Stag Arms had two new products at SHOT that are going to take a lot of the guesswork out of self-defense and 3-Gun competition for shooters who want “turn-key” solutions. The 2012 Executive Survivor’s Kit (ESK) is a special project done in partnership with Stag distributor LAN World and specifically marketed toward affluent people who have themselves, their family, and assets to protect during a “survival” situation. The kit is not set up for surviving a zombie apocalypse or an end of the world scenario, but instead for the more plausible scenario of being displaced for a few days by some disaster. I’ll be the first to admit that the whole “Katrina” thing has been done to death, but there never fails to be some new natural or domestic threat to make you realize that you need a gun. With social movements such as “occupiers” who think they’re somehow entitled to “their fair share” of what YOU own, I don’t blame people for being concerned about their safety.

Unfortunately, there are people who don’t give much thought to their responsibility when it comes to personal safety. And when they do have that epiphany, they may not know enough about guns, optics, ammunition or maintaining a gun to take good choices. For them, a “kit” such as the ESK that’s pre-loaded with essential or basic items makes sense.

So what’s in the ESK? To begin with, all of the stuff lives inside a military grade Pelican 1700 Long Case. I’ve used Pelican cases on several trips and have yet to find a baggage handler who has been able to mess one up. The foam inside is cut to keep things from sliding around and getting damaged and the case has more locking points than a Victorian-era chastity belt.

Inside is Stag’s Model 2 rifle, which is about as general purpose a rifle as you can get from Stag and that’s why it’s the right choice for this kit. It’s not the absolute perfect Stag for close quarters combat or medium range sniping, or anything in between, but it can do any–and more importantly, all–of those tasks in a pinch. Stag topped the gun with EOTech’s 517 red dot sight because the guys at Stag use EOTech sights themselves. Why? Because they’re quality sights and American made. What that sight gives you is a durable holographic unit that’s simple to use and easy to aim. It also uses AA batteries which should be easier to find in a survival situation than something more exotic. In the unlikely event the sight breaks, or the more likely event your battery dies, there are back up iron sights so be sure and sight in both the red dot and the iron sights.

Also included are two 30-round magazines (10-round where restricted) and 60 rounds of what Stag calls “quality” ammunition. At SHOT Show the ammunition was PMC Bronze, and I personally consider it quality ammunition.

The Pelican case will probably seal out any possibility of dust getting inside, but if it was me, I’d go ahead and load up both mags, top them with magazine covers, and keep them in their respective cut-out in the case. Properly tempered magazine springs will not take on a “set” when left compressed, so load them up and don’t worry about them; they will be good to go when you need them. That said, with the various magazines I personally keep loaded for my guns at home, I make it a practice to use them each time I go to the range. For me, it’s a matter of keeping ammunition fresh. Left boxed, ammunition will last forever, but in a magazine could be contaminated by any oil.

There is also a Gerber multi-tool, Stag spare AR-15 parts kit, a basic first aid kit, one MRE, a flashlight, spare batteries, Otis cleaning kit and sling inside the ESK. I priced what it would cost if you bought all of these items separately and put together your own ESK and found that there was some savings by buying the pre-assembled kitl

Arguing what should or should not be in a “survival” kit is good sport and will vary with your environment and circumstances. Keep in mind that if you ask a dozen experts what should be in such a kit, you’re going to get a dozen answers. There may be something in the ESK you personally don’t think is essential, and it may be missing something think you need. Bottom line is that it provides some basic needs in a one-stop-shop situation for those who want an immediate option in a survival situation.

Just as the ESK is a “turn-key” solution for personal defense, Stag’s 3G rifle takes all of the guesswork out of getting an AR set up for 3-Gun competition. Initially, the folks at Stag assembled a gun with the features they thought were the best for 3-Gun competition, and then sent that gun out to 3-Gun competitors for comment. Those 3-Gun shooters liked it, and since then Stag has two shooters participating in 3-Gun competition who constantly keep up on equipment and provide feedback.

Stag’s 3G rifle is the result of that experience and feedback. It has an 18-inch barrel because Stag wanted to have the shortest barrel possible and still have a rifle-length gas system. Something about ARs is that the shorter you make that gas system, the more you seem to give up reliability. With an 18-inch, fluted, stainless steel barrel, 3-Gun shooters enjoy the best of Stag’s reliability along with a nimble gun for moving from target to target. There is no chrome lining, as it can cause a gun to be less accurate than without.

