Liam Neeson trashes 2A: ‘I am totally for gun control in the US’

Authors S.H. Blannelberry

Liam Neeson, 62, is a rabid pro-gun control supporter, apparently. Who’d a thunk?

Hollywood movie star Liam Neeson is not a fan of the Second Amendment, despite the fact that many of the roles he’s played as of late depict him as a good guy with a gun saving the day.

In an interview with The Independent, the 62-year-old Ireland native and current New York resident was unequivocal about his support for rolling back gun rights for law-abiding Americans.

“I am totally for gun control in the US. The population of America is roughly 300 million and there are 300 million guns in this country, which is terrifying,” explained Neeson.

“Every day we’re seeing some kid running rampant in a school. And do you know what the gun lobby’s response to Newtown was?” he asked, referring to the mass shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary in Newtown, Connecticut.

“The National Rifle Association’s official response was ‘If that teacher had been armed…’ It’s crazy,” Neeson continued. “I’ll give Britain its dues, when they had the Dunblane massacre in Scotland, within 24 hours the gun laws were changed so you could not have a handgun.”

Neeson believes that the founders and framers of the constitution would be deeply disappointed if they knew how the courts have come to interpret the Second Amendment, i.e. as an individual right not contingent upon militia service.

“It is the right to bear arms which is the problem,” said Neeson. “I think if the Founding Fathers knew what was happening they would be turning in their graves with embarrassment at how that law has been interpreted.”

Obviously, Neeson is sorely mistaken. Evidence that the founders and framers supported one’s individual right to keep and bear arms for personal self-defense and to protect against government tyranny is rather abundant in historical texts and documents. But Neeson is a hack, he wouldn’t think to look beyond the anti-2A narrative propagated by his pals in Hollywood.

What a hypocrite! He makes his millions making movies with all kinds of guns and weapons in them and then has the balls to say we shouldn’t be allowed to own guns. I think I won’t be supporting any more of his films. What an ass.

  • Matthew Spratling November 29, 2017, 2:41 pm

    very good one!

  • John N Schoen November 24, 2017, 9:08 am

Lian phrases the British for banning private gun ownership (Australia and New Zealand as well). A very dumb example to use!
Since the bans were enacted, street crime, home invasions, and illegal weapons (including full auto) have increased.
And he wants to bring this to the US? God protect us from idiots like him. Having made millions off gun violence it shows what a hypocrite he is! (I bet he has bodyguards as well.)

  • rick September 15, 2017, 11:08 am

Glory oh,Glory ohh to the bold fenian men~~

  • John D. Fiat December 28, 2015, 11:49 pm

Who is this goofball? I’ve never heard of him. (Thank God!) But how does this brainiac think that the U.S. government could confiscate 300 million guns without turning the nation into a total police state? It’s funny how the lefties think that deportations of illegal aliens would be a police state but disarming the entire population wouldn’t be. (Well, the Left is not exactly known for their brains, now are they?)

  • SarahC September 1, 2015, 10:56 am

One more time for the moronically challenged hypocrite. It is impossible to get guns away from bad people. They are gonna have them, acquire them, get them and use them no matter what laws are changed or added. Only the good, law abiding citizens will turn over their only means of protecting their family if some liberal puke changes the law. They might as well set their belongings out in front of their house, along with their underage sons and daughters and post a big sign saying: Take what you want! Gasoline around back if you want to burn down our home too. We know the government will replace everything. The government takes care of us. It’s what they do; it’s why we pay them the big bucks. (You buying any of this crap?)

This is the 2nd NON US citizen who has come to this country to make big money, shot off his mouth and showed his ignorance while here. The first, to my knowledge, was Paul McCartney. Why the hell don’t you liberal degenerates stay on your side of the big blue ocean and leave our side alone? If you won’t tell us who is paying you to say this crap, then we do NOT want to hear it. Any of it. Go away. And take your films and your pitiful songs with you.

  • Cj June 22, 2015, 10:11 am

    Damn Liam,
I used to enjoy your movies. Now you dumb hypocritical sob I will never watch one of your flicks again.

And it’s not 300 million people and 300 million guns. It’s 400 million MODERN LEGAL firearms, plus antique firearms, plus home made, plus black powder, plus illegally made, plus illegally imported plus military and police arms. Next of the 318 million people in the U.S. Just less than a third are under 18 and therefore are not legally able to own a gun. That leaves 222.6 million of which 20 million have been convicted of a felony and are disqualified from gun ownership leaving 202.6 million people. Of which after deducting the number of people who are prohibited from gun ownership due to mental health, acoholism, drug addiction, domestic violence injunctions ect drops to about 170 million people in this nation that can lawfully own guns. Of that number over 100 million people who can own guns do. This means several things:
    1. In a nation where only 112 million people voted for president a 100 million gun owning voters will beat any attempt to take our firearms.
    2. No matter what you do you will not be able to get any meaningful fraction of guns off the street.
    3. Despite gun ownership being at its absolute height violence has deminished.

  • Carmine January 8, 2015, 8:47 am

No more money will be wasted on his movies by me. I love all these Euro types that come here and try to take away our freedoms, if it so dangerous, why do you choose to live here? Go back to your own country, it must be safer there, instead of shootings, the IRA blows things up. How do they do that, bombs are not legal there?

Go back to Ireland and stop telling the greatest country in the world how to live its life. I am sure the next time another aggressor arises over there they will be calling all us sharpshooters to fight their battles again. So sick of these hollywood elites.

  • Don January 7, 2015, 3:01 am

this libertard needs to go to where he came from!!! For fu(s sake he portrayed Oskar Shindler in Schindlers list !!! The Nazi’s disarmed the population and commited GENOCIDE !!!! He obviously knows nothing about HISTORY !!! He whom does not learn history is DOOMED to repeat its mistakes !!!! I’m now in the process of putting all of his movies in my library where I put Jim Carrys movies — in my wood burning stove !!!! Fuc him and all his Libertard butt buddies !!!!

  • LHS January 6, 2015, 11:32 pm

Great. Now Neeson is is on my sh*t list.
What is up with these pompous, ass clown actors making millions as gun-toting saviours who then decry what in fact made them famous. Goodbye.

  • scott tchida January 6, 2015, 3:23 pm

Then he should forgo the gun wielding hero characters he portrays on the silver screen.

  • Mark January 6, 2015, 12:56 pm

Too bad he’s exposed himself to be such a hypocrite. I enjoyed his previous movies.
He’ll no longer get a dime from me.

  • William Kennedy January 6, 2015, 12:18 pm

I just continue to marvel at the perception that an actor should be an expert on the 2nd amendment.
Or that his opinion should be publicized more than anyone else’s.
For myself, and my family, I intend to stay away from contributing anything to his income.

  • Lazarus Swann January 6, 2015, 12:06 pm

Well was a fan but with this comment my dollars will go to viewing other movies without him. I refuse to facilitate such comments by giving him even one dollar to pay him. I choose to make it plain that my rights are not to be usurped by anyone much less someone who hails from a foreign country. He yells about the 300 million gun owners he forgets that most crimes are committed by illegal gun owners aka people that have bought their guns on the black market and have not undergone a background check. Nor does he see the rise in gun violence in Britain. More thugs there are using guns now than ever so what has limiting the ownership of guns in Britain done but create a class of persons that will be Victims to those that have guns to use against them. All those folks can do is pray and roll over and die.

In America we have the right to protect ourselves and to shoot the thugs robbing or trying to kill us with guns they obtained illegally. Most of gun violence is committed by criminals in possession of guns obtained illegally from other criminals. How are you going to legislate that. It has been tried for ages and nothing has even slowed it down. All you are doing by suggesting that Americans should not have the right to possess arms is saying they should be victims to those that have a gun to threaten them and their loved ones with.

I imagine you live in a nice community with little crime and perhaps even a gated community with guards and such. Unfortunately most of the real world people live out among the criminals and need to protect themselves against them. Get a clue fool.

  • Douglas DeViney January 6, 2015, 12:45 am

Sandy Hook? Handguns? I thought he went in with a rifle?
Why didn’t the Japs invade America? The Admiral said there would be a gun behind every window and tree.
Every house taken would cost them a few soldiers.
What happens when someone goes nuts in Iran? He stabs a bunch of people.
People kill people. I’ve had kids and delivery people around my place. My guns didn’t attack anyone.

  • Dennis January 5, 2015, 4:23 pm

I was going to see his new movie. I will NOT now. If he feels safer in Ireland, let him go back there and live.

  • Patrick Finnie January 5, 2015, 1:36 pm

Is he even a U.S. citizen ? Of course he is entitled to an opinion as anybody else is, but if he is not a resident, his opinion should not carry any more weight than my opinion would (should) if I were to comment about the state of liberty enjoyed by the residents of Ireland.

    • Patrick Finnie January 5, 2015, 2:30 pm

Should have read Citizen not Resident.

  • law dawg January 5, 2015, 12:28 pm

Liam or what ever his name should go make movies in his own country. He’s just another liberal, dope smoking, coke snorting, anti- american socialist….stick to making stupid movies liam….and leave law abiding gun owners alone.

  • Dan January 5, 2015, 8:38 am

Liam’s views have absolutely no correlation with the facts regarding guns and crime but, as usual, facts and liberals shouldn’t be used in same sentence.

  • Tim R January 5, 2015, 3:07 am

Really? Really? I just read a comment from Scott a self described 2 deployment Marine who declared it is great to watch Liam Neeson spout Liberal Gun Taking 2nd amendment destroying policy, but still love the uber violent gun movies this Man Produces. He further states it is “impossible” for the Government to take away all the guns.
Where have you been Sir? Because you are missing the game on all counts by a long shot.
Gun Confiscation has already commenced…….just ask anyone in the State of New York………and Califorbnia is just one more Governor Moonbeam and Senator Frankenstein away from that reality as well. Wake up and smell what you are shoveling.
Liam Neeson joins the long list of hypocrites who believe the Law is good for everyone but them. It is perfectly ok to make millions promoting Violence around the World with extremely violent movies but in turn…..let me tell you what all you “little” people out there should be subject to. The most hypocritical attitude possible.
The Liberal agenda is to take just a bite at a time……..big bites where possible, little if opposed but to keep the pressure relentless. One thing is certain………..if the 2nd Amendment falls all the rest are in serious jeopardy.

