Ka-Bar Jarosz Line: Affordable, Combat-Ready Knives — Blade Show 2016

When I think of Ka-Bar, what immediately comes to mind is combat-ready knives at budget prices.  In terms of value, i.e., best bang for your buck, it’s tough to find a better deal than a Ka-Bar knife.

At Blade Show 2016, that tradition continues with the introduction of the Jarosz line of knives.  Named after the designer Jesse Jarosz, these are all-purpose knives that were made for the brave men and women serving overseas.  Of course, just because these knives were born and bred for the military doesn’t mean they’re not ideal for campers, hikers, hunters, and outdoorsman of all varieties.

Looking at the knives, the Turok is the biggest of the bunch. It is a rugged 11.5-inch, fixed-blade with a drop-point design that comes with a MOLLE-compatible Celcon sheath.  Next is the Globetrotter, which is basically a smaller version of the Turok.  It comes with a nylon sheath.  Bringing up the rear is a skeletonized neck knife known as the Rambler.   Specs and pricing are below.

All in all, pretty cool stuff.  I especially like the price point on that rambler.  For $12, it’s a must buy.  Right?
