The sun is wicked and effects everything thermally and with UV rays. Even if these plastics containers are UV stabilized it would be best to only expose them to direct sunlight intermittently.

The greatest issue for me here in Colorado is UV degradation, so are they UV resistant?

    • Zupglick January 21, 2020, 9:38 am

Even if it is UV resistant, it’s gonna get HOT inside that case if it’s exposed to direct sunlight.

“UV” resistance is not about heat, it is about the plastic not decaying in the sunlight.

Untreated plastic becomes brittle and denigrates by “UV” rays…

A legitimate question…if not “UV” resistance treated, you don’t buy it unless you keep it out of the sunlight.

Didn’t see not one picture of a single case tied down in the bed of the truck like was described over and over in the column. Not sure why you’d say so much about a product abs not have a single picture showing how or if it actuality mounts down in a truck bed. Or like all of them dies it slide around and got the can and tail gate over and over as the gas peddle is pressed and the brakes applied? Or worse your guns or gear simply fly out for others to find some great free gifts? Who knows, since there’s no pictures.