  • John H January 5, 2015, 2:05 am

The founders I am sure are rolling over in their graves. Not because they got it wrong, rather because moron like this and those in the elected class are so grossly violating basic human rights!
With true legal reform and proper enforcement of our laws those who have violated our rights can be brought to justice. This movement against the rights of inviduals has to be stoped, and the restoration of freedom and liberty take its place.

  • HollowStateRocks January 4, 2015, 11:00 pm

Used to be a big fan, but not anymore. Instead of buying the movies he is in I’ll just wait until they are free on TV because he is usually not the only reason I watch a movie. As far as I am concerned this traitor to the 2A can go back from whence he came and stop pushing his hypocrisy on the American public. What a pathetic loser to think this way. The only thing the countries he believes in that did this was to make the people victims!!

  • Tom McMurray January 4, 2015, 7:22 pm

We will be just as happy if he’d fly back to Ireland…With all his gear! Maybe he can make just as much money in the European movie industry.

  • M. Nelson January 4, 2015, 7:17 pm

Was a fan, now am not, last movie of his that I saw was just that, the last! Sounds like he needs to go the way of the piers morgan and take his arse back to ireland!

    • JasonArgonaut January 5, 2015, 12:11 am

      Ditto!!!

  • John G January 4, 2015, 6:11 pm

Hey, Neeson. Why don’t you go back to Ireland and see how well you do there? There had to have been something that this country had that caught your eye. Maybe it was the, ridiculous, fighting in your own country. Not a fan of this butt-head’s movies any more.

  • Vee Kay January 4, 2015, 4:38 pm

They better not cast him as the weapon wielding hero of any films they want me to go see. My money won’t support another film he’s in.

  • Milan hart January 4, 2015, 4:37 pm

If he really believes this crap he should not do pro gun movies, but oh gosh he would be out of work! These asses should never come here if they want to bring their countries laws with them. Why are they free? The armed USA citizen and our ability to shoot and kill bad guys for real! Go home Limy and keep your stupid ass mouth shut about our founding Fathers. If they knew what trash Hollywood was putting out under the first amendment they would return and use the second amendment to their fullest ability! I’ll never pay to see another one of this jerks films. God bless the USA our laws and our military.

  • all7741 January 4, 2015, 4:16 pm

Many Hollywood glitterati become convinced their public utterances are words of wisdom. But the truly wise in Hollywood are the ones who can keep their mouths shut.

  • Tim January 4, 2015, 3:57 pm

Exactly Joe. I won’t watch another of his movies. Being that they are hypocritical. . He not even from the U.S. . So he needs to just keep his mouth shut. Much like Jim Carrey. Just another actor I will never support again. They won’t take my firearms. It’s my right to own them and no one has the right to change it…

  • jedagi January 4, 2015, 3:55 pm

Yep, old Liam just crapped in his nest as far as im concerned. If you dont like our countries laws then stay in Ireland.

  • KEVIN C BROWN January 4, 2015, 3:12 pm

WAIT UNTIL SOMEONE BREAKS INTO HIS HOME OR WORSE; IDIOT.

  • Joe January 4, 2015, 3:07 pm

Nice to know this. I am not spending a penny in another movie of this hypocrite. If he is so against guns why he glorifies them in his movies?? What a way to be an ass. The fact that there are 300 million guns according to him( he overinflated the figure by about 100 million), and that there are almost 300 million americans , should tell you that the amount of gun violence in the USA , even by robbers and thugs and crazed people ,is very small. If it practically means that every citizen have or could have a gun ,then according to the liberals why are we not completely banished?? We are supposed to not even exist. Of course what this says is that the majority of guns are in the hands of law abiding citizens and that we as a whole , respect and value life. His work at the movies glorifying violence does worst to our kids and teenagers than all the guns we have. Hollywood is the worst offender when they put all these fantasy and twisted ideas in the minds of maleable youth. In the not so distant past, our kids grew up in farms ,with guns as tools to manage and protect cattle. No one was killing each other and no kid dreamed of taking a gun and do a massacre. The values and moral and what they used to put in the minds of children back them made all the difference. It was a culture of work , getting ahead legally in life thru it , and honoring God and family. Now the liberals with all their BS including their Hollywood brain washing machine ,uses this foreign turds to try to tells us what is right or wrong. I think his age went up to his head.

  • Terry January 4, 2015, 2:35 pm

Why do we care what some Brit Movie actor thinks anyway. A. He is not a citizen of the U.S. so his opinion means nothing. B. In spite of his love for gun control the criminals in Britain have the guns, only special branches of the police carry or are authorized to and the ordinary citizen is helpless. By the way you are “allowed” in Britain to own long guns which can do considerable damage you just can’t carry them around with you. So Liam, stick to acting and shut your mouth about the constitution of the U.S. and what you think the Founding Fathers might have meant when the thing was written. You don’t know and it was your type that we threw out back then for just the kind of control over us you advocate. Bye, bye!!

  • Tom Mintz January 4, 2015, 2:35 pm

His new movie won’t get a dime of mine. Hell. I won’t even look at his old movies. The Second is about government tyranny, period. That’s what the framers meant. Go back to Your socialist country!

  • Joe January 4, 2015, 2:32 pm

After reading some of the comments on this actor’s remarks, I am very discouraged and I really wonder how bad our country is going to get before there is a war or revolution. There are people here blaming liberals, democrats, republicans, etc for the problems in this country. You can read the obvious regurgitation of “someone said” or “I heard”. The problem is there has to be a point where what you hear is digested and measured against what you have experienced in your life. The name calling and grouping of any folks together comes from the total lack of reasoning before repeating.
I have heard the term liberal applied to just about anything a given individual does not agree with.
If all democrats are against guns, then only the republicans are buying guns, right? Does that make sense?
From what I’ve seen in America, the people who want gun control are the ones who have given up personal responsibility, or the very rich who are robbing the public and don’t want any chance of a gun being shoved up their collective asses for being crooks and interfering with government.
One of the biggest problems we have in America, is that we have allowed the corporate media to segment the citizens into groups that hate each other and will not even listen to the other group’s reasoning.
Wake up!! The “group that supports this country, keeps the NRA in business, is the working class. The biggest group in America folks, the group, that if they would stop the name calling and see what they have in common, would have the most power in America.
Another of the biggest mistakes in this country is our very, very short memories. Take the time to read about American History. You will find that the republican party is the worst enemy the working class ever had, and has. All you have to do is be curious, find out, on your own and you’ll be shocked and angry about how far from the truth the media is.
Listen here, If working class America would stop allowing the media to divide them, and talk, communicate, relate, and vote together, things like gun control or confiscation would go away like a fast leaking helium balloon.
    By letting ourselves be distracted, the path we are on serves corporations and the obscenely rich and has the following benefits for the Working American Citizen;
    * Wages that have been frozen or depressed while costs for goods and services continue to rise.
*Retirement programs that are raided every so often by wall street, but are somehow “your responsibility now”
    * Health care that is a cruel hoax, where when you or a family member get hurt or sick, you have to pay corporations, CEOs, board members and stockholders a shitload of money, just to get access to a doctor. These same greedy low lifes have convinced Americans that eyecare, and dental care are different from healthcare. Why, did we not have teeth or eyes a few generations ago???
*Taxes that never allow you to own the property you paid for 3 times over already, taxes on taxes, and any tax they feel like adding locally.
*Poor treatment of the worker, while the corporation require loyalty and commitment.
*Corporate schemes and processes that rob citizens of their hard earned dollars, ie front loaded mortgages, increasing interest rates, etc.
    * Local government using your own already expensive vehicles to rob you, ie speed traps, unreasonable speed limits, forced insurance, parking fees, inspections, taxes, etc.

Think about it folks, neither party is doing much to support the very citizens they collect wages from. They are taking pay-offs though, right in your faces.
    * The wall street faceless cowardly crooks, stole trillions of dollars out from under the American Citizen and are STILL not arrested and jailed.
    * The NRA has always claimed to be the watchers and the armed defenders of the country, against tyrants. The tyrants are HERE already, they have distracted the people with threatened gun laws, political labels, race problems, terrorist threats, and on and on. Turn and look at just who is running this country and trying to turn the screws.
Keep blindly following the pack, and you will not be able to afford to own a gun to worry about.

  • Dr. Earl January 4, 2015, 2:28 pm

Funny for a man that comes from Ireland (and I am Irish/American) where the IRA & England had been killing each other for years, to complain about guns. I suggest that if he haters\guns so much he move to a country that has the controls he would like. I am amazed how many immigrants come here for a better life and then want to change the US to be like the country they escaped.

  • Alfonso A. Rodriguez January 4, 2015, 2:03 pm

If Mr Neeson is against our 2A, then why his movies glorify guns and vigilantism so much. He stands to make a lot of money by the fans of such movies so he is a hypocrite that should be making light romance comedies or sandal and word movies. Hell even in the UK where gun laws are so draconian as to not allow for self defense lest the victim is accused of a felony for using “too much force”, violent gangster movies with plenty of gun play are very popular. Indeed a great actor based on how he can change colors as easily as a chameleon. She should live else where other than the USA. I know he lives in Los Angeles and likes it. Do not bite the hand that feeds you.

Why do we even cars what an actor or actress thinks? Are they inherently smart? No, they are paid to live in a dream world and that tends to carry over into their off-screen life.
    Liam, bite me.

  • BigGeorge January 4, 2015, 1:46 pm

“They aren’t going to take our guns”?!…well “they” have already started! Ole Gov. ‘Moonbeam’ here in the Republic of Kalefornia signed a new California law where families can ask police to confiscate lawfully-owned weapons from close relatives. http://www.infowars.com/disarming-law-californians-gain-right-to-have-relatives-guns-confiscated/
Jerry Brown is just another obummer/bloomberg puppet!

