Korwin: Memo to Gun Ban Movement - Infringement Is Illegal!

Alan Korwin, visit his website GunLaws.com.

Calls to outlaw guns, gun possession, accessories and similar wild-eyed notions now percolating through a portion of our youth and culture are… illegal.

So called “news” media, involved in whipping up the public and unsuspecting youngsters into a frenzy to ban gun types, gun parts, all guns, and places where people can have guns for all legal purposes — like defense against murderers — are an affront to our society and our Constitution. When did teachers lose their right to keep and bear arms exactly? The guarantees of The U.S. Bill of Rights can just be… lost?

People are saying the horrific events of the recent past could never have happened if our rights weren’t somehow squelched in the first place.

Unless you decide to give up on the rule of law, and simply enact anything by mob rule, guns can’t simply be banned, as television is campaigning for. People could begin a new country based on utopian socialist rule with no leadership, no charter, and the will of the people simply expressed day-to-day by vote, that’s conceivable. But America cannot legitimately ban guns already in the public’s hands by passing laws, to appease loud children.

We get that the kids are scared, and should be, they’ve been let down. That doesn’t erase the rule of law.

If stopping crazed, psychotic mass murderers who take it on themselves to spree murder their classmates is the goal, that’s a good goal.

Loud youngsters who think disarming the public will somehow accomplish that goal are not mature enough to understand that first, — it won’t work, and second, the adults egging them on in the media and politics are manipulative SOBs worse than their worst parents.

SEE ALSO: Korwin: So Why Not Register Guns? Here’s Why Not!

Those adults are using what amounts to a national tantrum to accomplish the adults’ goal — not the children’s goal. The so-called “news” media has disguised or totally hidden this revealing truth. Journalists have become virtually as much an enemy of the nation’s health as the murderers themselves. That’s a hard thing to say, as a journalist myself.

Here’s a secret. Everyone wants to stop sociopathic students from murdering their classmates at school. It shouldn’t be a secret. The hated NRA wants to stop that. Do you really think they’re devils who want their own kids at that kind of risk? If you do, you’ve been sold a bill of goods. Remember the secret — Everyone wants to stop sociopathic students from murdering their classmates at school.

Here’s the bottom line. Banning a firearm a person already owns is infringement, simply by definition. Doing that is banned in America, it’s why we’re the linchpin of freedom on the planet. It’s why oppressed masses flock here, and always have, though schools no longer teach this. They used to, when America was at its peak.

Attempting to take such a firearm away — government confiscation of the public’s guns is aggravated infringement, felony-level criminal activity. It is exactly what government cannot legitimately do. It’s where peaceful rule of law ends and tyranny begins: gun-taking. Gun-taking kindles revolts, around the world, and if it goes too far, it could happen here. Disarming the innocent doesn’t set well with the innocent. The reverse is true too — you can’t arm slaves and expect them to remain slaves.

SEE ALSO: Korwin: Disarm Annoying People – Enacted!

State by state, we are going to see an effort to put aggravated infringement into statute so offending officials can be charged and imprisoned if they attempt to infringe on this fundamental constitutional right. Banning guns is on the same par as banning gays, blacks, speech, Bibles — you just can’t do that here.

Korwin: Memo to Gun Ban Movement - Infringement Is Illegal!

Infringement is illegal. Someone should tell these kids. (Photo: CNN)

It doesn’t matter how many votes you can manipulate or cajole with phony logic. “Majority rules, minority protected,” you remember that, right? It means you can’t strip the Bill of Rights with a legislative vote.

People who do so or attempt to do so need to be subject to defined penalties. Like any other civil and human rights violation. We actually have 18 USC §241, and 18 USC §242 for this, they just need some backup, and enforcement (q.v., denial of constitutional or statutory rights is a crime). Read those short, crystalline statutes.

The noise level is rising to a dangerous pitch. Attempting to disarm the public is what has, throughout history, led to either revolution or genocide. Americans want neither. The loud children want neither either, they just don’t know it. They know not what they do, and their handlers are keeping them quietly in the dark.

The Andersons and Wolves are incomprehensibly keeping them ignorant, and maybe they are themselves. I’m reluctant to join my colleagues who see it for an evil agenda, and the markings could easily be read that way. At the least the mass media culprits should lose their licenses to broadcast. Oh, that’s right—they are unlicensed operators.

