as we gun owners simply refuse to comply with ANY gun control efforts, and avoid leaving records for enforcement use, I don’t expect much at all to happen. There are at least 100 million gun owners in the country, and I’ve seen 140 million as a good number too. Only one percent of that number is a million person guerrilla army. Confiscation will not happen. Even if open war broke out over confiscation, if each gun owner takes out one ‘confiscator’ before they get him/her, the government will run out of any employees at all long before we run out of gunners. Our Founding Fathers were smarter than these anti-gun butt-wipes think they were.

Believing anything obama ever said casts serious doubts upon your judgment. 1st time I saw/heard him I knew he was lucifer’s own. Anybody who chooses to affiliate/align themselves with, or believe anything coming from dimmercrat cabal has something essential missing upstairs.

    1. “If you like your insurance, you can keep your insurance, PERIOD.”
    2. “If you like your doctor, you can keep your doctor, PERIOD.”
We all know how well that worked out, don’t we? These words were actually verbal contracts between Obama and the American people and enforceable in the courts if you can prove that a contract was made. That should have been an easy task given the videos of him making those contracts. Why haven’t our representatives in congress pursued this angle in their attempts to nullify Obamacare? If they had, it would have set a precedent on the confiscation of firearms and made future plans of confiscation moot because his contract on this issue are also on video.

I dare anyone who’s on this mailing list and reads these articles to read a good book on propaganda techniques. This article is such a ton of crap designed to stir up the choir. It is a right wingnut diatribe devoid of factual basis. In fact the author takes a few facts, turns them on their head, magnifies them, and then presents them as the facts that he started with. There’s a simple technical term for this. It is called lying. In final review, this article is just another right-wingnut anti-Democrat political screed of no veracity.

How about when the DHS Emergency Confiscation squads replicating California’s ‘propaganda’ based Confiscation police who will soon, if not already, be equipped with SEVEN THOUSAND newly requisitioned 5.56 ‘special mission’ ultra compact machine guns like the LWRC IC PDW to augment the standard Government police state MP-5 9mms when they might be confronted by more formidable ‘illegally armed’ citizens during ‘confiscation sweeps’? ‘Propaganda’ with no veracity, you say?

When it happens because traitors like you helped so much to facilitate it a moron on his meds like you Pat, might not even be allowed to drive a dangerous ‘assault vehicle’ anymore if we don’t get even MORE ‘magnification’ of this evil, and less ‘myopic’ views by igno-imbecilic leftists such as yourself.

The ammo shortage seems to be letting up, ammo is becoming more available in our area. At least for the time being. I guess all we’ll need is another lunatic to have a shootout for who knows what reason and it will be back on again. All I know is I have stocked up somewhat, at least as much as I can afford without going without other necessities. Who knows what clandestine, behind closed doors meetings are being held in Washington. Still don’t trust the Gov’t. and never will again.

  • Daryl November 13, 2015, 9:08 am

First of all, those of us that looked into Obama’s past knew that he would go for confiscation. Secondly, Obama said himself that he wanted to ban guns or in his words to take firearms out from the people to make a safer country. He then turned around and saifd that he didn’t mean it the way it came out. Common sense will tell you his agenda when you look at his ideology of government being the ruling body in America. Which is totally away from the constitution as the constitution says that “we the people” are the ruling body and the government works for us. Look at the communist agenda and one will see that confiscation is a must and Obama was taught the communist ideology.

  • Gerry McCloskey November 13, 2015, 9:06 am

Let me get this right; Release 6000 convicted felons onto the street with zero chance of gaining employment, and who the overwhelming majority will return to criminal activity on the one hand, while with the other, tout his support for the Australian and British type confiscation of law abiding citizen’s firearms. In what socio-political universe can these two positions possibly be reconciled?????

  • sebastian November 13, 2015, 8:41 am

He also promised you could keep your current doctor and Obamacare was NOT a tax.

  • Tonic November 13, 2015, 8:02 am

This website is so hypocritical, my first comment is waiting for some authoritarian to approve my speech.

  • Tonic November 13, 2015, 8:00 am

I am never considering another Democrat again. After the authoritarian, treasonous, and criminal way they acted with the 2nd Amendment issues. From the bottom up, I have seen enough to never trust them again.