  • duh January 4, 2015, 1:23 pm

Another hypocrite actor who profits on what they hate. He starred in Rob Roy about taking up arms against England to free Scotland. They should have submitted to England’s laws against owning such weapons in that movie.

  • Stones86 January 4, 2015, 1:11 pm

He and Sean Penn’s girlfriend don’t mind making money off of movies with guns and violence and then show their true colors, hypocrites !!
And Mr Cobos is correct. The anti-gun money could go a long ways toward mental illness issues and would reap the rewards they think no guns would achieve.

  • Walter Cobos January 4, 2015, 12:03 pm

    1/4/2015
It seems that people don’t think it’s the criminals and mentally sick that commit horrible crimes with guns. For the former we need to have much stronger laws if they use a gun, and to the latter we need to have outpatient facilities so people having mental problems can go seek help.
The law abiding citizen should not be punished by taking away their right to use guns legally and when needs be protect life and home.

  • J.B. January 4, 2015, 11:44 am

Another talentless actor who would presume to tell Americans what we MUST do. It’s like the Canadian Jim Carrey, you don’t like this country leave. Go back to Ireland Liam and take your bad acting with you. I do my talking any more with my wallet. only thing that gets through to these a holes is loss of money. He is on my pay no mind list now.

  • Ben January 4, 2015, 11:43 am

I’m totally for never watching any of his movies. I love how someone who is so against guns and not a citizen can mouth all this crap. He needs to spend some time in a bad neighborhood.

  • BIGKIELBASSA January 4, 2015, 11:20 am

He’s from Ireland ?? I guess the IRA wouldn’t have gained any freedoms if they weren’t armed, just like AMERICA wouldn’t have gained freedom from the LIMEY TYRANTS if we were not armed . Pretty stupid of the Mick to turn his back on history. Geri Adams must be shaking his head in disgust about this shithead .

  • BruceM January 4, 2015, 10:42 am

I’m sure a one-way ticket back to the UK can be arranged for Mr. Neeson (free of charge, of course) in view of the fact that he is soo terrified and admires condition back in Ireland and Britain. Good riddance.

  • Larry January 4, 2015, 10:12 am

Being a informed person you can really make a difference. First know who are the anti gun agenda people in Hollywood and DO NOT support their movies and tell others not to go or the reason why you do not spend your money watching these blowhards. Liam Neeson is just one of the very large group that are anti 2nd amendment or anti gun who has made millions using guns in movies but stanchly supports the notion that the general public has NO rights to own them. Leonardo DiCaprio, Matt Damon, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Jim Carey, the list is endless. On the other end of the spectrum is Brad Pitt his wife Angelina Jolene , Clint Eastwood, Bruce Willis and a very few others who have all spoken out against the anti gun crowd, for the second amendment and get the cold shoulder from Hollywierd. Support the actors that support or share your same views. The same goes with not supporting stores such as Starbucks, Target and Panera bread Costco, Tyson chicken. Spend you dollars with Sam’s Club, Wal Mart etc. who share you same political views. The internet is a wonderful tool and you can really make a difference by support companies that share you view.

  • ONTHE WALL January 4, 2015, 10:09 am

Liam I used to be a fan and saw every one of your movies. I have a feeling I will not be seeing any more. Before you open your big mouth you should remember if it was not FOR GUNS we would still be under english rule and you would probably not be making the films you have made and you would also be as poor as you were before you broke into the film industry with Pilgrims Progress FINANCED BY USA even though it was filmed in Northern Ireland, UK. And speaking of Northern Ireland, UK they have very little access to firearms so what do they do THEY DO IT THE OLD FASHIONED WAY THEY USE BOMBS much much neater and no collateral damage right!

  • Mike January 4, 2015, 10:07 am

I was a fan of his movies but never again. I’m with you Rick. BOYCOTT.

  • Chris Baker January 4, 2015, 10:01 am

I have a suggestion for Liam. If he’s terrified of us because we own firearms, then he should get busy and move back to Ireland where I’ve heard that gun ownership is illegal. I have news for him. It’s illegal to rob people or to shoot them except in self defense or the defense of another. So what criminal who wants to kill someone has any trouble getting one? Answer: NONE. I’d also like to ask Liam how many armed guards protect him and his family and if he thinks every American can afford a few armed guards.

Liam is now on my list of actors never to watch again along with Alec Baldwin, Jane Fonda et al.

  • Rick January 4, 2015, 9:44 am

    WE THE PEOPLE……….
One right they haven’t taken away yet …… is the right to PICKET or BOYCOTT…..IT WORKS…
    I HAVE DONE IT……
    BOYCOTT HIS MOVIES…..
Now your getting into the pockets of corporate America…watch them squeal like pigs…

  • Scott January 4, 2015, 9:25 am

You’d think he’d understand the importance of the 2A considering all his movies he uses weapons to fight bad guys. Hey Liam do a movie where as a citizen your right to a weapon is gone then tell me how you’re gonna save your daughter from the prostitution ring once she’s “Taken”. Seems like it would be a pretty depressing and short film. I bet this moron owns guns or has armed security as well. These Hollywood elites are for the collective and view all us regular people as expendable piggy banks mesmerized by thier crappy movies. Don’t buy thier movies ir watch thier tv it’s all glamorized violence and excessive drug/alcohol abuse they’re part of the f’n problem. Do martial arts, teach your children about weapons an thier rights and the importance of voting. Spend time on the range or in the woods hunting and fishing. Screw Hollywood and Liam.

  • Michael Ashnin January 4, 2015, 9:15 am

Another rich foreigner from heavily guarded gated community giving his liberal snobbish horse manure!
Btw,during riots in London a few years ago-law-obiding fathers were left with NOTHING against mob of rioting scum…

  • Ronald Miller January 4, 2015, 9:07 am

I’m so frustrated. On one hand, I want to boycott movies starring him. On the other hand, the movies he’s starred in lately have been so mediocre, the action is redundant.

  • Kevin Y January 4, 2015, 9:01 am

Irish, huh? Home of the IRA, who used guns against their own government! Killed innocent people! Maybe he should go home! If it wasn’t for our laws, he wouldn’t be in OUR country!

  • Hugh January 4, 2015, 8:48 am

Liam is struggling to survive as an actor, releasing B movie after Predictable B movie filled with unrealistic gun violence. This is just a feeble way for him to produce some interest in his failed film career.

  • keith koziba January 4, 2015, 8:25 am

    GUN CONTROL
The average murder rate in the United States is about 39 people a day and not all of those are committed with guns! . Even if they were it does not compare with the average abortion rate which is about 3700 per day! All of those abortions are committed by potential mothers. Most murders are commited by people that know each other. Consider that if all those abortions were committed with guns what would people have to say about that? The liberal media and the democratic party wants to ban guns but approves abortion and uses every opportunity to point out when a gun is used. Should they not be banning scalples too? The war on women as sited by the democratic party is really a war on babies and as our president has been quoted as saying “I would not want to punish my daughter with a baby” so in case you forgot your birth control they have a more violent solution. How with that form of thinking does that become health care? Birth control should be the responsibility of two consenting parties not the government. People who die of a drug overdose is 114 per day, more than twice the murder rate and has nothing to do with gun ownership.

  • John January 4, 2015, 8:15 am

  • Jim Jadwin January 4, 2015, 8:09 am

Why are most of the Hollywood acting community a bunch of liberal butt wipes? Perhaps it’s as basic as they all have fragile egos combined with an abundance of a lack of self worth? Perhaps they work and live in an area dedicated to make believe and pretending to be others. This is something most children give up at age 5.

  • dave January 4, 2015, 6:44 am

i agree , iwas a fan . run his but over to australia and he can see what happened when they took all the guns away from the people. be gone

  • Gary January 4, 2015, 5:42 am

He gives Britain credit? Great, so do I, we have the 2A BECAUSE Britain

  • Dennis Siegler January 4, 2015, 5:04 am

Liam should read the lines written for him , and keep his lame potato growing opinions to himself! I’m sure he’s got a ccw permit himself, dam hypocrite!

  • Nicholas Cousins September 28, 2014, 9:05 pm

This damn hypocrite has made millions of dollars “acting”as a gun toting hero in the country in which our fore fathers insured the second amendment as a right. I wonder if any of that easily made cash has been used to protect this jerk and his by hiring well armed security. I would bet my left and right ones it has. This uneducated actor might want to see what a well armed militia did to his faggot empire. Go back , stay there and pay those ridiculous British taxes a-hole.

For those who do not believe that this government will not come and take your weapons, ask the citizens in Louisiana when hurricane Katrina struck as I know for a fact that troops and outside law enforcement were ordered to go in and confiscate weapons. What concerns me and should concern every U.S. citizen is not just about 2nd amendment rights, but all of our rights and freedoms. For instance, recently ,the democrats in the senate voted to do away with our 1st amendment rights to freedom of speech. Why was this important?Well,If you cannot go online to inform people of how a particular politician voted for a particular issue, that would keep us less informed on such important issues as gun control, etc.Another example of the government trying to find a way to take our weapons is through the U.N.Now,supposedly,the U.N. could not circumvent our laws and do this but I can guarantee,if they received the votes they needed, they would bring in foreign troops to assist in the confiscation of our weapons.Lastly,if noone has noticed,we are barely hanging on by a thread because of the courts. It is only a matter of time when the courts fully rule in the governments favor on the gun issue. The democratic leadership has lost it in my opinion as evidenced by people like Harry Reid and his involvement at the Bundy ranch and his accusations of Americans standing up for their rights as domestic terrorists as well as our government claiming that the number one domestic threat is our troops coming home from the battlefields. The republican party has become a bunch of gutless wonders in their own rights.I am not anti government by any stretch of the imagination but I am tired of the very, very poor leadership by them all.I do want to thank every soldier, vet and police officer who do try to make life safe for us and I always pray for those who have fallen to preserve the freedoms that we have to be willing to stand up and fight for as well.