Banning guns already in the public’s hands is infringement. Attempting to take an infringed item is aggravated infringement. Attempting to take an infringed item is where chilling phrases like, “Bullets first!” and “From my cold dead fingers!” arise. This country does not want to go there. Someone tell the kids.

When they keep pushing on the left for war basically on the right at some point a few may take upon themselves to deal with politicians, hollywood and left wing commies and then they will cry foul, only anti-fa idiots should be able to commit violence without repercussions, I will die for my beliefs what about you?,

  • Damon April 21, 2018, 10:31 pm

I really am ready. I do not want to sound like a moron, or someone who wishes hate or evil on anyone else. My anger is coming from the hate, evil, and anger that will come upon us all if they do remove our RIGHT to bear arms. And I know that most all legal gun owners in America are the same people who keep this country going everyday, we are not the ones who find Pride taking government handouts, we are the ones who get up and work every single day even if it doesn’t always makes sense because much more of our check goes to the people who won’t get up and work and stand up for what is right, it’s often quite the opposite you are creating more problems for us as we try to take care of you, yet they are the ones crying the most for the rules to change for them. Those who bite the hands that feed them. And you have backed the dog into a corner for far too long and it’s now time the dog seeks his vengeance

    • ejharb April 28, 2018, 5:28 pm

      Sadly agree.
We don’t want this deep in our hearts.but it is forced on us.
I won’t be chained I won’t be cleansed not without lethal resistance.leave me be.

  • Jay April 14, 2018, 2:34 pm

First off, the violence won’t end unless it’s cut off at the roots. Kids being doped up with drugs that promote thoughts of murder and suicide, I’m not talking the street drugs here but the stuff the schools are doling out… Video games that are nothing more than practice for mass murder with scores counted in “lives.” They defend those video games and deny they have any responsibility but the comparison is obvious and should be undeniable unless of course, it is producing desired results. The lib-tards will spare no expense to bring down this nation whether the price is dollars or lives that children are constantly told are cheap. The lessons of history tell us exactly what is happening and what comes next is plainly writ. See Russia in the teens of the 20th century and Berlin in the 1930s. Rally the schools, give the masses something to hate and rally against, that target being us with the added benefit of taking the tools that would provide some degree of resistance. Take control of information sources and use it against any and all comers. With all this, they need not “take” anything. The masses will come crawling on their knees begging for chains to be put upon their necks. Their will be to few of those ready to resist, too scattered and for the most part unorganized. Many who might think they have a gun or knife (England is going after those now) will find themselves ratted out by their own public school drugged and indoctrinated children.
We home schooled ours. I determined that the day I corrected a son about something taught at school and heard from my (then) 8 year old, “Yeah but, my teacher said…” It was clear whose authority was uppermost in his young mind and we were NOT about to let that continue.
Another thing is the demasculinizing of our sons. That combined with all of the above still leaves a male child with natural aggressiveness inbred but denied of safe outlet. But, it will find a way. Remove moral restrictions (religious moral codes) and with inhibition dampening drugs and you have an animal (for at our core is what we all are) with no strong deterent against committing violence upon others.
Heck, enough is too much. end of rant!

  • Z April 12, 2018, 10:50 pm

I agree with much of the article but there are a few points that need to be addressed.
1.) The opposite of disarming the innocent would be arming criminals, not slaves.
2.) If the laws of this nation are followed and the constitution is amended to alter or abolish the 2nd amendment, it would be lawful and legally enforceable. That’s a legitimate concern.
3.) Writing into law a prohibition of the ownership of an item is not equivocal to prohibiting the existence of a person or persons.

The Constitution provides that an amendment may be proposed either by the Congress with a two-thirds majority vote in both the House of Representatives and the Senate or by a constitutional convention called for by two-thirds of the State legislatures. That’s incredibly unlikely.

States rights are grounded in the United States Constitution under the 10th Amendment to the United States Constitution. The 10th Amendment states that “the powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.

That means the states have leeway in determining their own laws so long as they don’t usurp the powers delegated to the government. Legislators regulated firearms with the NFA of 1934, altered in 1968 with the Hughes Ammendment. The amendment was part of a larger act called the Firearm Owners Protection Act (FOPA). The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms (BATF) interpreted the Hughes Amendment as a prohibition on the civilian possession of any fully-automatic firearm manufactured after May 19, 1986.

