Dick’s Sporting Goods lost $150 million in sales as a result of the company’s anti-gun policies, according to a new report from Bloomberg. The loss amounted to 1.7 percent of the company’s overall revenue and has spurred the company to consider dropping hunting-related items entirely.

But Edward Stack, the company’s CEO and Virtue Signaler in Chief, said the move was worth it.

Anti-gun kingpin and gun-ban bankroller Michael Bloomberg said in a press conference on Tuesday that his alma mater, Johns Hopkins University, should have an armed private police force to defend students and faculty from the more unsavory elements of Baltimore’s crime-ridden streets.

Just weeks after a group of nuns and big-money investors forced Smith & Wesson and Ruger to account for their role in promoting “gun violence,” Wells Fargo took its considerable financial resources and threw them behind one of the world’s largest gunmakers, Sturm, Ruger & Co. The bank issued the company a $40 million line of credit last week, stunning members of the Interfaith Center on Corporate Responsibility, who had been working with investors to force gunmakers to address the “risks” inherent in its products’ association with gun-related violence.

“The American people know gun safety isn’t a right-or-left issue — it’s a life-or-death issue that our leaders need to address immediately. Voters of all stripes want stronger gun laws — and Everytown is going to redraw the electoral map in November,” said John Feinblatt, the president of Everytown for Gun Safety.
