Light Up Your Glock! Crimson Trace Announces Laserguard Pro for Glocks - NRA 2017

Crimson Trace’s Laserguard Pro!

Two products that need no introduction: Glock and Crimson Trace’s Laserguard Pro.  The king of the polymer pistol and the king of the laser/light industry.  At NRA 2017, Crimson Trace announced that they now have a lineup of Laserguard Pros for your Glocks!

Below are the details on which model number you need to match with your Glock.

  • The LL-807 series Crimson Trace® Laserguard Pro laser sights and light combinations are designed to fit securely onto numerous Glock pistols, including: Third Generation 17, 19, 22, 23, 31, 32, 34, 35, 37 and 38. By itself, it’s really, really light.

The Laserguard Pro combines a red or green laser sight with a 150-Lumen LED white light in a unit that is NOT like that carbuncle on your grandmother’s chin.  In other words, it’s not an eyesore and it actually looks and feels like it belongs on the gun.

There are four modes of operation with the Laserguard Pro, laser + light, laser only, light only and laser and light strobe.  Users can adjust for windage and elevation, there is a master on/off switch and two hours of battery life.

What really makes the Laserguard Pro standout from the competition is the ease to which one can use it. Your finger naturally falls on the button in a conventional firing grip.  Once you get accustomed to having it on your carry piece or duty gun, when you handle a gun without the Laserguard Pro the gun actually feels naked.

150 lumens is only marginally bright enough to cause an effective ‘flash blindness’ for tactical purposes. And not that good at all in sunny daylight through sunglasses. For that kind of money it should also be at least 600 lumens which will instantly blind a person in broad daylight even wearing sunglasses and sustain long enough to do what you want with them.

Why Crimson Trace? Stream Light is a far superior light/laser, and Black Hawk makes SERPA holsters for GLOCKS with Stream Light.

For those that like the grip the way it is I guess this would be all right. For me the rear mounted laser changes the grip just enough for me to keep using the model 19. without it I don’t care for glocks grip angle one bit