Hopefully you’ll take a few minutes to consider the implication of voter sentiment and the need to win people over rather than alienate them. After all, nothing quite makes the general populace feel like people should own whatever sort of firearm they want, like talk of armed revolt over regulation.

    • Damon April 21, 2018, 10:38 pm

Z, even if the liberal-left were capable of conjuring up and manipulating the voting system to get the legislation passed it doesn’t mean just because you had the votes even of the people that it passes it then still has to have two-thirds Senate approval and majority approval from 37 States as well and it’s almost written to where you do not remove any right from the Constitution without it being near impossible and very difficult. So there is a lot more to it than just simply putting out a vote that you guys are winking at each other because of the voter fraud that lies within your party, knowing that the liberal have the numbers due to the propaganda of the media we are not as simple minded as the Liberals have fooled themselves into believing we are. Just because the liberal media Giants own mass % ‘s of the squaq box does not mean that everyone buys the bullshit that continues to roll out of the mouths of idiots

    • ejharb April 28, 2018, 5:40 pm

If your human rights are granted by man you are right.
My human right to self defense comes from my creator as set forth in his word and as aknowledged in his creation.(eg,animal teeth and claws etc.)
The us constitution states in the 2nd amendment the government shall not infringe that right! And as long as I’m not using it in crime leave me be!

  • MJ April 8, 2018, 10:03 pm

In California, the state continues to systematically eliminate/infringe guns under the guise of safety. This slight of hand for instance has removed from commerce every Colt handgun with very few exceptions. A person could purchase from a private party a forbidden list weapon only under those circumstances. But why is it okay to buy from private individuals and not a gun store? Simply put, they’re not abundant, they are way too expensive and hard to find, what a great deterrent. So what about all that safety BS? If it’s not safe for the masses why is it okay for the one? How magnanimous!

Gun confiscation isn’t just about the past, it’s also about the future. The politicians who ignore and disregard our Constitution will continue to be America’s greatest threat.

  • Dean April 8, 2018, 4:23 pm

Exactly the reason they wrote the 2nd amendment and put it into the Constitution is happening right now, right here in 2018’s America. Little by little and piece by piece our rights are being stripped away. Privacy is already a sham. Cameras are installed everywhere under the guise of safety. Websites and social media sites routinely track your activities and say they are just trying to customize your on line experience. Now they want to disarm the citizenry, the law abiding people of this once great country. The foundation is being laid right now for an armed uprising and I say it can’t happen soon enough. Politicians for both major parties are two faced, lying crooks who only care about two things, towing the party line and keeping their seat in Congress. They get elected under the false claims of bringing change and helping get the country back on track then do just the opposite. The media is no longer unbiased and can’t be trusted to report the news fairly and accurately. The stories they air and the way they are reported are done so to advance their left or right leaning agenda. Marches, letter writing, calls to your state representative, crossing your fingers and wishing are not working and are not going to work because nobody is listening anymore and they simply DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOU. Remember the shot heard around the world? Remember the reasons we took up arms against British rule? Remember why we had a civil war? Do you really think these things can’t happen again? They can and they should. We need to hit the restart button on this country before it’s too far gone and unfixable. It may already be.

  • Pat J April 7, 2018, 1:14 pm

What would the Romans do to confiscate weapons? They would come to a man’s house, a suspected weapon-horder, and destroy him, his house, and his beautiful widow’s life and future. All of this done before horrified neighbors, neighbors with their own collections and wives. The Romans understood public relations, and I’m not the only one who has studied their methods.
As far as the military oath to defend the constitution, history is replete with the willingness of the military to butcher its own indigents. Think of MacArthur’s advance on encamped WWI vets at the swamp. I would never discount hysteria or the cost of killing it.

