I’ve had the pleasure of visiting their booth at both SHOT Show and the NRA Annual Meetings & Exhibits over the years and I have to say that I always leave impressed.

In the video above, NRA news commentator Colion Noir had a chance to talk with Bianchin about Cabot, and specifically about the work, money, and creativity that went into producing the Big Bang 1911s.
For me, what’s most rewarding and inspiring about watching the video was not the matching pair of meteorite 911s (although they are stunning and beautiful), but Bianchin’s way of thinking. He is a guy who refuses to settle for the norm. He never stops creating and dreaming and thinking of new ways to raise the proverbial bar.
I’d like to see that dude craft a 1911 out of Hillary Clinton’s dentures.
the link in your article that says, “4.5 million years old meteorite” is wrong. it is actually a 4.5 billion year old(the age of our planet/solar system) meteorite.

First to make knives out of tungsten? Not unless he ha done it for many years.
I remember a guy at Fort Knox who made knives out of it back in the early 70’s.
He used a sabot round from an M-60 tank.

I’m not a huge 1911 fan, but these are some seriously sexy pistols!!!! Holy Crap!!! The term “Work of art” doesn’t do them justice. I REALLY like the ones you only get a glimpse of that have the blue-ish tint. AWESOME!!! Would probably pee my pants if I got to hold one of these…lol!!
