Joe Biden has picked Kamala Harris as his 2020 running mate.
Actually, it’s probably more accurate to say that Biden’s DNC handlers gave the California senator the nod because Sleepy Joe is most likely off eating pudding and playing checkers while watching reruns of “Columbo.”
All joking aside, now that she could potentially be the next vice president — heck, maybe even the next POTUS! — let’s take a look at her views on guns.
Before she was beat out by Mr. Biden and was actively pursuing the Democratic nomination, she published on her website, KamalaHarris.org, five key policy measures that she would implement via “executive action” if “Congress fails to send comprehensive gun safety legislation” to the president’s desk within the first 100 days of the new regime.
- Mandate near-universal background checks by requiring anyone who sells five or more guns a year to conduct background checks on all gun sales.
- Revoke the licenses of gun manufacturers who break the law (including negligence laws and unfair trade practices) and take them to court if need be.
- Reverse Trump’s dangerous change to prohibited persons guidelines which has allowed thousands of fugitives with outstanding arrest warrants to buy guns.
- Close the “boyfriend loophole” to prevent dating partners convicted of domestic violence from purchasing guns.
- Ban AR-15-style assault weapons from being imported into the United States.
As a caveat, she also promised to reinstitute the Clinton-era “assault weapons” ban, prohibit “high capacity magazines” and open up gun dealers and manufacturers to frivolous lawsuits by rescinding the PLCCA.

Given all this, it’s rather obvious why the Bloomberg-funded Everytown for Gun Safety was overjoyed when Biden put Harris on the ticket.
“Vice President Biden and Senator Harris will be the strongest gun safety ticket in American history, which speaks volumes about how quickly the political calculus has shifted away from the gun lobby and toward common-sense gun laws,” said John Feinblatt, president of Everytown for Gun Safety in a press release obtained by GunsAmerica.
Shannon Watts, the founder of Moms Demand Action, a grassroots arm of Everytown, echoed the cheer.
“Vice President Biden and Senator Harris are poised to make history this November,” said Shannon Watts, founder of Moms Demand Action. “There is no doubt this will be the strongest gun safety ticket ever, and when we elect Vice President Biden as president and Senator Harris as his vice president, Americans will be safer.”
Instituting sweeping gun-control reform via executive fiat, vis a vis Canada and New Zealand, is the Kamala Harris way. That’s what we have to look forward to if Biden and Harris win in November.
Make no mistake about it — they are coming for our guns. Saying that is not fear porn. It’s fact! And it is written plain as day for all to see.
I’ll be switching my party and vote to Biden. Trump is too narcissistic and will only praise those who line his pockets and those that follow him are like pigs to the slaughter house. There’s more at stake in saving this country than guns. No President has the power to take away our 2A rights and that’s a fight for all of us to protect no matter which party. If someone else in the Republic party like Mitt would run he would have my vote. I retired after 24 years in the Army. I took an oath to Defend our Constitution against all enemies, foreign and domestic. I did not take an oath to the Republican Party or to the President (officers swear to uphold the Constitution, whereas enlisted swear to follow the orders of the officers appointed over them and the President). I will always maintain my dedication to that oath. I served under 4 presidents and never deviated from that oath. I am a registered republican, though in reality, I am more of a centrist. I do not personally like President Trump, but he has done a great job (other than his prolific Twitter use and so many unneeded comments and unwarranted negative remarks). However, there are so many idiotic leftist ideas running rampant that I could never vote for a democrat. I am not swayed by religion, but rather by realism and facts. Facts that are twisted by both sides of the aisle to the extent that they are no longer recognizable as “facts.” I will again vote for President Trump, based on the very real fact that the democrapic candidates are well and truly corrupt and completely untrustworthy (as was their last candidate, who should have been prosecuted for breaches of security). Biden is, well, if you cannot see it, you need help. Harris…. a truly dishonest lawyer who prosecuted marijuana users to boost her stats as a prosecutor while ignoring the much harder to prosecute “white collar crimes” that would have lost her huge campaign contributions. I do hate hearing talk about ‘civil war’ and ‘revolution,’ but, if we are to discuss it, let us at least be realistic about it. Here are a few incontestable facts that must be considered by any field commander in assessing his opposition:
1. It is irrational to assume that all US Forces and personnel therein would suborn martial action against their own kith and kin. Therefore, even the full power of the military cannot be counted on to oppose insurrection. In addition, there is little evidence that the military supports those who would deploy them to do so.
2. There are some 90 million households (and over 150 million citizens) in the US in possession of over 400 million firearms, the vast majority of which are ballistically superior to those in military use (i.e. a 30-06 cartridge is ballistically more powerful than any small arms cartridge in current use).
3. The military and every law enforcement agency in the US, together, cannot field more than 3.4 million combatants; leaving them out-numbered more than 62 to 1. This being the case, even US military force-multipliers cannot overcome this—particularly using Afghanistan and Iraq as models. Many of those force-multipliers cannot be deployed in-continent without substantial collateral damage – which will largely preclude their use.
4. Most military equipment in-country resides in easy access to any large, organized militant force that wants to seize it. Many cadre who would be employed to protect it are deployed elsewhere and redeployment is costly and foments logistical problems of its own.
5. One inevitability almost no one talks about is the inescapable probability that a US government, led by communist politicians willing to suborn it, will inevitably have to ask for outside troops to help quell internal strife—an eventuality that places the American Military in a very precarious position. (Go back and research all the American Territory Bill Clinton gave NATO and the UN access to, circa 1995 onward.)
These are facts which must be addressed before any so-called ‘valid’ discussions can be had…just saying….

If these 2 Demonrats are elected then I have a very strong suspicion that we will see a second civil war in this country. I will not give up my rights for any reason.
