When I shoot recreationally I’m often selective about what I shoot, and I often find myself pulling out the Aero M16A4. It might not be small, sleek, and sexy, but it’s accurate, reliable, and easy to shoot. I’d take the latter over the prior anytime.

Aero Precision made a name for itself offering customers quality AR-15 rifles and parts at prices most gun owners can afford. Now, the Washington State company is looking to branch out into suppressors and bolt action rifles.

After months of teasers and rumors, Aero Precision is officially launching the EPC, or Enhanced Pistol Caliber series of AR-pattern firearms.

Originally, I set out to build an upper solely to test the Bergara 20” AR-15 barrel so I was not looking to spend a ton of money on a new handguard.  After a failed start using a free float tube that I got on sale I was on the hunt for something that was affordable, free floating, and modular.