  • Infidel7.62 November 13, 2015, 7:53 am

If you ever believed anything this community agitator has said you are a fool. He and his cohort Hilldolph Clinton are both truthaphobic.

  • Tom Horn November 13, 2015, 7:43 am

We have, and are seeing the first phase of the plan, “Dry Up Supplies,” taking place:
    1. The Spring of 2013 firearms and ammo shortage, where the government bought up all available ammo, and very few semi-auto rifles available at that time.
    2. The continued unexplained shortage of .22 rimfire ammo (the most popular rounds owned by American Citizens), and their triple fold price increase in just a few short years, trying to dissuade citizens from the shooting sports and firearm ownership.
    3. Look for another shortage of the highly popular 9 mm Luger, as the FBI, and other government agencies transition to the ammo of the, “New World Order (NATO).

Mark my words, soon we will only be able to buy these new poly bullets, that will not penetrate body amour, making confiscation safer for the government of the elite, for the elite.

    • Bill Cleveland November 13, 2015, 8:11 am

Poly ammo can be made effective against forged CS plate. Take a common Zippo lighter flint. measure the diameter of the flint – drill a slightly smaller hole 1/2 the length of the flint in the center of the nose of the bullet. put a drop superglue on the bottom of the flint. Taking great care, tap the flint into the hole in the nose of the bullet. The flint goes plasma on impact – instant nasty. Works great on 3/8 in forged steel plate. For other “stuff” – replace the flint with a 1/8 in diameter SST piece of welding rod, 1/4 in long . Works great on Kevlar ect ect. Bonus is neither of these methods of enhancing your target shooting enjoyment is prohibited. You’re welcome.

Perfectly written information, S.H.B. And your most Salient point… ‘Confiscation has already begun…’ is right on the money.
I’ve also been trying to spread the word about this for years now and was mostly met with the typical socially programmed ‘normalcy bias’ responses. “AW, it can’t happen…we got the NRA and ‘WE’ control Congress now, and bla bla…Besides, it’s unconstitutional. The 2/A says …Shall Not Be Infringed’, with no qualifiers!, Right?”‘

Wrong! It’s only Constitutional if we can physically prevent these totalitarian psychos from back door castration of the 2nd/A without which there would BE NO Constitution or personal liberties.

What is really happening here and now is that Leftist Marxists are simply making their own ‘Counter-Constitutional’ laws deceitfully disguised as ‘Public Safety’ or ‘Intensive Crime Prevention’ bills and statutes which actually have no other real purpose but to effectively disarm and preclude ownership of any and all useful 2/A guaranteed firearms. ‘Public Safety’ is a specious notion contrived and abused to bullshit the sheeple to support a tyranny agenda. The 2/A has absolutely NO qualifications or caveats expressed or implied. .Shall Not Be Infringed. does not have any exceptions like the treasonous and insidious 1968 Control Act put forth to restrict the 2nd Amendment. Not types of firearms, Not specious subjective ‘descriptions’ like ‘assault weapons’, and certainly no caveats for creating a class of citizens of felons by fiat and eternally prohibiting their ‘inalianable rights! The tool used to commit a crime may be a factor in the amount or severity of the punishment of the crime, and certainly some cases do require the permanent restriction of the criminal’s un-repairable sociopathy to have any weapon–which simply means a life sentence! But nowhere does the 2/A or any common law sense provide that once a person has ‘paid his dues’ for his crimes, and as such has integrated back into society with the purpose of again becoming a ‘law abiding citizen’, What other reason then– except so obvious of a sinister universal confiscation scheme that even a blind piss ant at night can see it–can there be for creating ‘permanen’t firearm prohibition for persons even AFTER they were already punished and paid for their crimes with incarceration except to use this in reverse for their agenda. So once the totalitarian gun confiscators had that permanent ‘Jeti Mind Trick’ into pragmatic application, It’s relatively easy to then disarm the entire citizenry by custom tailoring ‘crimes’ to the illegal ‘permanent firearms bans for convicted criminals’!

And as some of us predicted, it wouldn’t stop there. And i beg to be allowed to remind all you self-righteous crusaders of stomping out the dirty criminal elements in this world by any means possible… because you all think that once they do anything that offends proprietary agenda based moralities ALL of their rights as citizens should be be BANNED and PREVENTED and MORE! ZERO fucking tolerance policy. Criminal FREE Zones everywhere we go! …that there, for the fucking grace of God, go YOU, asshole, or your son or daughter or friend or relative. Because what part of Mental Illness, among other situations, is NOT a crime, doesn’t anyone get, yet? !

