For the first time in its storied history, Rock River Arms has tossed its hat into the bolt-gun arena, and all signs point a winner. The Rock Bolt Gun RGB65C1000CT  Series showcases an airy look, compliments of the fully adjustable KRG chassis. A sizable recoil pad paired with the rifle’s 10.2-pound weight rating eliminates post-shot shoulder abuse, and the TriggerTech Trigger will surely be favored by those that wrap a finger around this new-for-2020 rifle. The trigger design is long and features a curved design that promotes a solid feel.

The TriggerTech trigger showcases a long, curved design that promotes a zero-creep, consistent pull.

The action is a Rock River proprietary short action, and the 20-inch Wilson barrel is fluted to cut down on weight while increasing surface area. In addition, the Air Gauged, Cryo-Treated barrel sports a 1:10 twist rate and features 5/8-24 threading. The rifle’s forearm is fitted with multiple accessory attachment points, and the bolt handle is a knurled oversized model.

The rifle’s forearm features multiple accessory attachment points.

Fitted with a 20 MOA Base, the Picatinny Rail will compensate for bullet drop and allow for maximum scope adjustments. The magazine is a detachable box mag and is AICS and MagPul compatible. Measuring 40-inches long, the rifle was designed for long-range sub MOA tack driving. Currently, the RBG Series is offered in 6.5 Creedmoor.

The 20 MOA Base will compensate for bullet drop as well as allow for maximum scope adjustment.

The rifle comes in colors of Tan, Black and Green and is branded with an MSRP of $4,150. Availability, according to Rock River has yet to be determined.

The KRG chassis are fully adjustable and give the series a racy appeal that can’t be ignored.

Wow just what we need – another long range chassis gun. A Wilson barrel on a $4K + gun??? Why not a quality barrel, especially at this price point??

Tossed its hat into the bolt-gun arena or adjusting its manufacturing to comply with anticipated gun legislation?