    • Donnie January 4, 2015, 8:52 am

Well said brother. I know for a fact this will happen and sooner than anyone thinks. We WILL have our gun taken away at gun point. We WILL be forced into FEMA camps! How many red flags do all these dem’s and radicial leftist need to see the writing on the wall and guess what? Our muslim terrorist in chief doesn’t care what you believe or what political race you follow, we are all going down in the same camps eating and drinking the same bread and water! I personally won’t be a victim of this. They will get me but it’s going to get very bloody first!!! There WILL be a lot of new widows that day! I suggest anyone with guns go bury them out in the desert or woods , all except for one or two! God help us, we’re going to need it.

  • Jack Dsonice September 23, 2014, 3:28 pm

In “A Walk Among the Tombstones” he kills a couple of dozen people.

Maybe he should stop making movies with guns if he thinks that guns are bad.

  • Bubba1775 September 23, 2014, 2:17 pm

So 300 million guns & 300 million Americans means nobody’s got a backup? I beg to differ my friend……

  • Bubba September 23, 2014, 2:12 pm

See you in HELL, you liberal piece of shit….

  • Mike September 23, 2014, 1:47 pm

    Go back to Ireland Liam.

  • Bud Weiser September 23, 2014, 8:37 am

Another Brit we need to send packing like we did with Piers Morgan!
Why, Piers Morgan carried on HIS anti gun fight on CNN’s prime time evening show.
After hundereds of thousands of complaints from 2A rights Americans, “Piers Morgan Live cancelled by CNN.”

  • shootbrownelk September 23, 2014, 8:29 am

I noticed that Neeson thinks America has a violent, gun saturated society. I wonder what his opinion of the IRA is?
Those folks shot, bombed and butchered plenty of folks. Stick to what you know, playing army and eating spuds.

  • carl September 23, 2014, 4:39 am

I’ve went and paid to watch your movies, now for you to insult me, my family and millions of other United States citizen’s to try to inferring our rights to protect ourselves and our families at worse time this nations ever been to want to disarm Americans of our 2nd amendment rights to bear arms is completely unexcitable. We will no longer watch your movies. Have a nice day:)

  • bill heffron September 23, 2014, 1:12 am

As an American of Irish descent, It pisses me off that I share the same heratige as this clown. He should go back to Ireland and stay there. I used to be a fan, but I will not support this scum bag watching any more of his movies.

  • Bill Prusinski September 22, 2014, 11:46 pm

Why do those people from Europe come to this country and start telling us what we should do? Like Liam Neeson or Pierce Morgan and others. They should go to a country that has gun control if it’s so great. I was a fan but not anymore.

  • Bigpapa September 22, 2014, 11:26 pm

I agree that he needs to take his a _ _ back to England where somebody may care what he thinks. I personally will not spend another dime on anything he is associated with.

On that point, I wish all gun owners would actively pay attention to the people and businesses that you continue to support when they are so against what this county stands for. Put your money back in your pocket and see what happens; or just ask the Dixie Chicks. Get smart and make your own statement.

  • Ron September 22, 2014, 10:47 pm

” THE RIGHT OF THE PEOPLE TO KEEP AND BEAR ARMS, SHALL NOT BE INFRINGED.”

  • Daddyo September 22, 2014, 9:01 pm

This is why we left the “Empire.” They just don’t get it. I, for one, am going to vote with my wallet. The actor (i.e. a person who works pretending at being something else or an imposter) may be better off keeping his personal thoughts… Well, personal.

Besides, I rarely listen to anyone who hasn’t, like myself, worked diligently to protect, and has put themselves in harms way, for this country, its people, and what it stands for. He’s not a real person, he just plays one on TV. No backbone. No fortitude. There is nothing he won’t do for a check. A true hypocrite. He is not worth spending my money on.

  • Daniel September 22, 2014, 8:49 pm

It always amazes me when I hear a Brit complain about our rights. Remember the beheading of a young British soldier in the streets of London? There was one policemen on the scene, but he had to wait for an armed unit to arrive. The Brits gave up their right to own guns. The Aussies did too. Both have increased rates of violent crimes, because the law abiding citizens of these countries gave up their guns and their right they once had to protect themselves. I liked the movies Liam Neeson had starred in, but now he has showed himself to be another ungrateful foreigner, who we can do without.

  • MGMike September 22, 2014, 8:09 pm

Well, I like his movies and I’ll continue to watch them. So he is a great yawning rectum, so what?
His opinions and $2.95 will get you a cup of coffee at Starbucks.
How does this Minus-Mind imagine that Ireland won its independence from England? Was he just mouthing the lines in “Michael Collins” and not paying attention to the script?

  • Russ September 22, 2014, 8:02 pm

    Another one bites the dust.
Why can’t actors stick to acting and let the NRA and Americans stand up for Firearms?
I liked that guy a lot.
Used to, till he opened up his liberal slit and let his ignorance out.
Now he’s just another clueless big mouth wrecking my America.

  • Stew September 22, 2014, 8:02 pm

Hypocrite, I wonder who protects his family and his hollywood Cronies. That would be Mr’s S&W, H&K, Colt and So On!!!., Oh and wait his wife died in Canada due to Suboptimal Health Care. If we the Gun Majority and Normal Folks just banded together and stopped purchasing anything that sends money to the Left, We would be a much better country. Mr Neeson, Go back to Ireland and drink your ale and eat you Potatoes.

  • Vic September 22, 2014, 7:46 pm

Used to like his movies, was gonna see “walk among the tombstones” in which he uses lots of guns, buy not now, nor anything else he participates in!

I really hate when all these Hollywood stars who play roles in violent movies and come out as big anti-gun advocates. Why don’t they practice what they preach or shut up, the latter is preferable!

  • 67 NAMVET September 22, 2014, 7:22 pm

I refuse to let any hollywood idiot determine what I watch for entertainment. They can mouth off all they want and I will to what I want. I will probably still watch his movies, but his picture will be on my target next time I go shoot. Anyone wanting my guns
will have to pry it out of my cold dead hand, of course, odds are, I will make their hand cold and dead first. Come and take it!
    God bless the USA.

  • Anon 45 Guy September 22, 2014, 6:27 pm

    Mr. Neeson:

As you are not a citizen, please feel free to depart this country to where-ever you would like. After all, not only do you have the freedom to express your opinion, but perhaps more importantly, you have the freedom to leave if you do not like it.

    Thank you.

  • Andrew N. September 22, 2014, 6:20 pm

I love the hypocrisy of Hollywood types. Sure we’ll make huge amounts of money romanticizing guns, but in “real life” they should not be allowed. Well, Liam, you can join Sly Stallone as someone whose movies I will not support. “Rambo”, yeah right! Sly spent his Vietnam years teaching physical education to girls in France. Another draft dodger, living large with his steroids and Hollywood money. At the top of my list? Hanoi Jane Fonda, whose movies I will not ever watch. Scumbag beyotch belongs in prison. Giving aid and comfort (As well as the occasional BJ I’m sure) to the enemy.

  • Boyd September 22, 2014, 5:50 pm

For Gun Control in the US?

I’ll bet the “actor” has armed security, darn, he plays tough, but he’s really rosie odonnel

  • gym September 22, 2014, 4:55 pm

Why these aliens are even published when it comes to our rights as Americans is at fault here again. Stop giving foreigners a platform to denounce the use of the very tools that they make their money with.
Let’s see how much money this awkward old man would make without a camera following him and a gun in his hand. They all live in la la land. He made more money in the past few years using a gun and beating people up, than all his other “shit” combined. If he doesn’t want it, we would be happy to take it back.

Elitist arrogance to the extreme. He makes his millions with gun in hand, lives in a secure complex, yet refuses to allow us peons the right or means to defend ourselves. I used to enjoy your films a lot Liam, but no more, ever again. You’ve seen my last paid admission ticket . . . Ever.

  • Victor September 22, 2014, 4:50 pm

So, let’s see if I have this right he is totally against law abiding people owning firearms to protect life and liberty
but it’s ok for him to be a hypocrite.and portray people who are full of blood-lust and just can’t wait to slaughter
his next victim I must say it’s a little difficult to wrap oneself around that kind of thinking would that of itself also
make him a lair as well I agree with Yankee Bill If your not a citizen keep your nose out of our politics or go back to
where you came from although I can see why you don’t want too having no real freedoms in in their own country and
if you think you do read your own history
    ps no longer a fan

  • YANKEEBILL September 22, 2014, 2:52 pm

Liam Neeson, and all the other foreign Hollywood types, should keep their opinions about America to themselves. If they are not American citizens, they certainly should have no standing in this country when it comes to criticizing anything American, especially our Constitution or the Bill of Rights. If they don’t like it here, or approve of the way we live, they can LEAVE! That being said, I am 60 years old. I have served my country, and I retired from law enforcement a few years back. I am also an NRA instructor, an armorer, a hunter, collector, and a self-professed “gun nut”. My dad was, too. So are most of my amigos. No one I know has ever had to use a firearm to harm another human being, except when it was absolutely necessary, such as in war, or in defense of self or another. I would agree with anyone who says it gets a little crazy here in the good old USA these days when it comes to firearms, and there are many folks who probably should not own any at all. That is a problem that should be dealt with by our legal system and the medical professionals. Unfortunately, our politicians have those folks so tied up with laws, regulations, and fears of the loss of their careers, that they cannot, or will not, do their “due diligence”. Criminals are criminals, whether they use a gun, knife, or a brick in the commission of a crime. If our laws concerning the purchase, possession, and use of firearms were enforced strictly, across the board for all citizens, we would not have the problem with firearms that we have today. It is a complicated problem, with simple solutions. But, FOREIGNERS should have no say in the matter! That goes for Mr. Neeson, Daniel Craig, Sean Connery, and anyone else who comes here and stays here on a green card or work visa, and does not become a citizen of the USA! LONG LIVE THE SECOND AMENDMANT!