    • Jake April 8, 2018, 7:51 pm

Ask the question… who comes to your home for your guns??
It’s not the political leaders who enacted the law.
It’s your local law enforcement officers…

    • Damon April 21, 2018, 10:10 pm

When you strip away a constitutional right your government Authority no longer has a constitutional value. You are proven to only apply which pieces you feel the need. And let me tell you as someone who most of my family including two of my brothers at this particular time or in the service will be coming home with their brother and going and taking back what is ours and most of the police officers that liberals treated like shit for their own source of amusement or the false fake liberal media to push the propaganda well guess what those guys are coming home to their families 2 who own guns and it’s going to be nothing left but pencil Pusher legislative changing jack-offs with a new falsified document not worth the paper it’s written on. And realizing that the world they knew is about to rain down hell fire and fury upon their ass will do whatever it takes to prove this point to you liberal-minded people who want to push us this time too far. God is my witness I will die and be happy to die rather than living a micro managed world that’s being created for the pussies of this nation today

    • Damon April 21, 2018, 10:12 pm

It is truly comical that you bring up the military for filling a constitutional oath. One that means nothing as soon as you pull the Second Amendment from it. You can take the Constitution from that point on and wipe your ass with it right before we wipe our ass with you

  • Jeff S. April 7, 2018, 9:51 am

Metal detectors keep guns out of my local government buildings and off of planes. Do our children not deserve the same protection as politicians and travelers? Banning anything will not work. Doesn’t the 20 year old single mother have the right to protect herself? Metal detectors are proven to work. Why do I not hear more of this conversation? My two cents. Thank you for your time.

    • Jake April 8, 2018, 7:59 pm

A constant Rotation of 3 to 6 very high level soldiers just walking around maybe drills on the football field of just kickin it. full gear, no bullshit, like one day a month per guy. Shootings won’t EVER happen again. Nobody sees American soldiers and thinks “ oh shit, I bet I can win this fight” they think “ holy fuck! That’s the US military… like fucking black hawks and nukes and shit”

    • ejharb April 28, 2018, 5:52 pm

You need to know why they want to ban guns and confiscate then. It’s NOT for safe schools or public safety.it’s so they can control You.so they can enslave you.and when you become no longer useful they can herd you to your final resting place easier.
When they come to your door they want you cowering in fear.
Not with a weapon in your hand waiting for a shot at them.when you understand this you will prepare and be watchful and ready for their next move.

  • Steve April 6, 2018, 6:14 pm

With the recent mass shootings I can’t help but this this is okay with the liberals that want to take our guns. There is virtually no information on the Las Vegas shooter and the lack of video really makes me wonder who is hiding what. The shooter in the Texas church along with the kid in Florida should never been able to purchase guns. Perhaps these protesters should be carrying signs that say our law enforcement or the FBI has blood on their hands instead of the NRA or legal gun owners. If they want to outlaw guns they will have to remove all video games, movies, TV shows and anything else that shows anyone with or using a gun. But in the end only the criminals will have guns.

  • Tommy Barrios April 6, 2018, 2:29 pm

One of BEST, most well written and thought out articles on the subject I have ever read so far!
This needs to on FOX News and in EVERY major newspaper and periodical!
But the problem is we have a country over run with Communist Progressive Liberals in what I call the Moron Media!

  • Pat Bryan April 6, 2018, 1:01 pm

A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State was a bow to the Slave States who needed citizens pick-up militias to put down slave rebellions, their worst nightmare, and find runaway slaves. That is the proof that all of the 2A bullshit just reveals ignorance of history and the law. Unrestricted travel among the States for all citizens is also a Constitutional Right. But you still need a driver’s licence, registration, insurance and pass a test.

    • Tommy Barrios April 6, 2018, 2:32 pm

      STFU! Communist AZZHOLE!

    • John Weber April 6, 2018, 2:42 pm

Unfortunately, Mr. Bryan, the basis for your argument is faulty. We do not need licenses, registrations, insurance and passing a test to travel, specifically because travel is guaranteed to be unrestricted. It is only the operation of a motor vehicle, which is not protected by the constitution (and is specifically considered to be a privilege) that requires the licensing, insurance and registration. If gun ownership were a privilege, then similar restrictions could apply. However, it is a right, guaranteed by our Constitution, and therefore that right may not be infringed.

  • Harold Greenleaf April 6, 2018, 12:33 pm

Why does the writer continually say “Banning guns already in the public’s hands is infringement?” Does he believe banning future gun sales can be infringed?

  • JungleCogs April 6, 2018, 11:01 am

I am an American. I have the right to bear arms. Your approval is not required.