One of the great mysteries of my life is how so few managed to violate the sacrosanct liberty of the 2/A so easily with the ’68 GCA, right under the noses of so many gullible people who let them get away with it, and will now be a direct victim of it.

This Wastrel Wisconsin Wench is nothing but a Despotic Cu__-Bit__Communist control freak and should be impeached or at least re-called for violating her oath to protect the Constitution and/or treasonous intentional subversion of the Law of The Land. Wisconsin is a neighboring state and i know a lot of Veterans there from past Wounded Warrior work i did with them and I’m heading out this Weekend to proactively see if we can start momentum for a group of Patriots to stage a protest at the Capital in Madison with slung and shouldered ARs/AKs (as open C is legal) Hopefully to include Vets, Oath Keepers, and patriot LEOs. I’m waiting to see what Milwaukee Sheriff Clarke has to say about this. I’ll contact the VFWs I can with a heads up.

The problem is these snake legislators plan and scheme and plot well beforehand, in secret, on Our tax dime time clock and then at the opportune moment-like when they think they have enough pre-worked support, slip in these treasonous bills, while the rest of the legislature is too busy worrying about the College playoffs or some such population mind control distractions… You won’t believe what else Kalifornia is going to do and what latest Federal House bills are being introduced by the traitors. (I’m doing a piece later this month for the Survivopedia website on exactly their culminating agenda and how they will facilitate in one shocking combination maneuver\ all out gun restriction and confiscation as soon as Hillary gets in if she wins, if anybody’s interested).

Okay, we all talked about it enough and It’s over people, unless we physically counter attack NOW by ‘urging’– with severe prejudice– our feckless representatives to start one-upping these Confiscation Bills by introducing counter-legislature to make ALL future arbitrary anti-2/A (and 4/A while we’re at it) statutes illegal, and subsequent repeal and nullification of ALL current NFA legislation. Period. Otherwise sooner or later we’ll all wake up one morning–usually around 4am, with a quick token knock, knock, immediately followed by a flash, a bang, and…poof, we’re totaly disarmed!

The other thing is that Australia’s NFA is not a valid comparison to our country nor valid argument for confiscation and disarmament. Au’s demographics and national cultural mentality were pre-conditioned to an absence of open liberty for all. They effectively had a type of ‘police state’ even before their mass gun confiscation effort. And I know people in AU and the government is ‘cooking the stat books’ on crime. Total gun control is really not working well at all there. And of course, England can’t even cover up anymore the failure of their increasing crime problem despite Hitlarian disarmament laws which as many predicted simply put the dangerous disadvantage on the people while barely affecting gun availability to determined criminals. And the rest of the ‘domestic citizenry’ still kills each other effectively enough with blades or other weapons to keep their crime rate spiraling out of control.

And yes, James, our general American Apathy and Procrastination disease needs a huge shot in the ass of anti-lethargy-biotics or more specifically a size 12 boot-ster shot in the ass helping them to realize the only true reason America is Exceptional is because we are the only country that allows their citizens to be well armed and…free.

Which I’m continuing to do this morning by beginning with writing a couple more physical letters( they block my emails these days) with Purple Heart stamps to my Reps inquiring as to their mental capacity and therefore their ability to not be able to do the ‘job’ we hired them for which is to uphold the Constitution by fighting against seditious colleagues who are determined to conveniently make all Patriot Americans who own 2/A firearms into criminals who are then punished forever by illegal confiscation oriented laws!

    Here I go…

  • Timothy B. November 13, 2015, 7:34 am

James M is right. We don’t have to shoot our useless politicians dead, we need to organize like the unions of old, like the communists and closet communists are doing now in this country. We need to cause gridlock in this country by going to Washington and throwing the bums out like they did in the Ukraine a year ago. Burn tires and cause anarchy in the city, and pitch tents and camp out until all the vermin are gone. There is something to learn from the communist and black movements in this country. This country does not have a stomach for war within our borders, the police cannot do their job without cameras and condemnation, and the military will support us, all you have to deal with is the IRS army, and possibly another home defense army? People talk about taking our country back? From what and from whom? The targets are there for the taking, all we are missing is the leadership and resolve to take out country back.