  • tom September 22, 2014, 2:50 pm

  • Russ September 22, 2014, 2:25 pm

Well I also used to be a fan, no more. You hypocritical liberal elitist 1percenter. I guess trees should also be outlawed huh Liam?? You are an idiot to say our founding fathers would be rolling over in their graves. Go back to England if is too much for you here.

  • BigR September 22, 2014, 2:24 pm

Well, I just wrote him off my “movie watch” list!

  • larry m September 22, 2014, 2:21 pm

Liam should refrain from making political statements in a country that has provided him with the opportunity to provide a better life for himself and his family. Particularly when the statements he makes are in direct conflict with the characters he portrays on screen. It makes him appear hypocritical and at the least foolish. There are many other film genres for him to pursue. Maybe his acting skills are not broad enough to succeed there. I am confident that, had he remained in Ireland’s movie industry, we may never have heard of him (or his criticisms of our constitutional rights).
Does he think the Union Jack still flies over Washington?

  • Jim Poteet September 22, 2014, 1:56 pm

Who cares what a pussy who plays with and pretends to kill folks with blank firearms thinks or says? Who gave the gov’t. the power to nullify the constitution? Whether some of you uninformed and non-voters believe it or not the PEOPLE ARE the gov’t. and if they get off their lazy uninformed asses and vote they can do any thing they wish including deporting obvious
    traitors to the constitution.

  • Jim Dearing September 22, 2014, 1:34 pm

My wife and I went on a date last Friday night, she wanted to see the new Neeson movie, after dinner, I explained that I did not want to spend anymore of my money on Liam Neeson movies because of his stance on guns, she didn’t believe me so I told her to google Neeson and his opinions on guns in America. Needless to say we did not see the Neeson movie, nor will we, ever watch one again.

Send him back to Ireland and keep him there. BTW I am 74 and my wife 70, both of us are strong supporters of the Right to Keep and Bear Arms, which we do.

  • shootbrownelk September 22, 2014, 1:33 pm

  • shootbrownelk September 22, 2014, 1:30 pm

Why doesn’t this stupid Irish butthole hike-up his skirt…er…I mean Kilt and go home to Ireland and he can feel safe there.
I’m sick of these “Furriners” coming over here where we have constitutional RIGHTS and telling us how to run our country.
Neeson, Piers Morgan, Jim Carey and countless others. If they had their way…we’d still be the Colonies! We sent the British packin’ with an American foot in their collective asses a couple centuries ago, simply because we had GUNS! Please, GFY!!

  • Ron September 22, 2014, 1:12 pm

People who are not citizens of America really need to just shut up. Their opinions are irrelevant and should just be ignored. Especially foreigners.

Do not know if this idiot is a citizen or not? Really don’t care. If not he need not express his views so easily till he is. For anyone to put stock in what he says because of his fame rather than the intelligence of his argument marks them as a fool as well.
I call him a Hollywood Whore because he will take ten or twenty million to make a movie where they use guns constantly. Then in the next breath talk about gun violence and how they should be outlawed completely. If they are so evil and you want to prove a point to me then refuse to make a movie that violates your beliefs. Otherwise your words are hollow and your character is shallow if you will sell yourself so easy.

  • BRASS September 22, 2014, 11:07 am

Inconsequential as no one cares what those who have traded individual freedom for government control consider good national policy. Socialists are by definition unqualified by their lack of objectivity when it comes to US Constitutional matters. Indentured servants to the government who have voluntarily given away their rights to self governance and personal freedom might do well to consider their own failures first. In Great Briton, homeowners and private residents who use force to protect life and property are often persecuted and prosecuted worse than the criminals who attacked them. The British and most of Europe lack objectivity and have a long history of submitting to abusive power, hence two world wars, Communism, dictatorships and nations still victims of invasion and oppression. Here in the US we have both the means and the will to resist and prevent this abuse even if it means self sacrifice for freedom.

I’m sick & tired of people coming to our country from other countries & telling us how we should think & live. If they don’t like it here why are they here in the first place? Oh wait, I know. They don’t like our country, but they love our money.

  • Roger September 22, 2014, 9:48 am

Liam Neeson is a nobody, his opinions on guns do not matter. he should keep his mouth shut. Just because he has some kind of fame in making movies does not make him credible with his opinions on gun control. Stories like this disgust me. Look at all the responses to this article. Obviously people think this guy is a hypocrite and an airbag, and he is..

  • T. Jefferson September 22, 2014, 9:25 am

Looks like I never buy nor pay to see any of his movies ever again. Little commie bastard can go slurp eggs.

  • lardog September 22, 2014, 9:10 am

Send this liberal turd a message by NOT going to his movies that depict gun violence.
As with so many of the Hollywood actors who a dead fast against guns in America but make a living off movies depicting guns being used.
VOTE with your dollars and do not see these movies or support their ratings.

I am a retired Air force Msgt and can only say if you don’t like my country get out and then go back to your country. Why are you here if we are so bad I will not give up my guns because the second amendment gives me that right. During WWII the only reason Germany did not invade England was the RAF and the people. because they would have fought from every doorway, window street, gully nad any other place to fight from to keep Germany out of their country. The only reason the USA has not been invaded is because of our guns and being ready to fight . GO HOME TO YOUR COPUNTRY FOR YOU SURE AS HELL DONT BELONMG HERE IN MINE

Now here’s a guy for the past how many years has used AMERICA and firearms in and for his films? Now he feels that AMERICANS should give up their second amendment rights.
Who the flying fig does this guy think he is? LEAVE! GET OUT! If you don’t like this country’s bill of rights is not of his liking then take your butt and out of this country with your films and don’t come back.
There are a few people I will not go and see their films and he is now on top of the list.
Any true AMERICAN that goes and pays money for this guy to promote anti firearm politics in this country is an ass.
In other words DO NOT GO SEE HIS FILMS. If you do then all your doing is helping him and others like him to help the anti gun factions in this country.

  • DEFENDER September 22, 2014, 8:55 am

“HE” does not need a gun – so neither do you?
Hollywood – If I had 2-3 Big-Ol X-Cops guarding my house and surrounding me everytime I went out in public, I probably would not need a gun for self defense either.
Rich, arrogant pricks who dont give a sh*t about you and me down here in Dog Patch.
Strip away their ARMED guards then see what they say.
    Arrogant, privledged, ignorant, pricks.
Defend YOURSELF OR STFU or go back where you came from.
Or come live with me for a month.
    See what OUR reality is.
    Get a Clue.
    This aint Ireland or Hollywood.

  • MarkOwen September 22, 2014, 8:45 am

Take your sorry ass back to Ireland, we don’t need your advice and bag up all your movies, they won’t be watched in my household ever again!

  • skipnclair September 22, 2014, 8:44 am

Well thats great and God gave us all free will, and the right to defend ourselves and whom ever else we decide to defend. He gave us the right to choose how we would defend ourselves, And he gave this bozo the right not to defend himself as in free will. But he did not give you or anyone else the right to take away our free will and do as we wish. So either obey not only the law of God, but the constitution and shut up and just make movies. If your so adamant about your stand may I suggest you place a sign on your house, car and yard that you have no guns, and do not think people should own them and set the great a perfect example you claim is fight. I will never view your movies again.

  • Dave Kane September 22, 2014, 8:39 am

Stupid Hypocrite! Another Peirs Morgan! Please leave and go back to your safe Country like he did.
Damn liberal foreigners come here, make their millions and feel they can decide for us. He makes movies professing gun violence and then speaks anti gun. That’s like me hating the Taliban and then cutting my neighbors head off!

  • Mikey September 22, 2014, 8:34 am

Remember Jim Carey (Canadian) shooting his mouth off about the movie he just made but decided the gun violence was too great so he would not promote? Movie was Kick-ass 2. Yep, another actor I will not watch anymore!

  • Dan September 22, 2014, 8:24 am

WE… each and every gun owner are responsible. Think about it, each and every business and individual that speaks out against gun ownership should be boycotted. But we do not do that, WE buy their products, buy tickets to see their movies and books. While I do support their right to voice their views, we have a right and a duty to let each and every one of the BUSINESSES, POLITICIANS and OTHERS we will not visit your stores or businesses, vote for you or purchase your products. How many of us are standing behind Kroger, letting them know we support their stance? This is where we as gun owners have power… use it!!!

    • Frank September 22, 2014, 5:51 pm

      Very Well Said Dan

    • Russ September 23, 2014, 3:10 am

I have and practice your views on boycott.
I also emailed Kroger with a heart felt thank you.

      • Slick-Willy September 25, 2014, 10:47 am

Screw Kroger. and Target. and Panerra Bread. and ANY other company that has a “policy” against having a firearm on their premises. Know this Russ, regardless of their “policy”, I’ll still have my weapon on me. Right next to you in the aisle, at the next table, in the car parked beside you….you get the idea. They asked me to leave it at home and after careful consideration and soul searching I said FUCK ‘EM, it’s go’n with me. Policy my ass. I’ll certainly try to limit my support to Constitution-friendly retailers, but I will shop at one of these liberal hell holes WHILE CARRYING MY GUN when I find it personally necessary. Guess they can take my frequent shopper/discount card if they catch me.

  • John Francoeur September 22, 2014, 8:05 am

Was a fan…not any more. If you don’t like our law’s and our rights go back to Ireland you hypocrite.

  • mb September 22, 2014, 7:50 am

What do you expect from a numnuts who’s entire career is spent pretending to be someone else. Remember it’s just an act. Same holds true with most of these self absorbed Hollyweird types. Almost nobody to watch anymore, sick of these sissies pretending to to “tough guys”. Oh well, frees up time for the range…

  • James September 22, 2014, 7:44 am

Liam is a good actor, but remember, his script is written by a writer and he does not have to think just spew forth his lines and do a little acting and all is well. He is from Ireland where guns and killing for British soldiers was ongoing for 25-30 years?? He can enjoy the freedoms of our country without fear of being caught in a crossfire with the IRA and British regulars. The statement ““Every day we’re seeing some kid running rampant in a school.” is so uninformed that it sickens me. I will never again view any movies he stars in.