  • Phil April 6, 2018, 10:29 am

  • Chris Baker April 6, 2018, 10:03 am

2nd Amendment: “A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.”
Requiring a permit is an infringement. Forbidding certain types of weapons is an infringement. Barring weapons from certain areas is an infringement. The Second Amendment IS my concealed carry permit.

If the government requires you to get a permit to carry or to carry concealed, over and above the fact that the second amendment specifically states that you can do both, how can it be a right if you have to ask permission to engage in it?

If the government tells you, you cannot have this weapon or that weapon, or they tell you, you cannot carry any weapons “here” or “there” how has your right to bear the weapon you have a right to have and carry, not been infringed?

Notice also, the second amendment does not specify what type of “arms” you have a right to own and carry. It doesn’t say “firearms”. Why is it illegal to carry swords or flails or switchblades or bows and arrows of whatever type? These are all arms and should be protected just as assiduously as the fight for firearms.

The second amendment right to keep and bear arms has not only been infringed upon, it’s been folded spindled and mutilated to the point that I have to wonder about the people who supposedly support it. I see very few people who actually seem to understand what the words “shall not be infringed” mean.

I’m pretty disgusted with the NRA even though I’m a life member and have been since the 80’s. My disillusionment started when they basically kicked Neal Knox out for actually trying to get them to vigorously defend the actual wording of the second amendment which is pretty clear that ANY government restrictions on arms is unconstitutional.

  • John April 6, 2018, 8:58 am

“I actually believed the GOP was in collusion with the anti-American liberals to destroy America and preserve their financial security.” John Jaklich, you could not have been more correct and know that you are not alone in this thought! I left the party for that reason and still to this date have no confidence in the so called conservative republican party!

  • Ghost April 6, 2018, 7:43 am

This is the infringement our Fore-Fathers were warning us about. The Globalist(Soros types) know the United States cannot be taken unless it’s disarmed. With the amount of Corrupt Politicians we have today it might be possible unless, “We the People take a stand.

    • Charlie BROWN April 6, 2018, 2:59 pm

I am with ya ghost. I don’t want it, but it has become necessary.I could not survive under tyranny. I was born a free man and will die a free man.

  • Nat April 6, 2018, 6:29 am

After the last civil war you banned ex-slaves from having guns; in the sixty’s you banned inner city colored people from having so called “Saturday Night Specials” and y’all didn’t say nothing in support of the 2A for those citizens. Now they coming for your guns; how’s it feel hypocrites. “What you do to the least of mine you do unto yourselves. “

    • Chris Baker April 6, 2018, 9:46 am

Actually they did. I was to young to do anything myself, that being an age when teenagers were not allowed to make policy for the entire country, but I remember the articles in the “gun” and “sporting” type magazines and the urging by them to write to legislators and to join the NRA and support the gun rights. They tried but like today, the news media are controlled by the leftists and the stories seldom get heard by the majority of citizens.

    • JoeUSooner April 6, 2018, 12:22 pm

What is this screwed-up “you” nonsense? The Democrats(!) banned ex-slaves from having guns. The Democrats(!) passed all the Jim Crow laws that subjugated blacks after the Civil War. The Democrats(!) outlawed “Saturday Night Specials.” The Democrats(!) passed the National Firearms Act, and the Assault Weapons Act.

The fact that you liberal clowns slept through your history classes is no excuse for your ignorant (and self-descriptive) accusation about hypocrites.

    • Colonialgirl April 6, 2018, 3:21 pm

      HEY MORON;

ONE of the reasons the NRA was formed was to help PROTECT the RIGHTS of newly freed slaves to own firearms for protection from the DEMOCRATS KKK terrorists; They also moved into promoting FIREARM safety for Adults and for kids (Check out the Eddie Eagle Program)
The Anti-gun people have always been democrats (look at New York) and now socialist/communists who call themselves democrats are trying the same thing that happened in Germany under Hitler, Russia under Stalin, China under Mao, Cambodia under Pol Pot, Cuba under Castro and “Che” and several other south American countries.
GO learn the TRUTH and facts before spewing.