Also helping to make the 3 G more maneuverable is a 15-inch fore end. Many 3-Gun shooters believe they can control the gun better and move it faster by holding as far out on the fore end as they can. This gun allows for even long-armed shooters to hold out far, and gives anyone plenty of holding position options. The length also provides lots of surface area if you want to steady your fore end against a barricade when taking a shot.

As one would expect, the 3G has an adjustable stock so you can extend or collapse it to fit any shooter or clothing requirement. This is not a basic M4-type stock; this one has a longer cheek piece for a better cheek weld.

Tactical Optics Division is the most popular in 3-Gun, so to keep it in that division, Stag equipped the 3G with iron sights offset to 45 degrees. When targets are out at the 200 to 300 yard range, 3G shooters can use an optic. On close targets where optical magnification hurts your shooting ability, simply cant the 3G to use the iron sights.

Id be building and selling as many guns as possible. They may never get another chance. There are machine shops standing idle because of the economy. Stag needs to source out as many parts as they can and hire as many qualified people they can to assemble and inspect. Ive owned my share of businesses over the last 40 years and if I had a 1 year backlog I’d be trying to find a way to catch up. If “They” orchestrate another attack when Feinstein introduces her assault weapons ban bill you never know how it will turn out. After doing my own research I’m of the opinion that the Conn. attack was staged. Aurora also.

How in the hell did you guys turn a review of a great gun package(a little pricey) into a political debate. The writer was just using an example to put an image in your mind that this is not a large scale fix as far as if we were being invaded by another country in downtown main st. It’s to protct you from small scale issues such as riots and looting etc. Maybe even floods or hurricanes where you are stuck at home defending or at work etc. Leave the politics out of it. Other than keeping the government away from our right to own a fine weapon lik this.
    Have a great day

Children children, if you had listened to the video they stated the price as $2,012.00. An AK-47 really, where have you been living for the past 30 years. News flash, they are all crooked. If you are a multi million or billionaire you probably didn’t get there by being a total law abiding citizen. You either commited crimes or paid someone to do it for you. Broke laws or paid someone to do it for you or inherited it from someone who did. Also I bet most of the people in this country would claim to be a God fearing Christian. However no one wants to help anyone who is not to their liking or shares their DNA. I think everyone needs to read the Bible again and slowly this time especially if it is your first time. The Bible is very long, hard to understand at times and etc. But if you take the whole word into consideration I believe the jist of it all is. Don’t do anything to anyone that you would not want done to you or anyone you love and do more for others that for yourself and of course don’t judge. You may be next. However in this country we never turn the other cheek or open our door to help someone. It is all about me, me, me, me. Turn my cheek, hah, I’ll blow your head off with my EXC. AR-15. You come to my door three times and I’ll call 911 to clean up the mess. We are the only industrialized nation that doesn’t have a national heathcare system. Why, because to many fat cats are getting, becoming and/or staying rich off it. We have people who are starving, homeless, dieing of curable and treatable medical problems and just simple lack of a way to purchase or obtain food, clothing, and basic human needs. We have dog shelters nicer than homeless shelters. We spend billions on idiotic sports while people are dieing and we wonder why other countries despise us. I don’t believe in letting someone kill, rape, mame or take what you have worked for but if we were in a lot of peoples shoes right now we would do the same. Before I let someone I love starve, freeze to death, or die for treatable or curable causes I would break laws and so would you. We have people making millions and billions of dollars that is more than anyone can and will ever use while people are dieing in the streets and we want to impose our beliefs and cultures on other countries because we think they are wrong. Hell the same thing is going on in this country but its all legal. Wake up people or just go buy another gun just in case someone shows up who doesn’t look, act, smell, believe, talk like you, or doesn’t have what you have. The CEO of the company I work for who was already a multi millionaire was given 165 million dollars as a reitirement package and they can’t afford to pay for our healthcare anymore. No asshole is worth that when he is working and he got it as a retirement package. So lets just kill everyone who thinks there is something wrong with the way things are going in this country. Its America!!! and we have the right to bear arms.
PS, don’t vote any asshole back in office and maybe they will get the picture. :{)

I would like mine in .308 Win. also. Open sights are just fine for defensive close quarters action and out to 2 or 300 yards. Stuff the mags, ad more ammo, and there is still room in the case for more stuff. And like the fella said above, ad compact binoculars, 2 way radios, a couple of extra mags would do. Think inside the box folks make it work you. Improvise, customize. I would not go without at least 200 + rounds, and a trusty sidearm.