  • volf September 22, 2014, 7:37 am

I really liked his movies I thought he was going to be the real thing just lost a fan a viewer and his vopsnys and sponcers support he nerds to wake up

  • DanDaley September 22, 2014, 7:18 am

No longer a fan. What Neeson doesn’t want to recognize is that it is liberals/socialists who set up the welfare system that has made tens of millions dependent on the state. They have also created the “anything goes, me-first” atmosphere in this country, where morality and self-restraint are virtually unknown. This is the deadly combination that gives us gang-bangers and other forms of lawlessness. Furthermore, if you take out the 5 deadliest cities in the US (Chicago, Philadelphia, Memphis, etc.) you suddenly have one of the very LEAST violent countries on the planet! Not to mention the thousands of rapes, murders, home invasions, that are impeded every year by an honest person with a firearm stopping some bad guy who is a product of the liberals instant-gratification society. No, Liam Neeson, you are just a socialist tool and should take your socialist ideology elsewhere.

  • William September 22, 2014, 7:13 am

well well well. Remember that idiot Sylvester Stallone ? While starring in and promoting his movie “bullet to the head” he comes out and basically said the same thing that, that IDIOT liam neeson says. I truly don’t understand any of these people. If you don’t have anything constructive to say, STFU! Oh, I’m all for shipping these idiots to the front lines in the desert.

  • avlisk September 22, 2014, 7:09 am

Stupid, ignorant, or evil. Same old story from all of these gun-grabbers.

  • Linda September 22, 2014, 7:06 am

I am sorely disappointed in him ! However as an actor he follows many others that seem to think just because they play a part in a movie they seem to know everything about everything. NOT SO THERE ALWAYS PLAYING OTHER PEOPLE SO WHO KNOW WHAT THEY ARE REALLY LIKE IN THE FIRST PLACE ?
I will never support another film of his by going and spending what our small retirement allotted date nite funds to the movies we spend each Tuesday. 🙁

  • Dr. Strangelove September 22, 2014, 6:46 am

Typical libtard hypocrite. If he’d have kept his bleeding mouth shut I could enjoyed hid work, but not any more.

  • Brian September 22, 2014, 6:40 am

Hypocrite! How many millions has he made with not only guns, but violence in general in his movies?

And then to make a statement like this: “Every day we’re seeing some kid running rampant in a school. And do you know what the gun lobby’s response to Newtown was?…” Really, Everyday? If you’re so wanting to give Great Britain props, MOVE BACK THERE!

  • Allen Benge September 22, 2014, 6:37 am

I used to think Liam was a great actor. Well, my opinion just got changed. Liam, STFU! I will never again watch any production that Liam Neeson has anything to do with. He can friggin’ go back to Ireland, or better yet, Iraq.

    • Donnie January 4, 2015, 8:28 am

      I’m with you brother !!!

  • Animal September 22, 2014, 6:20 am

Take all the Fonda’s,Cooney’s and Neeson liberal’s over to Iraq, let them stand up on the front line or put them on the border. They’ll have a different tune to sing then.

    • Uncle Dave September 23, 2014, 12:18 am

Don’t forget “Sly”… back in the 1990’s me moved his family to England because “America was getting too dangerous with all of the guns.” After making movies like Rambo, Bullet to the Head, Demolition Man, The Specialist, Assassin… and continues to make movies like The Expendables…
Do an internet search on, “stallone gun control” and try not to be swamped by all the links…

Neeson is talking garbage. Target shooting with pistols was banned – not “overnight” but over a period of 18 months – with a range of exceptions. Perhaps Neeson would wet his panties if I told him that I, a resident of the UK, own and shoot breech loading handguns quite legally. I find that those who want tougher gun laws usually do not have the first idea of what the law is. Another word for them would be loud mouthed morons.

  • Ticked September 18, 2014, 1:43 pm

Boycott Hollywood in all it’s forms. Until you starve this beast, this sort of spew will continue.

    • Uncle Dave September 23, 2014, 12:11 am

I’m with you ‘Ticked’. As much as I like movies, and have since I was a teenager, the tripe coming out of Hollywierd is crap at best. Most of it is sequels, prequels, remakes of 70’s and 80’s TV shows and/or comic books. I still buy DVDs for home viewing but the vast majority are the movies I remember from my youth (the 70’s, 80’s and some of the older ‘classic’ movies; WWII movies with John Wayne, Charlton Heston, Henry Fonda, James Coburn, Glenn Ford, Hal Holbrook, Robert Mitchum, Cliff Robertson, Robert Wagner)
Hollywierd just had one of it’s worst summers on record. I doubt it but MAYBE they will get the hint…
For some insight read the excellent book, “Primetime Propaganda: The True Hollywood Story of How the Left Took Over Your TV” by Ben Shapiro. He interviews old time Hollywood along with more current players who come right out and say, “Yes, they are trying to reshape American thinking” about guns, gays, socialism, and more… At least they admit it!

  • C. Green September 18, 2014, 10:19 am

  • Ted September 18, 2014, 7:23 am

““Every day we’re seeing some kid running rampant in a school.”
Every day? Every day? Really? Where?

“And do you know what the gun lobby’s response to Newtown was? The National Rifle Association’s official response was ‘If that teacher had been armed…’ It’s crazy,”
Uhm, no, it is not crazy. What is crazy is that people endowed with intelligence and common sense cannot see that that is, in fact, the correct response.

You may be a good actor, Mr. Neeson, but you sure are stupid, ignorant at best.

    • Dave September 22, 2014, 7:19 am

Yes, every day is probably correct. Of course that counts pop-tarts and pieces of paper with corners torn off. But yes, those are all now considered dangerous weapons in the eyes of our educators.

    • Rob September 22, 2014, 12:37 pm

That’s right! You don’t see people attacking Police Stations or National Guard Armories!

  • Skip September 17, 2014, 8:37 am

    • Rob September 22, 2014, 12:34 pm

    I’m not now.

He and his liberal need to go back to England, where they belong.

    • john books September 17, 2014, 5:32 pm

Amen Brother…no longer a fan his works. it’s interesting his last four movies were with using guns…killing bad guy’s on the big screen. He made his fortunes killing and pretending with the gun. What a hypocrite.

      • Rattlerjake September 22, 2014, 5:47 am

It’s important to understand WHY these libturd actors promote this socialist agenda. They truly believe that when government controls everything that they (supporters of libturdism) will be rewarded with total freedom, unlike the rest of the populace. Why they are too stupid to understand is that when socialism/communism takes over, as with Hilter, they will no longer be needed and be eliminated.

Neesom should be asked why he insists on staying in America, rather than Ireland; could it be that crime is out of control and that it is far safer here? I’d also like to know if he owns any firearms; my money is on yes!

        • Robin 'Roblimo' Miller September 22, 2014, 11:58 am

Sigh. Calling people names, like libturd, will not get them to agree with you. Since I’m a liberal in the classic sense, same as America’s founding fathers (and Abigail Adams and the other founding mothers), I get a little tired of the right-wing name calling.

I own several guns, I like them. But I know people who are just plain crazy, the kind you expect to open up on their families, neighbors, and our local sheriff’s deputies one day. Can’t we work to find a way to keep guns away from the crazies? We will never succeed 100%, as the Newtown shootings showed once again, but can’t we work toward less gun harm and more gun good?

          • James Calkins September 22, 2014, 3:51 pm

Robin, these same “people you know, that you expect to open up on their families neighbors and local Sherriff’s deputies one day”, is the exact, primary, numero uno, A number one reason the Second Amendment is a right. You say “your a lib”, “You like guns”, “You own guns”, bla, bla, bla. Do you love and with you life support the US Constitution? Do you love and support with your life the Bill of Rights? They were conceived and enacted to give you the liberty to be a blinded liberal. You don’t see the clear fact that the people you know (all or mostly fellow liberals I willing to bet) who are plain crazy are who the second amendment allows you to protect yourself from. If you do own guns, why for an instant would you contemplate the loss of the ability to protect yourself and your loved ones from the crazies you already know. Let alone the really evil humans we let live amongst us for no reason other than political correctness. IE: “Votes”. Robin I hope you really think a bit more deeply about your point. Gun harm is done by those who don’t abide by the LAW of the Land. The US Constitution! More Gun Good? More guns GOOD! Save yourself. I’ll be too busy saving myself to worry about you when the time comes.

          • rbrittne September 22, 2014, 10:41 pm

miller you are a typical liberal…..You DARE to accuse right wingers of name calling???? Gimme a break!!! YOU libtards specialize in name calling….You thrive on name calling….And you don’t even have to be a conservative to be on the receiving end of the name game of libtards like yourself! Just mention God….or criticize a criminal of the wrong color…or God forbid…..cite the constitution or bible and get ready to hear some name calling….Lets face it…People of the left leaning liberal thinking variety are really disturbed individuals…..They don’t think normally. Only libtards seriously believe that if you insist on voters having to prove who they are through a voter ID…..your a racist! Only libtards believe that kids need to get written permission to take an aspirin in school….but call you all kinds of names if you think these same kids need a parents permission to get an abortion! Only libtards believe that young school boys should be suspended from school for giving a girl a kiss on the cheek, but allow perverted “sexual diversity” classes to be mandatory in grade school. miller you should sut up about right wingers because you are of a brain and moral challenged group yourself.

          • Slick-Willy September 25, 2014, 12:36 am

            Robin –
they (ie libturds, shoulder-biters, libtards, etc.) are NEVER going to agree with rational, law abiding, sane people anyway, so why not call them out for being exactly what they are ? The difference between us and them is quite simple actually – THEY want to control US. Period.
THEY lie about their true intentions, which is the complete abolishment of anyone’s right to bear arms. Period.
WE couldn ‘t care less whether THEY want to own a firearm or not. If you don’t want one great, so be it.
WE are sick and tired of other people….THEM trying to control US, tell US how to live, what to think, etc etc etc etc.
STOP !!! Leave US the hell alone, mind your own damn business, live your life and let US do the same without incessant interference, primarily in the form of more ridiculous government control.
            Thank you –
A true independent seeking personal freedom and LIBERTY

          • KGBrown November 11, 2014, 6:51 am

But who will decide if you can have a gun? And who will oversee the deciders?