    • Damon April 21, 2018, 10:20 pm

Tell me NAT, since you’re being hypocritical and talking shit about us what the hell have you ever done that’s proved that you should even have a point to talk about the Second Amendment? Matter of fact I’m bending your right to your first amendment so shut up. Your first amendment means no more than my second amendment I can promise you at least from my point of view. ? You are talking about removing the entire nations 2nd Amendment right and you’re going to call us Hypocrites it’s manipulative pieces of shit like you who agg on a fight they cannot win. You’re nothing but a mere coward who would talk shit via a keyboard but wouldn’t stand up for their own blood if it meant personally getting hurt yourself.

    • ejharb April 28, 2018, 6:01 pm

I did nothing of the sort nat!
But if you think I did and want to do something about it then bring it.I never enslaved or harmed anyone and while I don’t ever see enslaving anyone in my future I will defend myself and mine.

    • Chris Baker April 6, 2018, 9:49 am

It’s actually George Soros and Media Matters. The money trail to pay for all those signs and all the publicity to get them started came directly from him. He’s doing to America what he did to several countries in Eastern Europe.

    • Zupglick April 6, 2018, 10:02 am

At the end of the cold war, when the Soviet Union “fell”, it was shown from the KGB’s own files that America’s educational system had been infiltrated since the early ’60s. Where do you think the anti-war movement started? Where do you think the liberal movement started? We have let our own education system brainwash our children. WAKE UP AMERICA!

  • Donald L. Cline April 5, 2018, 12:58 am

Aside from the Civil Rights Act, which you cited, there is also State laws against Perjury. I see no reason why elected officials who legislate or execute color of law in violation of the Constitution should not be prosecuted for perjury of their oath of office.

Secondly, Alan, thank you for quoting half of my tagline:

“You cannot arm slaves and expect them to remain slaves.
“Nor can you disarm a free people and expect them to remain free.”

  • john jaklich April 5, 2018, 12:33 am

Every great idea needs to be sent to dozens of Washington’s leaders to spread the word around in their territory. Often times it is only the protesters that the politicians hear because the conservative, honest, tax paying citizens assume they are secure in their Nation by virtue of the founding father’s convictions, and do not write or call. The President and every representative needs to hear every time the anti-gun crowd spreads a lie and every time their vengeful hate attempts to destroy innocent lives. The murdering criminals have a real problem using a gun to solve their problems just as they see in the movies and on TV. The idea to lash out at innocent lives who had nothing to do with those who harmed them or violated their life, is clear indication that their animal instincts are attacking without reason or rationale. If man came from the apes, it seems we are in the time period where people are acting like apes. No common sense, no respect for anyone but themselves, no rhyme or reason why they get ticked off or who they hurt as their perceived solution. The anti gun hate groups are doing the exact same thing. Some innocent life gets violated and they in turn lash out. Not against the criminal who murdered their loved ones. Not against the legal system who let the criminal continue in their rage without intervening and doing anything that might have stopped the murderer. But, they lash out at innocent lives unrelated to the murderer. Lives who would be the last to ever lash out to hurt anybody. Innocent, law abiding, honest, hard working and loyal citizens who served their country and pay their taxes. The minds of the anti-gun crowds are so filled with rage and vindictive contempt for gun owners or manufacturers of guns that they are completely blinded to the fact, none of them did them any harm. The NRA never endorsed the school shooters. The manufacturers of AR15’s, had they been on the scene of the crime, would have been the first to run in and stop the killers before too much damage could have been done. We are dealing with irrational, unrestrained and undisciplined barbarian behavior. We are likely going to see more shootings because the media and the anti crowds have encouraged it. They keep feeding the frenzy and continue to pour fuel on the fire to keep the flames hot. They don’t care who the next innocent life will be; but, they hope it will be gun owners or someone who endorses firearms. Sure, it would be nice if our society could be crime free. But, that isn’t reality. It never happened before. What could be changed is the contribution each and every American citizen makes to keeping America free from the tyrants of socialism or communism. Turning off the entertainment center and writing the Congressmen and Senators. Writing the President to fire district judges who make law and defy the Constitution. Encourage Congress to stand up for America and speak up. . . when liberals slander, lie and accuse the gun owners or the GOP, it seems there is a cowardly courtesy that remains silent so as not to offend the left by exposing their lies and hypocrisy. When The last President gave his loyalties and our money to the Muslims, spending trillions, expanding the wars without congressional approval, spending millions on his entitlements of recreation, serving himself to profit at tax payer expense, I suggesting exonerating Benedict Arnold and Richard Nixon since their treasons were far less damaging to the country than what that President had done. The response I received from Conservatives was heart breaking. I was told, “it is just politics – he isn’t doing anything wrong”. It is just a game to the GOP and each player is merely in it for themselves, using the American citizens to advance their own agenda without regard for what it is doing to this nation. Our borders are being overrun and the National Guard was trained to defend the homeland but instead, are fighting in a conventional war overseas, serving 1-4 tours at the cost of their own sanity and often, their lives. Spending trillions on the wars, expanding Bush’s one war to bomb in 7 countries, killing 6 times more troops than Bush’s war did, treating the military as if they were low life expendable scum, did not arouse one anti-war protest march against war. Who heard any complaints about spending tax dollars to build mosques or give to Muslims to spread their religion? Who heard complaints from the GOP about anything Obama did in his campaign against America? I actually believed the GOP was in collusion with the anti-American liberals to destroy America and preserve their financial security. Now, I just think they are cowards, lazy and spineless. If you write about the war, you get a response thanking you for your letter and telling you how much they are working to give everyone health care. If you write about Medicaid, they’ll send it to the VA. A letter about border security and how the federal government’s main task in the beginning was to maintain national security; which they fail to do… the response will be an autographed photo of the president and a thanks for your support. So, being out of touch with the people is normal. The only politicians who we hear are the enemies of American freedom. They are foaming and the mouth and attacking with everything they can to destroy innocent life. The ones who can/could stop them are too self absorbed and not wanting to make waves. America needs a miracle. Without some supernatural intervention, the GOP doesn’t possess the character to stand up and defend the constitution or the nation.