I am good to go in a few minutes, took the concept of the “minute man” seriously to heart decades ago, looked at it, worked on process and am now working with my boys to insure they are prepared also. Drills have put necessities in the go position and I am gone in less than 5 minutes. And there are little ones to think of that call me grandpa.

Stop bickering and calling each other names like a bunch children. I did not expect to find such moronic rhetoric on a page like this offering intelligently thought out solutions to possible real world problems. Grow up you imbeciles.

Rays point above is well taken, and the hyphenated Yuppy from the house of flexible ethics that thinks he can just toss the ESK system into the trunk of his bmw and think he is prepared, will probably have it taken from his cold dead hands in short order by someone with a butter knife or a compound bow. I have a friend who hunts all the time with a bow, is real good at it, and I would not want to be in his sights ever! It goes everywhere with him in his truck. I have seen him put 6 into a 2 in. ring at 50 yards real fast.

The price is $2012.00 which seems very reasonable to me for what you get. I like the idea a lot.

The ESK system is aimed at a niche/target consumer which is rich Yuppies basicly. For the “Gun and Run” scenario, the ESK system looks pretty good. Have a similar system that I built/put together for myself which I shoot and clean regularly.
What scares/worries me is that is that the “exec” might buy it as another tech toy and maybe go shoot it once or twice right after getting the system and then put it in the trunk and forget about it. This is probably after not cleaning it. And then some time later, when the excrement hits the rotating air mover and something happens, the Exec will expect the system to protect the Exec…when the Exec hasn’t protected/taken care of the system. And the Exec probably doesn’t have the skills or training for the proper use…but the Exec looks cool.

All gangs will eventually become armed gangs when TSHTF, you can forget about driving back from your downtown office to your house 30 miles away in the outerburbs, you’ll have roadblocks at every intersection. Try to shoot your way through one and you’ll likely end up sith your body hanging from a streetlight and your executive weapon in the hands of one of the many armed factions that would spring up, if this was a really serious event.

    • Elliott Fitchett January 19, 2012, 5:48 pm

1 arrest of a supposed tea party member (where’s the rest of the tea party rally while this private citizen is doing his dirty crimes??) does not an evil equivalent make. I think I’ll cling to my ideologies, my bible AND my guns and tell you and the OWS crowd to shut your mouth. you don’t speak for me. you’re not the 99%. you’re a bunch of grabastic, lazy communists in dreadlocks and filth. To say that you speak for the rest of us is comical. to keep trying to equate yourselves to the Tea Party is ludicrous.

“I hate Colonel Sanders with his beady eyes. He puts additives in his chicken to make you crave it.”

At 2 grand I’m pretty sure that you can build your own ESK that would more meet your personal needs. But for the targeted customer (executive needing short term “get me out of this mess now” survival equipment) this is an excellent all in one solution, albeit for the short term, “run and gun” situation. It is compact so it will stow easily in the car or closet making it readily available if needed and easily transportable. Great product for a nitch consumer with a mind towards urban survival.

    • Michael James January 20, 2012, 3:02 am

Seriously beady eyes and additives I think you need help.

  • Gideon January 19, 2012, 2:16 pm

Occupiers not violent!? Better read the stats on that one. Those folks are extreme and I don’t believe it’s irresponsible to warn families of the potential danger. We caution people to prepare for quakes, tornadoes, blizzards, heatwaves etc., why not caution people about a possible/potential threat to civil order. A few, maybe many, inside that misguided organization may use comments/articles, like this one, as an excuse to further riot and destroy but at least decent people will be prepared to defend themselves. I disagree with the way our society is bound but hurting fellow Americans and damaging our country isn’t the way to correct the problems. The Occupy Wall Street crowd don’t need incitement . . . keep writing your articles, we have freedom of speech same as the Occupiers. By the way . . . good article. 🙂

  • JD January 19, 2012, 1:35 pm

I agree with Mike – pretty much all that needs to be said. It’s hard to decide what to put in a survival kit – it would end up weighing 800 pounds! So you take this, cut out some more holes in the foam, place a few items of your choice in there, and grab your survival backpack that you have – good to go…. I am curious how much it costs. Being named the “executive” – I am sure it is at least a couple pretty pennies….