    • Tom November 13, 2015, 11:19 am

Yes, the military will probably support us now, but Obama wants a one world religious/political govt. and military.. Soon that will happen. It’s called the Beast in Revelations, and it will make a national Sunday worship law, and is headed by the Roman papacy, the Pope. Return of the Dark Ages. Religious persecution.. 13 of our former presidents were 33 degree Free Masons, which is Satan worship.. It’s all designed to lead to the Beast since 1798..

  • David Heath November 13, 2015, 7:24 am

If we don’t get our act together and standup together as a Nation of Liberty Loving Americans, and Restore our Great Republic today, not tomorrow, then I’m afraid we’re too late. Most of the Generation behind us older Americans I don’t believe will stand up and fight for the Constitution, the Bill of Rights, or what’s left of our once Great Republic we called America. What we need is a leader that will stand up and take the call to organize, and call to Arms the Patriots of Today. We need to organize a March on Washington D.C. and Forcibly Remove these Miscreants from Office that would undermine our Rights to Freedom. But the Underlying problem we face, is we don’t have that Leader, that one Person with the Morale Backbone, like a George Washington, or one of the Many great men of our past who gave up their Lives, their Freedoms and their Fortunes to save this Country from the British. I feel very sad for our Children and Grand Children, and worry about what kind of Country they will inherit from us. If we don’t band together now, and stop these Politicians who are hell bent on destroying our Republic and the Constitution that it was founded on, then it’s too late.

  • James M. November 12, 2015, 9:59 am

Oh, but wait, the next generation will fix our wrongdoing. You know, our sons and daughters that will see the spineless, boneless blobs that we are. Hopefully they will bring change. Cause we all know a diseased tree puts off strong roots.

    • Ketchum Kenny November 13, 2015, 7:58 am

The next generation will fix it? Yea right. Seen what’s going on at college campuses lately (University of Missouri comes to kind). You best be prepared and ready to fight your own battles and not wait for the next generation unless you can win a fight by throwing a ‘smart’ phone at somebody.

      • Dave Hicks November 13, 2015, 10:24 am

I agree and I hate my smart phone ,stupid smart phone.

  • James M. November 12, 2015, 9:56 am

Unfortunately in this country, at the present, our leaders/politicians do what they want. It is nothing for them to go behind closed doors and passionate legislation that had been kept secret. To also pass laws that are kept secret. Hell, how do we know that one of the many Obama signed this year aren’t banning firearms? When laws are written, and kept secret? Baffles me. Especially when every American is waiting for this country to fall before they stand up. Sorry. But when this ship sinks its gone. Why are we all biding time when NOW IS THE TIME. Now before this country is thrown back to the dark ages. Before everyone is on their own. If this country falls before we take it back we will have to fight the rest of the world for what is ours. And preppers. This really gets me. Yeah it’s good to prep. But the whole ideology of prepping is singular. Thinking only of ourselves. Oh but I will live in a cave until someone else fixes everything. Ludicrous. Selfish. Absurd. Washington was not a prepper, he was a PATRIOT. He didn’t hid in the basement eating MRE’S while flipping the dials of a radio. This country, and all of us in it will get our just desserts. Prepping is just taking everyone’s eyes off of doing what WE ALL KNOW IS RIGHT. Stand up, speak your voice, and FIGHT for what are your basic human rights. Sitting on our Asses putting back toilet paper is what they want us to do. Spend more money on what you don’t need, stay busy, and let them run over us as a whole. Washington would probably call us all out on being the biggest group of MAN pansies this country has ever seen. Honestly serves us all right. We the weak will loose, they the strong will survive.

    • Bigmag November 13, 2015, 6:25 am

Some of what you say I believe is correct, but this “prepper” thing….your dead wrong! We cannot control what our neighbors do. We CAN be involved in trying to change things however, but that only goes so far. What have you done to stop our over zealous politicians? You can`t just go out and shoot `em dead. But back to prepping. You can get your community involved, and help them realize they cannot depend on the govt. Next to that, being personally responsible for your existence is completely YOURS! There is nothing wrong with stocking up on TP or anything else you will need when our society breaks down. Next your going to say stocking up on guns and ammo is stupid. I`m sure there is better than 10 million people out there that will disagree with you on that one. No my friend, stocking up on supplies for an emergency as large as civil demise is only wise. To say any less is moronic.