    thanks for listening

Right on the money. Obama has caused a riff in our society that the liberal media loves and carrys. Obama helped fund Soros’s agenda and should be in prison!

Banning guns is infringement under the 2nd Amendment. Confiscating guns without due process is in violation of the 5th Amendment. Too bad they don’t teach civics in school anymore. When the people don’t know what their rights are it’s much easier for the government or the tyrannical majority to take them away.

4th amendment is the one that protects us from illegal search and seizure. Wa wa waaa

  • Kurt T Hollyday April 2, 2018, 4:46 pm

    Amen! Civil war if pursued.

    • Dewey April 4, 2018, 10:46 pm

Yeah, right. You and Korwin will be leading the charge I suppose.

Them and about 50 million of us. People have short memories. In the ’60’s they tried to stop the war, didn’t work. This won’t either, but rest assured Dewey, if they come for mine they will have to take them by force. Most of us have enough firearms and ammunition stockpiled already, if you don’t then it is high time to get stocked. The alternative is not the US, this isn’t Australia where they have been buying back and taking guns for years, it just won’t fly here. I got my first firearm 56 years ago, there are enough of us “old bastards” that will shoot before surrender, what the hell do we have to lose? Our freedom is the answer and a country without my freedom isn’t worth living in, so yeah Dewey, were going to fight them and they won’t win.

And what would you do? Bend over, and say”Please, don’t make it hurt!” ? Conformist sheep!

      • jay April 6, 2018, 8:02 am

Dewey let me explain it this way! I am a Veteran, there are over 20 million of me out there that made an Oath to Protect, Defend and Uphold the Constitution of the USA, there is no expiration date!! There might be some defectors but with the citizens who are the Militia that makes over 100 million with guns to do just that and over 200 million guns as a estimate by the FBI in 2015!The active military has sworn the same oath and again there might be some defectors. If your not one who would Defend, Protect and uphold our Constitution the very back bone of this Country, you might want to reconsider your stance! Just watch the lowly ant sometime after stirring their home up and see what happens!

The Dewey Decimal Point – the size of his brain. (Look it up.)

Amen Kurt! Another almost old bastard that if when I moved to Florida 32 years ago you told me FL would be the first to strip 18-20 yo citizens of arms I would have laughed in you’re face. Yes we will fight. There are three boxes we use to keep the government in check. The soap box, the ballot box, the cartridge box. When the first two no longer work we are left with the third option. I never thought I would see the third option in my lifetime but it is rapidly approaching.