Try this, no bailouts, no donations to politicians (corporate or private), each candidate is given $100,000 tax money for his campaign he gets one hour prime time TV to make his case that he has the experience to do the job and the countries interest at heart, no political parties and they must have the ability to make a decision that in the end will benefit the country. PS stop giving the criminals a free pass and stop playing the race card.

  • Jim H January 19, 2012, 12:33 pm

I have a CHL, always carry, and sometimes wear body armor. I was a hippie who sat in trees in the 1960s. For anyone who has read the US Constitution, the “occupiers” have the right to protest, and they do not threaten me in the least. I got an email recently from GA saying vote for our candidate, or don’t vote at all. So who’s the threat? As for the executive package, I’ll look at it and probably buy it as a former competitive marksman.

  • Sloane January 19, 2012, 12:28 pm

    LOL Mark,

People with a mob mentality no matter what the name are dangerous. Did you ever listen to “some” of the occupy people?

In any case I can see this as a very pricey item ( just by looking at it) that most people will by-pass that and its not exactly idiot proof. Also lacks some extras that might be more useful like more ammo and magazines. Considering your not going to have alot of time to load and reload mags in a bad spot.

  • Mike Balog January 19, 2012, 11:27 am

As a former LEO I totally agree with the mention of the “Occupy Hippie Idiots”. Remember, what our Communist
Enemies said during just past the turn of the Century, into the 20th Century. These are the Useful idiots, the ones who have no education, nothing better to do, and can be lead for purposes to further the Revolution. Who
said this? Karl Marx, Lenin, and Stalin utilized this exactly during his purges. When you say, it can’t happen here.
Well during the 1960’s, 1970’s and 1980’s it DID happen here more than once. The 1960’s the Anti Vietnam War movement was a total Front, it was financed and led by the Russian KGB, through men like Gus Hall, who was
Head of the American Communist Party. They had Cell groups all across the US, based in LIBERAL COLLEGE
CAMPUSES. ALSO, The RIOTS that happened across the Nation in Big Cities. Remember, the Rodney King Riots? The Black Panthers who marched into the Republican Party Convention fully Armed with shotguns and AK-47’s, How about Hurricanes Edward in Fla. and Katrinia in New Orleans. The Street Thugs, Drug Gangs roamed at will all armed with automatic weapons. IT took the 82nd and 101st Airborne just back from Iraq to Put Order Back in New Orleans. One time when I was an officer, I had to defend a bunch of us at a Beer Warehouse Alarm Call as there was a 12 yr old black kid on the roof of one of the project buildings across the street with a stolen M2 Carbine who kept us pinned down. Until I responded with my S & W 9 mm duty pistol firing over his head. The other cops didn’t want to fire, I did, He dropped the Carbine and ran for it Because someone returned Fire. There
is too much space wasted in the gun case. There should be a survival book, gun manual, binocs, even a pair of
FRS Family Radios for communications with your family with you. It would be better to pair the rifle with a reliable handgun as well. Like a SIG, FN or S&W .40 cal automatic pistol with several clips of .40 Hollow Point. This is all based on my experience dealing with black outs, hurricanes, in which Looters actually did try to break in home on my street, Until they came upon me with a COLT AR 15 SP-1, and a $&W 9 MM pistol. Being Trained and better Prepared is the Winning Solution. The Police Cannot Protect you. They Arrive AFTER the Crime. SO Don’t be a Victim or a Statistic. The Liberals want you to call 9-1-1. Instead call upon Colt’s 1[911]…..

    • Ted January 19, 2012, 2:56 pm

I can see why you are a FORMER LEO, that psych eval is tough

      • Mike January 19, 2012, 8:07 pm

I will keep the politics out of my responce. The last part of Mike Balogs is just what I was thinking. Kit ahould have a good pistol as well and like the idea of a back up family communication ability. For pistol lots of options but one I would want would be a rail gun with a good lite. Personal preference but I like something like the Berreta 96 A1.

  • Jason January 19, 2012, 11:26 am

I know the multi-tool likely has a blade on it, but it would be nice if the kit had a quality fixed blade with sheath. Unless you have more stashed, 3 boxes of ammo is gonna go fast if the shite hits the fan At some point your gonna need another weapon, that is other than swinging the AR around like a club 🙂

The Occupiers are the least of our worries…..