          • Donnie January 4, 2015, 8:16 am

I think the name calling comes from pure frustration from people that have to listen to the crap that comes out of these AntiGun people. I am very tired defending my constitution and second amendment right. Where does anyone get off thinking they have the right to mess with anyone or anyone’s rights? Obama and thugs started this ball rolling and his reasons for disarming all Americans is to help his Taliban brothers take over this country. All you leftist and democrates will be in the same slaved controlled FEMA camps as everyone else when this goes down. What are the leftist going to say when law abiding citizens are disarmed and crime goes up immedeitly? When these gun bans keep citizens from the horrors of gunmen kicking in house doors and killing unarmed people? Sound like a bunch of bull? That’s exactly what happened within 24 hours of Australia giving up their firearms. Shooting’s went up 30% in the first 24hiur time period! only an ignorant person whom is unfamiliar with the real facts would think gun control will reduce gun violence, it won’t!! Then what? What are all the people that think they have the right to change other people and take their rights going to say? My next door neighbor said if I’m right he’s coming over to my house… Wrong!! … Here’s something all you leftist might want to pass around…. This whole anti gun thing is meant to cause harm to the American people by the terrorist Obama, if it wasn’t for him this wouldn’t even be a topic! You may think I’m totally wrong and that’s fine but what if I’m right?? All you Dems and leftist will be a victim just the same as us reps. Since ya’ll have to constantly shoot your mouths off try getting the message out to live and let live. How about together we come up with a way to disarm the killers and shooters out there that gun bans won’t stop as they don’t get their guns from places that requires ID and personal information, they get them off the streets from gun runners like AG Eric Holder and Obama…. This whole fast and furious is part of Obama’s AntiGun scheme.

you stated can’t we find a way to get guns away from the crazies. That is what this government wants to hear–Who are the crazies???To them it’s every one that owns a gun.If these people have’nt broken any laws they have every right to own a gun.Whos to say your not the crazy??After all you stated your a liberal;they are the only ones thats after our freedom. Wake up friend why be with the right or left stay in the middle make up your own mine they are good and bad people on both sides of the isle.by the way have you heard any repubs call for gun control?? Look at Germany Hitler wanted to get the guns away from the crazies,How did that turn out?? I do agree with you on the name calling——And old viet-man vet—USMC 1/1

          • Mike Swisher January 4, 2015, 9:32 pm

Amen. As gun owners we need to start using more common sense.

          • bobert January 5, 2015, 4:11 am

I’m sorry, but no. I’m a believer, like Thomas Jefferson, that freedom is messy and painful. Therefore freedom must be maintained even if it is used for wrongs. Just because someone might be considered ‘bad’ does not revoke their right to guaranteed rights like the 2nd amendment in my mind. I’d rather worry about “crazies” with guns than have anyone be told they can’t have them and have the precedent for gun control arise and have an ever encroaching ban on guns for people with “problems”.

          • Ardvark January 5, 2015, 7:12 pm

Less gun harm would require less liberal BS in our education system and numerous other areas of society and that is not going to happen anytime soon!

          • Dan January 7, 2015, 11:23 am

Newtown was a movie or scam or whatever you want to call it. It was a hoax carried out to ban and confiscate guns in this country by having the government run media play the many stupid people here in the USA. It was a total hoax and many stupid and naive people bought it.

          • deanbob January 8, 2015, 9:29 am

Robin, you should expound on your position as a “liberal”. I assume you are going by the definition used before progressives hijacked the term, and not the modern definition. One of my old bosses always said one can draw more flies with honey than vinegar. The problem is controlling ones visceral reaction to the lies, half truths, and BS often spewed by the left/progressives.

          • Steve January 10, 2015, 9:05 pm

How about instead of trying to keep guns away from the crazies, we find a way to keep the crazies away from everyone?

            How about that, libturd?

          • robert July 15, 2015, 3:19 pm

I think you are full of shit, it you have guns you should stand against any form of GC because it is only used to take guns from this type or that type of person and pretty soon you will be their target, and that you can count on !

Until I see a report, that shows evidence to the contrary, I won’t believe that either party ( right or left ) is committing more gun violence! Crazy people aren’t of one kind of political party, nor one kind of religion. Just look at the big picture!

He makes a living shooting, beating up, killing, and brutalizing people on the big screen as an actor with a gun(s)… what a hypocrite and a liar and not a real American in the true sense of the word…citizen or patriot!!!

        • James Bushart January 4, 2015, 8:24 pm

LIAM SHOULD BE A BETTER EXAMPLE HIMSELF, HE SHOULD STOP BEING PART OF VIOLENT MOVIES, THEY PROMOTE MORE VIOLENCE THAN THE SITUATIONS OF CHILDREN WITH HAND GUNS IN THE LONG RUN. GET OFF YOUR HIGH HORSE LIAM. YOU PROMOTE VIOLENCE.

      • D Hicks September 22, 2014, 8:48 am

I’m with you He’s a BIG hypocrite. He needs to keep his mouth shut and keep his un- American ideas to himself .Go somewhere that he doesn’t have the the freedom of speech.

        • Jesse September 22, 2014, 12:04 pm

Yeah what a hypocrite, when he is playing roles in movies in which he uses firearms to kill a crap load of people. I am just wondering also how many firearms does he own. If he does not like it here then he needs to get the hell out and go back to Ireland. I also wish people would finally realize that it’s not the “GUN” it’s the “IDIOT” behind the firearm that is the danger. The firearm is just a tool without the human action the “GUN” will not hurt anyone. Weapon is not dangerous. The cause of danger is ignorance and carelessness.

      • Thomas September 24, 2014, 8:38 pm

fuck him move your ass back to England oh that’s right he doesn’t want to pay the high income taxes there , but here am sure he has good tax shelters and he has been here earning millions is he even a citizen, and if he is not get the hell out.

      • tom January 4, 2015, 1:30 pm

Here again a rich puissant who most likely has armed guards to protect him, telling the people who pay to watch this dumb
puissant they are not worth protecting yourself. More and more these rich Bloomberg want to be who have armed guards, take the side of the criminal, knowing that if you take guns away only those that are criminals will have open season on the rest of the unprotected who don’t have armed guards protecting them.
Ireland was a fine example of making sure guns were kept only by the IRA or some other criminal element.

      • 2A Supporter January 4, 2015, 2:04 pm

Neeson is just another hollywood poser that lives a hollywood dream world. Makes his living playing with guns but not man enough to accept them in real life. But then what do you expect, he’s just an actor.

    • What I know September 19, 2014, 11:58 am

He was born in BALLYMENA COUNTY ANTRIM NORTHERN IRELAND!

He needs to go back IRELAND and take his liberal and views with him.

Damn near every show he has been in, has involved guns and firearms!

      Shows like this.
      A-TEAM,
      BATTLESHIP,
      NON STOP,
      STAR WARS,
      UNKNOWN,
      TAKEN 1, 2, AND 3,
      A WALKING AMONG THE TOMBSTONES,
A MILLION WAYS TO DIE IN THE WEST,
      THE DEAD POOL,
      A PRAYER FOR DYING,
      NEXT TO KIN,
      SERAPHIM FALLS

      • Dennis C September 24, 2014, 12:49 pm

Sounds allot like Clint Eastwood ay made millions off guns on the big screen but in real life feelings are different! Plus more kids are hurt or killed by getting mauled by the family dog than they are with guns my niece was just scared all over her face and head the other day don’t see anyone trying to get vicious dogs out of American hands do u!

        • Thomas September 24, 2014, 8:40 pm

I think you are wrong about the Clint Eastwood remark, he is a supporter of gun rights

      • David January 9, 2015, 5:34 pm

That is the only way he can make a living in Hollywood. You have to come out as anti-gun.

    • scott September 22, 2014, 9:08 am

Hmm.. I like his movies, his liberal agenda not so much. But that’s Hollywood for ya. So I have read most of the comments here, being a marine, deployed twice with 1/6 I know what I fought for over there. 2amend understandably is clean as day as its interpretation and hell I ain’t giving any of my @$ ( amount of guns) but there are more important stories than another Hollywood actor against 2 amendment. Come on guys, watch his movies because they entertain you. Not because he supports the 2 amendment. Haha you all totally boycotting everything cause it is against something is sad. They ain’t gonna take your guns, it just too hard and cost effective and would probably start a war. I feel like this post and a lot of the NRA agenda now is to scare gun owners into thinking everyone is out to take your guns. Stop being so ignorant and live life. Buy a gun go shoot and be happy.

      • henry knox September 22, 2014, 10:50 am

It certainly doesn’t hurt for us to make our values and principles heard. This is America and we the people are responsible for the direction our gov’t goes. If we sit and take it without letting anyone know how we feel then we are in danger of being taken for granted. Use the first amendment and 2A or lose it.

        • Rob September 22, 2014, 12:08 pm

“we the people are responsible for the direction our gov’t goes.”? Really? That ship sailed with the Industrial Revolution. The Big Banks, Energy, and Wall St run this country 100%! Don’t be fooled!

      • callmeBob September 22, 2014, 11:26 am

Second: Its called living a principled life, believe in it live it. I too served; however, while I appreciate your counsel I prefer to follow my path.

