At SHOT Show 2022, Canik displayed its newest 9mm pistol, the SFx Rival. Meeting current IDPA, IPSC, and USPSA specifications, the SFx RIVAL is built to compete at a price that won’t break the bank. 

Canik has been teasing the two-tone black and tan Mete pistols for a few weeks and now they’re making it official.

Canik’s TP9 Elite SC is a feature-rich subcompact 9mm pistol and it comes with a full package of accessories, including an optics option.

Chambered for 9mm Luger, the TP9 Elite Sub Compact has a 12+1-round capacity with flush magazines and a 15+1-round capacity with extended mags.

I had handled Canik pistols a couple of years ago at the SHOT show and have a couple of friends that shoot them but was a bit skeptical of how the Century Arms imports were going to perform; after all, they have an MSRP below $325, how good of a gun should you expect at that price point?

They took their best AK’s and TP9 pistols and sent them to several different custom shops and told them to go wild. The various shops created custom furniture, fluted barrels, refined triggers–the works.
