ABC’s “The View” co-host Joy Behar gave some advice this week to her lefty pals running for office. Basically, Keep your gun-grabbing agenda on the DL when you’re campaigning. Only call for the confiscation squads after you’ve been elected.
The topic of national gun confiscation came up when the women were discussing the demise of presidential hopeful Beto O’Rourke, who bowed out of the race last Friday. Beto, arguably the wokest candidate on gun control, vowed to seize modern sporting rifles if elected.
“Hell, yes, we’re going to take your AR-15, your AK-47. We’re not going to allow it to be used against our fellow Americans anymore,” the former Texas congressman said during an ABC News presidential debate in September.
Behar suggested that this was an unforced error, you know, telling voters the truth about his intention to dismantle the 2A.

“They should not tell everything they’re going to do. If you’re going to take people’s guns away, wait until you get elected — then take the guns away,” she said, cracking a smile. “Don’t tell them ahead of time.”
Right-leaning co-host Meghan McCain also shared her opinion on Beto’s mandatory buyback scheme and its effect on the electorate, noting that even people within his own party thought it was too extreme to be feasible.
“I will also say that his stance on gun buybacks — Mayor Pete said it was a shiny object that distracts from achievable gun reform,” explained McCain. “That clip [Hell, yes, we’re going to take your AR-15…] will be played for years… with organizations that try and scare people by saying that Democrats are coming for your guns.
“[Beto] also made some statements about religious institutions getting their tax-exempt status removed from them because they didn’t support same-sex marriage,” McCain continued. “He did a lot of, like, battleground culture war, and he ran as the most left, most woke candidate and look where he ended.”
Gun owners aren’t stupid. Most of us recognize that politicians lie and that any candidate with a (D) in front of their name is likely to support disarming America. Heck, even some candidates with an (R) in front of their name would likely do the same if they had their druthers.
So, whether they tell us they are or tell us they aren’t, it doesn’t make much of a difference. We know the truth. They are most certainly coming for our guns. The problem for gun owners is can we convince enough people to care that it’s happening. Because the truth is pervasive apathy will kill the 2A long before politicians do.
I suppose, if I had one wish pertaining to Joy Behar, it would be that her father’s pull-out game had been much, much stronger.
Ok, now anyone who doesn’t think the statement about religious organizations, tax status and same sex marriage ISN’T a Fascist move is just plain stupid.
Based on that, where does it stop?
When someone uses the Govt. to threaten and change the thinking, actions or beliefs of ANY person or organization, that really is fascist.
That, Ladies and Gentlemen (and other statements she has made), is why I believe this female is indeed, stupid. And truly a fascist.
It’s sad to see just how many Americans are willing to dismantle the foundation that made this country.

The Left’s facade now boldy even exposed by the left (Joy). Other than obvious fellow conservative gun owners on this site, my first fact to Left/Prog/SJWs is to point out that “most” Americans in everyday life do not even see black rifles, or hi-capacity clip-fed rifles on a daily basis, especially all the MILLIONS & MILLIONS that are privately owned. Any act by some lunatic with a gun is not even to be discussed when talking about law-abiding citizen’s right, from Day 1 of the Constitution. That IS the law of the land. And its NOT about hunting. You dont “bear arms” against a deer. Bear arms has an entirely different connotation than sporting/hunting guns/weapons. Its about not allowing a tyrannical govt to take over. They can’t become tyrants if people can resist effectively. So they must take the guns somehow. The Founding Fathers really and truly tried to safeguard against all of this, but just look at these stupid antiAmerican termites coming out of the woodwork now. Rome fell from internal rot! The US form of govt was PROVEN, yet we have to be dragged, kicking & screaming towards socialism? Communism? Suddenly a few such individuals are seeing themselves as smarter than all the rest of us? Take our guns so they can become our masters? The first fools to vote for those Prog/Libs are the generation that cant do anything for themselves, thrown in the towel on their own ingenuity & resourcefulness, and want the freakin’ govt handout. So their own American spirit is out the window, like Bernie’s was even in the ‘50s. So of course such a mass of “useful idiots” will vote in the Lib/Progs. The self-destruction has already begun: how mad should we be at Ilhan Omar & AOC, when it’s their bizarrely stupid electorate that voted them in? Unless Americans realize whats at stake, those 2 are only the tip of the iceberg. I personally will support true 1776 founding ideals til my dying day. People forget what world history teaches, over & over again. Why don’t the politicians and police who will be tasked with “taking guns” start by taking the guns away from the criminals? That’ll make a food practice run for them. Meanwhile we lawfully armed citizens can back up the police when the criminals start to fight back.

Progressives are all the same. They never change, even across generations. The ‘progressives’ , the self-appointed messiahs of the last century saddled us with the Federal Reserve, the 16th Amendment starting income taxes, started both drug and alcohol prohibitions, etc. In short, for all the best of reasons (as they see them) they make the worst things happen.

Having a right to speak does not mean that everybody should speak. Her opinion about guns is her own, and we recognize the fallacy of her point, but she doesn’t.
If you think you can take a gun-owners gun when you expect him to not be watching, you could easily become dead, leaking from bullet holes. Nobody familiar with guns would take such a risk.
Behar is a New Yawker, and they only see guns when somebody is trying to rob them or they see it on TV. They are not hunters, nor do they have any appreciation for the outdoor life.

Joy Behar has a right to attack anything or anybody she wants, but common sense people have a right to tell her they don’t want to hear from her just as well. No, I am not her fan. I don’t watch her show. She is almost as funny as Kathy Griffin.
Beto claimed he owned firearms that he inherited and are in some wat broken down. He should have been pressed for more details including if he had ever been through a “background check.”
Ha, Beto admitting he owned guns that were “broken down” or in a state of disrepair likely raises safety concerns. Thus, he has admitted to being an irresponsible gun owner!
