Magpul is rolling out a fresh new look with their Fall 2018 apparel catalog. “Designed and focused around the shooting lifestyle, we’ve created seven unique apparel items that support the carriage, movement, and comfort you need when you want to be out in the elements but don’t want them to take control of your activities,” said Magpul.
The new catalog features an everyday wear series of shirts, four new styles of jackets and a new line of pants. They’ve also got their new line of “shackets” which are reversible, with a laid-back shirt on one side and a tactically-styled jacket on the other.
“We’ve invested heavily in the material, construction, fit and features of our fall line, and we’re bringing you the Magpul quality and value you’re used to getting from our firearms accessories to our apparel,” added Magpul.
Magpul Logger Shirt LS (MSRP: $89.95)
Logger shirts are available in four plaid styles including charcoal grey, india blue, rifle green and rust orange.
They’re made from a lightweight, stretchy synthetic wool that stays warm even when it’s wet. It has timeless look that fits a lot of everyday living.
The Logger has a relaxed fit for outdoors activities, so you can wear it from work straight to the range or the field.
The pockets are secured to help keep you from losing things and prevent dirt or debris from getting in.
Magpul Commando Zip Neck Sweater (MSRP: $119.95)
This is a modern take on World War II-era sweaters favored by European soldiers and special forces. Like the Logger it’s constructed from light but warm synthetic wool.
The zip neck lets wearer lock in heat while still making it easy to take off and put back on. It has a tighter “articulated” fit that still lets wearers reach and turn for people who carry concealed.
The Commando sweater is available in two classic patterns, black and green or black and grey. The black reinforcing material runs around the collar and down the sleeves.
Magpul Reversible Tech Logger Shacket (MSRP: $159.95)
“A fully reversible plaid shacket (shirt + jacket, it’s a thing), this garment serves as a tough plaid jacket on one side and a lightly insulated layer on the other,” says Magpul.
This reversible jacket is meant to give wearers the option of a tactical look or a more casual look. Because of the design it’s windproof whether you wear it one way or the other.
The Shacket has a sporting fit that lets you wear multiple layers underneath. It also has front hand pockets to keep you warm and carry extra little things.
It’s available in four patterns, grey plaid and black, orange plaid and dark blue, light orange plaid and orange and light green plaid and light green.
Magpul Light Insulated Jacket and Hoody (MSRP: $179.95 and $199.95 )
The Light Insulated Jacket, available as a regular jacket or a hoodie, it meant for stormy weather. It has a windproof, hydrophobic shell layer to keep wearers warm and dry even in adverse conditions.
It’s still meant for comfort. While it may not provide the same type of protection that extreme weather gear provides, it’s meant to be comfortable and mobile.
Both styles have zippered front pockets and the hoodie versions have adjustable hoods. The standard model is available in black, dark blue and bering grey. The hoodies come in black and grey and two-tone bering grey.
Magpul Softshell Utility Pant (MSRP: $114.95)
The Utility Pant is tailored for concealed-carry through the fall and winter months. It features internal pockets sized for 15-round double-stack magazines, large pocket knives and has an additional thigh pocket for other gear. The pants have secure hand pockets with an internal phone pocket as well.
Like the other Magpul gear these are made to move around in. Wherever possible Magpul tried to eliminate seams and ensure freedom of movement.
The Softshell Utility Pant is available in grey with black highlights or cypress with sand highlights.
Magpul Light Insulated Hybrid (MSRP: $189.95)
And lastly Magpul has got a pullover hooded jacket for this fall. Like the other new outerwear it’s built to flex. Magpul also kept chest rigs, binocular harnesses and other chest packs in mind with the pullover. It has a wide waist to fit over belts and holsters.
Like the Light Insulate Jacket the pullover is wind- and water-resistant, it dries fast and it looks good at the same time.
The Hybrid has two hand pockets and comes in black and grey or cypress and sand.

So the real question still needs to be answered. Do they make them for big guys? I need 3xl for the top because of my shoulders and still not be tailored like a potato sack? Just because I wear a 3xl does not mean I am fat. All my clothes are baggy because clothes companies think big people are fat.

As for quality, raygun knows not of what he speaks. This is the kind of stuff you bet your life on! The people that run that company are NOT messing around. Not keyboard bangers, but get out and git some action players.
Raygun, I’ve gotta disagree with you completely. For one I’m stoked Magpul factory moved to my home state of Wyoming. For two, I’ve bought a lotta Magpul products in my life and have only good things to say.
Hand pockets? We used to call those Air Force gloves.
Magpul is getting to big for it’s britches, and mine. I am never a fan of large corporations dominating the market… Most likely much of their clothing line are made in China, or another Asian country
. Remington is an example, getting swallowed up by Big Business. The product lacks quality control and produce lack luster, if not junk products..