There’s a secret society of the five wealthiest people in the world, known as The Pentavirate, who run everything in the world, including the newspapers, and meet tri-annually at a secret country mansion in Colorado, known as The Meadows. Made up of who you ask, The Queen, The Vatican, The Gettys, The Rothschilds, *and* Colonel Sanders before he went tits up.

  • Steve January 19, 2012, 11:17 am

Reply to Dave and Mark: I don’t think it’s ever ignorant or irresponsible to encourage people to protect themselves. Yes the occupy movement has not turned violent but their idea that wall street/big business prospers themselves unjustly in addition to occupy’s disregard for the law COULD be a recipe for violent escalation….. Actually while I’m writing this responce I am thinking of an instance where warning people that a certain movement may become violent IS ignorant and irresponsible. That dangerous group of law abiding grey hairs and throw back fuddy duddys called the Tea Party.

    • Michael James January 20, 2012, 1:51 am

There are some legit complaints against large corporations taking advantage of their customers. I bought a Ford F450 new in January 2010 and by September 2010 it had been in and out of the shop constantly and was unusable. Ford did not pay for any of the overheating and turbo problems under warranty because the turbo and the cooling system are not part of the engine according to them. The truck cost me $61,000.00 to own for eight months plus $132,000.00 in lost revenue and they trashed my credit for trying to fight them on the issue even after being paid $8,000.00 more then the price on the contract. The notion that Wall Street and big corporations aren’t doing anything wrong is ridiculous. You can’t fight big money that has bought your government right out from under you. Have a nice day. I carry a Dan Wesson 1911 Bobtail and it will do the job if I need it.

  • Chris J January 19, 2012, 10:57 am

I think the price isn’t mentioned because it is probably prettry high.

It is a nice looking package, but I am sure anyone reading this could assemble a more comprehensive, personally-tailored kit on their own quite cheaply, if they already have a good gun they are comfortable with. I see this as an expensive band-aid for people who can afford it and who haven’t really put much thought into survival issues. They go WAY beyond being able to put bullets downrange, even if it is a real evildoer down there.

Still, a nice-lloking kit and undoubtedly a good rifle, for them as can afford it.

Leraving the social commentary alone. Take it somewhere else, please.

    • Bill Puckett January 19, 2012, 4:07 pm

way over priced for a AR-15 in a box. buy you a carbon lower AR take it apart and put it in a much smaller box with a nice (they make them inexpensive) Knife, and put a low end leatherman in there with 6 loaded magazines. put a light on the gun and throw out the one MRE. Do all this for less than half the mentioned price and stop paying someone to do your shopping for you.

  • Chuck Scott January 19, 2012, 10:41 am

How can anyone reading a Stag Arms Blog be sympathetic to what the “occupy” movement has evolved into???

This whole occupy crap was started by the “occupier and chief” Barak Hussein who did what for a living before becoming president? He was a community organizer… with Acorn who is now fully funded by the likes George Soros and the rest of the Social Change bunch.

Scott speaks the truth, if you see it otherwise you had better get yourself educated double quick cause Hope is gone and Change is being shoved down our throats fast.

Stag… nice job on the ESK… I like it alot. Keep up the good work!

  • R Daniel 830.1PC Retired January 19, 2012, 10:18 am

Mark and Dave, you both missed the reason why Scott specifically mentioned the “occupiers” as a source of concern for the type of individuals this package is marketed at hence the name “Executive Survivor’s Kit (ESK)”. Granted, the majority of the “Occupiers” are docile and harmless but in every group there are those who are radical and extreme who are capable of heinous acts of violence in their quest to bring “Social Equality” to our country.

    • Scott Mayer January 19, 2012, 11:19 am

Whew! I was hoping someone would get it! Thanks for having my back, and for taking the time to read and comment.

      • Scott Mayer January 19, 2012, 11:23 am

Oh, and the price is $2,012. Something about the number 2012 and the Myans. Maybe they will come back as zombies.

        • Michael James January 20, 2012, 1:25 am

Well I’ll bet the author had no idea the nerve he would strike writing this artical . I think the price is a little steep and I would have preferred more ammo to deal with the masses you might have to deal with when you screw them out of their money and they figure it out Mr. Burney Madeoff.

      • Carolyn G January 19, 2012, 3:12 pm

Scott…he’s not the only one who “got” it and have your “back”. There really are more of US than them…just keep trying to wake the Giant up. You have produced a nice kit. Thanks.