      • Tom Horn November 13, 2015, 8:10 am

Prepping just means, being prepared. Washington, and all the Patriots were, “preppers,” preparing first for the time when they would have to act. If you love Liberty and Freedom you should prepare yourself for the time when you must defend it. We are all militia and Minute Men in the protection of our Constitution.

    • Eric Kevitt November 13, 2015, 11:29 am

I also thought that the president would honor what he said, now granted, there has been an uptick in frequency of shootings than what was previously “normal ” , if such a thing exists, that garner the media’s incessant coverage. THAT SAID,.. I really wish the WE would stop all the rhetoric and name calling, on both sides of the political spectrum ,… on the radio, news internet, TV, personal conversations and even in print. It’s not that we don’t have the right or freedom to do so, we do ! The question is , Is it in the best interest to do so on such a consistent level? It is MY personal belief that the rise in frequency of “mass shootings” s primarily caused but not limited to the Rise In Tension and Divisive-Rhetoric in our Daily Language and Conversation . This constant dialogue that involves heated debate, name calling and divisive language, IE; I’ve seen many times where people say things like,..”your just anti-American, or “you don’t believe in freedom””libtard””commie” or “Right winger” or “Tea Baggin _ _ _” “M.F.’er” ,.. How dare someone say that to another person,.. and just for having an opinion different from ours ?? we shouldn’t !! The point is, In time this works on the psyche of those with mental instabilities, and they may very well be mentally ill, and brings them to the tipping point and pushes them over the edge where they loose control of their anger and emotions at a larger than normal rate. So,.. that’s is the basis of what I think a larger problem is. GUN Control wont fix or change anything. Restrictions wont change a thing either. I personally don’t have a problem doing the current B.G. checks and wouldn’t have a problem if that is enlarged to cover anyone or thing that sells more than 50 guns per year like gun show booths. However, any “comprehensive mental health reform won’t likely occur either. For example,.. will the people who need help, actually go get it if they know they are to be put on a list for background checks,..? You see where this is going fast. But, we can change the larger portion of how we interact and converse with each other. If we do this right, message our goal and form a better dialogue, it will eventually , in turn, affect the rate of people that some say ,..”Go Off The Deep End” .. So lets form our narrative in a decent manner, and engage in conversations with people that have differing mindsets, all while sharing what we think will turn the tide of gun violence and domestic terrorism, and still defending the right to keep, use, and buy the types of firearms that we currently have and enjoy for various reasons… I hope this comes across in the way in which I intend to portray it. Thanks for reading,.. Eric Kevitt ,..AKA PoormanPrepper

The gun confiscation task force has existed in Los Angeles for years, as a division of the LAPD. If your name- as a gun owner- comes to their attention for any reason they have been known to trump up some form of “probable cause” and do a dynamic entry raid on your home. I know personally some individuals who were put through this. One had some My Space pictures with his firearms and some twisted do-gooder reported him to law enforcement. Another got his name in their files due to a technical violation by a different gun owner who had purchased a gun from the first individual, and the dealer transaction between them gave LAPD another name to go after. They filled the affidavit with gross misstatements of fact and law, but it was enough to get a judge to sign off and turn this fellow’s life upside down for years. There are stories like this all over the USA. So no one can tell me that gun confiscation isn’t the goal of most anti-gun folks, whether or not they admit it.

    • John Compatore November 13, 2015, 4:34 pm

My Lord, SH Blannelberry! Yes, we all seemed to have sniffed this bum out long before you – like when he locked away and out of sight his past! Didn’t that say anything to you? Hello? Remember People, that the LAW (2A) is on OUR side. This is not some far away border that we can’t touch. This issue rests in our safes and storage cabinets, and in our hands. We need to refuse all firearm reduction efforts regardless of what POTUS, the Congress and SCOTUS may say or do. Ladies and Gents, this is the start of the Second American Revolution. Read the papers of the Founders – they gave us gun rights SPECIFICALLY to prevent them, our very own government, from crushing us. Aren’t you feeling crushed lately? Here are a few mottos to live by: “Cold dead hands” and “Bring it, Barry.”
