The argument against the Second Amendment is inherently illogical.  Mostly everyone knows this.  Including rabid anti-gunners.  No matter how you slice it, making it more difficult for good folks to defend themselves against lawbreakers doesn’t hold water.  Which is why gun grabbers have to rely on emotion to push their agenda.  It’s the only effective tool in their toolbox.  Everything else breaks down under scrutiny.

At no time are people’s emotions more heighten than when children are slaughtered at the hand of a psycho. By the same token at no time are people more credulous, more willing to abandon fact and reason and data-driven arguments to support misguided proposals.

No one knows this better than Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel.  For a refresher, this is the guy who famously quipped, “You never want a serious crisis to go to waste.  What I mean by that it’s an opportunity to do things you think you could not do before.”

Turns out that immediately following the massacre at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Connecticut, Emanuel was giving that very guidance to Arne Duncan, the then-Secretary of the U.S. Department of Education under President Obama.

Via the Freedom of Information Act, The Baltimore Post was able to obtain emails between the two men corresponding about how to exploit this tragedy to push gun control.

On December 16, 2012, in an email titled “CT Shootings,” Duncan asked Emanuel, “What are your thoughts?”

“Go for a vote this week before it fades. Tap peoples emotion. Make it simple assault weapons,” replied Emanuel.

“Yup- thanks,” said Duncan.

Emanuel also offered up this piece of advice, “When I did brady bill and assault weapons for clinton we always made it simple.  Criminals or war weapons.”

Ducan inquired about other anti-gun buzzwords, “Gun show loophole” and “Database” and “Cop-killer bullets” — with the question “Too complicated?”

“Cop killer maybe,” Emanuel said.  “The other no.”

“Got it,” said Duncan.

To put it mildly Rahm is a piece of dog shit who said ” Don’t let a good crises go to waste” meaning that’s when you introduce legislation that normally couldn’t get passed.

This scumbag should be in prison along with Obama, Clinton and the rest of there treasonist ilk.