        Thank you again,

      • Joe McHugh September 22, 2014, 1:04 pm

Hey Scott, you seem to be somewhat confused. “They ain’t gonna take your guns,…..”
Well, “they” include Dianne Feinstein, Senator from California, and she said the following.
If I could have gotten 51 votes in the Senate of the United States for an outright ban, picking up every one of them, (firearms), Mr. and Mrs. America, turn them all in, I would have done it.”
Feinstein is not alone in the Senate, her fellow Democrats in the Senate were sure that they could pass the “Background Check” bill and were shocked when it narrowly failed to pass.
That bill was put on the shelf by Harry Reid to bring up latter for another vote when another mass killing occurs somewhere in the United States.
You might say so what, it’s just a background check issue, right? Wrong, it was a gun registration bill that required the identification of any firearm sold in the United Sates. Again, you might say big deal. Actually, it would be a big deal because any move to confiscate firearms must start with a list showing who owns firearms.
“They ain’t gonna take your guns,…..” Really? Then why are they so interested in the firearms that competent, law-abiding adult citizens purchase? What possible reason does obama have for gun registration of the guns owned by upstanding Americans?
YOU SHOULD KNOW WHY! All tyrants and would be tyrants like obama understand that you cannot abuse the rights of an armed populace.
If it matters, I am also a former Marine.

        • Frank September 22, 2014, 5:24 pm

Thank you Joe McHugh for your service and you comment.

        • Vic September 22, 2014, 7:54 pm

And, if she and her ilk and goons (ATF, ETC…) would be well served to skip my house! I too am a veteran of Afghanistan and I’ve given enough, so I ain’t given them s% $* else to feinstein or any other government f%#*!

      • Steve A September 22, 2014, 3:59 pm

Apparently you don’t live in Connecticut like I do. Virtually every semi automatic rifle on the market is considered an “assault weapon” here. I woke up one morning to find that because I didn’t register my “assault rifle” with the government before Jan. 1(how I managed to misinterpret that part of the law I’ll never know) I am now a felon. I am also guilty of about 20 more felonies because I didn’t register my “high capacity”(which came standard with my firearms by the way) MAGAZINES. I now have to either sell all of them, or move them out of the state. If I get pulled over in my car, and have 13 rounds, or even just 11 in my glock, I’m guilty of a felony, and will lose my gun rights(well, the REST of them). I can’t even carry my 13 round magazine with only 10 rounds in it! I had to buy all new magazines, and I still can’t even carry a spare magazine! The government here says I can only have ten rounds at a time to protect my life family. Since I didn’t know I was supposed ask the government for their permission to keep something I already owned and bought legally, if someone breaks into my home they only allow me to have 10 rounds at a time. Same for anyone else who didn’t have those guns or magazines before the ban. Even worse, when a local gun group brought the state to court over it, the judge ruled that the law DID violate(infringe on) our second amendment rights, but that it was ok because public safety was more important. The judge decided the law was unconstitutional, and still didn’t repeal it! What planet am I living on?!
By the way, I totally understand what you are saying, and I am socially liberal myself, and I hate the idea of having to vote for a republican simply because I am in favor of gun rights. I agree that the name calling, close-mindedness, and stubbornness doesn’t really help anything, and it can get particularly frustrating on these types of forums, especially when the conspiracy theories start flying. Which unfortunately seems to happen a lot.

      • DR_T September 22, 2014, 6:19 pm

Ah yes another low information type,, I was there in your shoes long before you wore shoes,, Every day another LIB Dumbocrat tries to infringe on your 2A rights,, They will be coming for you shortly, or as fast as you can claim PTSD!!! Like the LIB mentioned above,, The crazies with guns he knows–(Marines with PTSD!) So claim it to get your check now and your guns will be gone soon,, They will piece it together soon enough!!

      • Evan January 4, 2015, 11:00 am

Were you with 1/6 in Fallujah in 2005, relieved by 2/6 (I think )? I was 2/7, if you were there, our AO bordered yours.

    • henry knox September 22, 2014, 10:46 am

It is so difficult to even find a movie I can watch these days. When actors turn their job into political propaganda I can’t in good conscience watch their movies. This is one of the most offensive statements I’ve seen in a while. If I had any of his movies on DVD I would burn them.

      • Bob September 22, 2014, 3:49 pm

To bad we can’t give a “thumbs up” to good comments. Yours is one of the best posted. I wonder how well it would be taken if I went to Great Britain and started bitching about the Royal Family? Liam can go back across the pond for all I care, and take Piers Morgan with him.

    • Bill Richardson September 22, 2014, 2:12 pm

Isn’t it interesting that many of the proponents of gun control aren’t actually from this country? Liam’s words are only important to the misguided sheep that worship the ground upon which he walks. Liam, and the rest of the outsiders that have graciously been allowed to remain in our great country, are welcome to go back to their homelands and deal with the rotten conditions that ultimately guided them to our shores in the first place. Have a nice flight!!

    • T. McDevitt September 22, 2014, 3:22 pm

If there is anyone out there that thinks gun confiscation won’t or cannot happen..
Do a search for: (Hurricane Katrina Gun Confiscation) That was only practice..

    • David September 22, 2014, 6:03 pm

Well, I was also a fan until I read this. Just went to the movies yesterday and saw Walking Among the Tombstones . Well, he just buried himself as far as I am concern. Go back to where you came from. And also keep your mouth shut because you here in The Land of the Free and the Home of the Brave, and that’s not an Act. You have no right to come to the USA and bad mouth anything. Just Go Back and stay there.

    • James Mason, Colonel, US Army, Retired September 23, 2014, 1:07 pm

The right to bear arms as clearly stated by our fore fathers is contigent on a well regulated militia. That means in todays society, the military. We do not need protection from our own government, we are our own government, Too many armed people are not competent to opoerate their weapon and many more are noT competent to tie their own shoes. Guns as anyone who has ever served is a life taker. Newtown and Virginia Tech should have been the turning point to sanity.

      • Slick-Willy September 25, 2014, 1:16 am

As for YOUR interpretation of the Constitution, thank God it is a MINORITY opinion. As for your opinion that “we don’t need protection from our own government”….REALLY ? While I appreciate and respect your service, I question how much you know about world history. I actually hope your entire post was made with intense sarcasm. I am abundantly proficient with every weapon I own and Newtown and Sandy Hook should have nothing to do with my right to own anything I damn well choose to own. There is no cure for crazy and there are enough laws on the books now to prevent ANY future firearm-related incidents IF a law has that ability. They don’t though do they ? Furthermore we can’t un-invent firearms. Or knives. Or anything else that might be used as a weapon or a “lifetaker”. Hell, my Chevrolet truck qualifies too, should I load all my guns up and turn it in ? To who ? I don’t think so Colonel.

      • J Staard January 5, 2015, 9:20 pm

Well, those people who not competent to tie their own shoes are also a large part of “our own government” so I do want to be able to protect myself from them. And, militia is not equal to military. GFY, colonel.

    • GPK October 11, 2014, 4:53 pm

I agree with John Books. He comes to our country so he can make movies that have guns in them and makes a hell of a lot of money doing so because of our rights and then has the gull to say guns should be controled more. To hell with him. I’m not going to let him make anymore money off from me when I watch his movies. Go back to England where you belong. See how many movies you make in England where you are the good guy with a gun? Exactly, “What a hypocrite.” to quote John.

    • Donnie January 4, 2015, 8:21 am

Damn! I used to like him!! What a ignorant maggot!! Liam Neeson WHO???

    • WillB January 4, 2015, 8:54 am

      “liberal” what?

    • Greg January 4, 2015, 9:51 am

I was looking forward to the new taken movie, not now. I may still watch it when it comes out at red box. (For rent)
If the commie wood elite believes in gun control, they should never make another movie that uses guns, or weapons of any kind. No, they won’t do that, that would cost them money and everyone knows who the true rich in America are…..democrats……. But they always talk about the republican rich stealing from the poor people…BS

    • Jack January 4, 2015, 11:41 am

I couldn’t live with myself making my fame and fortune promoting liberal philosophy. How can so many liberals gain wealth by promoting conservative ideals then turn a curse us?

    • Wiley Cloud January 4, 2015, 2:39 pm

GO Back Home. This is the USA

    • Dan January 4, 2015, 2:45 pm

I’ll think twice now about buying a ticket to his movies after learning he’s a idiot. Liam’s views have absolutely no factual basis which of course qualifies him as a liberal.

    • Dave January 4, 2015, 4:01 pm

Liam Neeson & the rest of the movie stars who are aganist the Second Amendment should immediately dismiss their bodyguards & security teams who carry guns. After a few minutes in the public, I’ll bet they’ll change their Second Amendment opinions very quick!

    • Bruce January 4, 2015, 5:07 pm

Just like Sean Connery, another embarrassment! What hipocracy! What ignorance. Hell MOST of his movies involve firearms. He should be banned from American audiences. I would at least respect him somewhat if he stated his position and then refused to take a role in which he used firearms. I am aadding his DVD / Blue Rays to the trash heap…actually I am going to recycle them as targets. Passing this on to ALL of my contacts as is my right of Free Speech you F&%!king Lib-Tard!

    • mtman2 January 4, 2015, 7:20 pm

    • H8Californiagunlaws February 26, 2015, 6:16 pm

WTF. I don’t have any problem with intelligent gun ownership and responsible gun legislation. I gotta big problem with those (criminals) whom do not abide by the law having the law protect them after wrong doing. If you want or need a gun for whatever reason, as long as it is a good reason, you should enjoy your freedom. If you’ve already demonstrated an inability to understand, comprehend and/or follow the rule of law, then you effectively should forfeit any rights to guns because you’re not using them as a tool for anyother reason but to have a weapon to perpetrate violence or intimidation. The name calling is something that should stop. It makes otherwise angry logical thinking persons sound absurd. It sounds corny, but…”criminalize gun and only criminals will have them” is the truth. Let’s keep cool heads and realize the issue is with the individual choices people make. Unstable people and violent offenders will not be deterred by not having a gun. They will utilize other weapons then we’ll be arguing if only restaurant uers should own knives, professional baseball players should swing bats, etc. It’s a matter of common sense and the ability tomorrow live in society in a reasonable manner. Not to mention, A2 was carefully thought out and continues to have a justifiable reason for its continued existence.