        • BradleyC January 19, 2012, 7:43 pm

More of us than them is, I believe, very true.
But that doesn’t mean we won’t all suffer through mother nature “culling the herd.”
This mess we’re experiencing isn’t politics. It’s biology and anthropology and the fundamental war between good (pro freedom) and evil (pro control) built into the structure of Nature.
By the way, my last count of FFL holders in the ATF xcel spreadsheet from Dec is over 65,000.
We all know this, but many, sadly, do not: Si vis pacem, para bellum

      • Mark January 19, 2012, 7:40 pm

        Scott

Did you research or talk to anyone in occupy, before deciding to write. They are committed to non violence. The notion that executives are In Danger is absurd.

  • Funny January 19, 2012, 10:14 am

What cracks me up is all the republicans bashing the ‘socialist occupiers’ who then go on to support big-government republican candidates who keep the spending pedal mashed to the floor and have zero plans to cut taxes, spending, or de-socialize anything.

Get past the team mentality – socialism, corporatism, crony capitalism are bad, regardless of which party supports them. Only Paul seems to be proposing eliminating any of that – certainly not Romney, who’s bought and paid for by TARP recipients.

    • Michael James January 20, 2012, 2:29 am

You must have missed the fact that Democrats have controlled the countries pocket book and have spent 100 times as much as any administration in the history of the country. Stop the political party BS and elect people that can do the job because they have the experience and have not been bought off by corporations and special interest groups.

  • Mike January 19, 2012, 10:13 am

    yes !
i would like mine in .308 please !

  • John Fitzgerald January 19, 2012, 9:48 am

What a narrow minded Ass this writer is! With BIG Business and the banks all ripping us to pieces, we should all be arming ourselves. Keep up the good work Occupy Wall Streeters!

    • Ian January 19, 2012, 1:45 pm

Don’t like big business? Quit buying stuff.

      • Michael James January 20, 2012, 3:31 am

Support Americans buy American products made by Americans, real Americans not illegals.

      • Brian January 25, 2012, 4:55 pm

I second that. What you want him to stop buying stuff, how will he get he f!@#ed up opinion out on the net for the world to see how bad he has it in America!

  • Roger January 19, 2012, 9:34 am

I love the statement about occupiers. Keep ’em coming. I also love the one about the zombie apocalypse, which reminds me of what the Kenyan usurper is going to start.

  • Chris Jackson January 19, 2012, 9:32 am

Well Mr. Martin, your head is up yours also. You seem to be able to write okay.

  • Mat January 19, 2012, 9:27 am

Wake up, blind sheep….. If you think movements like ‘occupy’ and the socialist mentality that is breeding fast in this country are not things to be concerned about, especially in today’s economy, then you may be part of the problem! Thankfully, there are still enough of us left that see these things as the real threat that they are- to our beloved country AND to the safety and prosperity of our families.

Scott Mayerz speaks reality. If you disagree, maybe you should donate all you have and the work you do to support the cause of idiots and freeloaders like the ‘occupy’ hippies that simply dont want to do any damn work. The rest of us work hard because we want more. We have self pride and work ethic and we don’t expect anyone to give us something for free- it’s a novel concept!

    • Michael James January 20, 2012, 3:26 am

I guess I missed it, I thought the Occupy Wall Street were people protesting corporations ripping off their investors not a group looking for a handout. Maybe we should lock up those people for thinking Wall Street should stop raising fuel prices and running of with our retirement funds. Let’s all give up freedom of speech and the right to assemble a peaceful protest to the way the economy is being handled. We have been sold out to the highest bidder boys. Now we have to deal with it. Sad but true.

      • KF January 22, 2012, 8:03 pm

This whole comment thread is a prime example of why reviewers should leave their little political potshots out of their product reviews. Instead of discussing the product features and prices, we’ve got posts calling the president a socialist and all the flamewar garbage to go along with it. Let it be a lesson to you, Mr. Mayerz.

  • ted spring January 19, 2012, 9:22 am

How much?….available now? and who gives a flying fat azzed f**k about the idiot Occupy everything unwashed, unemployed, anti Gun and second Amendment ….new aged park hippys! A group of liberal flying nut balls…..

  • DosZap January 19, 2012, 9:21 am

I would have preferred the std stock, shorter, and the A3 w/out front site.(add a MagPul rear, flip front, gets the EO Tech off the riser needed with the std site.
Extra batteries for the EOTech,do away with the Otis,AR’s do not need one for masny hundreds of rounds, and used the FREED up space for more ammo. 60rds is nothing.
But it is a slick idea.
    If the price is right,

  • Dave Martin January 19, 2012, 8:57 am

I think it’s mighty damn irresponsible of you to make a statement like this. “With social movements such as “occupiers” who think they’re somehow entitled to “their fair share” of what YOU own, I don’t blame people for being concerned about their safety.” How can you see to write with your head so far up your ass?

    • Ian January 19, 2012, 1:43 pm

What do you mean? Rapes, robberies, beatings, squatting on private property… it’s a legit statement. Though I personally don’t fear them.

      • da_caboys January 20, 2012, 8:38 am

I do not fear the cry-baby “occupiy movement” either. What I DO fear is the fact that too many people think I should work for what they want. ANYONE that wants to take my things are not thinking straight.

    • Elliott Fitchett January 19, 2012, 5:32 pm

I think that Ian has a point, Dave. So far the OWS movement has over 4,000 arrests while they’re screaming about corporate greed. Since this is an executive (I.E. Corporate executive) survival kit, I think those remarks are right on the money. If that offends you, perhaps YOU are what this rifle was meant to protect against. When you understand that your right to swing ends just short of my face, then you’ll be a political force. until then, you’re lawless rabble and perfect non-electrical pop up targets.

      • OldStabby January 19, 2012, 9:00 pm

Ignorance is what will cause what you all talk about; revolution. Is that what all you well to do people worry about? Hoards of lazy city dwellers after your stuff. This kit is non-sense. 1 MRE, 1AR with 60 rounds= “survival kit”. Good luck with that…

To the writer of the review, please turn off FOX News and Rush Limbaugh for a while. It may in the end be good for your health. The people who are poor in this country don’t want your stuff. They want their economy back. It is idiotic to suggest envy is what is powering the occupy movement. When good citizens talk about the number of arrests as proof of the poor quality of the protester in this instance, then the folks who have persuaded you over time have done so completely. Others call that brain-washing. I contend you have no independent thought other than what guns you like. You’re a ditto head.

  • bruce powers January 19, 2012, 8:47 am

looks sweet…wonder how mush and where to buy it? this baby with a bump stock would sing nicely!

    • Peacekeeper January 19, 2012, 12:49 pm

Really, a Bump Stock, with the whole 60rds that come supplied in the case? Obviously you’re an idiot and don’t know what this is designed for in the first place. Noob!!

  • Iron15 January 19, 2012, 8:15 am

Now thats a nice package..well done Stag Arms. Will they offer a CT. compliant package? (mussel break & pinned stock) Bureaucratic BS

  • mark January 19, 2012, 7:50 am

Apart from the really ignorant and uniformed remark about occupiers this was a useful review. Would have been better if it had mentioned price..

    • JohnP January 19, 2012, 12:14 pm

Apart from the mentions of this being a useful review and that a MSRP would’ve been helpful, your comment is ignorant.

      • Nathan Arnette January 19, 2012, 4:13 pm

        Sir,

When you hit the sack tonight, pause and please consider the negative impact you have made with your criticism of Mark’s comments. Education, education, education.

As for the author of this review…I will be unsubscribing. Stop lying to yourself by justifying your comments.

        Best,

        Nathan A.

        • John Wolford January 19, 2012, 7:20 pm

Mark is clueless and so are you, the occupy crowd was nothing more than filthy disease carrying vagrants who raped and robbed their own and others. When they were evicted from PRIVATE land finally, the city had to remove TONS of debris unlike the much maligned Tea Party who left their gathering site cleaner than they found it. John P. was spot on correct in all of his observations and the writer was as well. In every location the occupiers met they maxed out city services, abused local businesses and caused some to have to close their doors. I find nothing romantic or quaint about their “movement”.

          • John Wolford Sheep January 19, 2012, 9:16 pm

Dude, do you not understand the basic complaint of what the government is in general? The government rapes countries, kills in the thousands. It rips us off to pay for needless wars. We , as a people are no longer represented. Big corporations or any one else with deep pockets to buy a senator vote is all that matters. You call the protestors vagrants? Try real news like you will find at whatreallyhappened dot com. Wake up!
