TC Arms Youth Rifle – Venture Compact

TC Arms:

The TC Arms Venture is one of the best value in American made bolt action rifles, and this year TC answered the call to make a youth sized version. It has an 11.5 length of pull out of the box and it will be available in .223, .243, 7mm-08 and .308 for now. The barrel is only 20 inches for good balance in a small gun, and it comes with a 1 inch spacer for the stock, so the gun can grow with your child. All of the Venture rifles come with an MOA gaurantee, and we proved this out easily with a rifle they sent us for testing. There is also a new winter camo Venture as well. TC makes a lot of “gotta have it” guns and this looks to be another.
Also, if you haven’t seen the new TC Dimension modular bolt action system, you have to check this out. We were the first to break this story and from what we have seen develop since, just about every famous hunter on the planet is coming out to endorse this new powerhouse of a hunting rifle system. The barrel swaps are guaranteed MOA as well, cool stuff.

are the high quality on-site auto repair services you can schedule by
calling a mobile mechanic. There is practically no reason why you would not choose this shop for lavage auto
Montreal especially when you are not just after the usual
car wash services. Since cold weather makes engine problems only worse, now is
the time to figure out why it is difficult to start the
car, why the idle seems too rough, and why there are times when acceleration seems to take forever.

For the price and the MOA TC Arms is hard to beat. I
am wondering if there is going to be a stainless model
    as well.

Did I here you say that you use the same bolt?

    • Administrator February 1, 2012, 5:43 pm

The modular rifle has four bolts, coded to the magazines and barrels A-D.

Does it come in a left-handed version?

  • Russell King February 1, 2012, 1:45 pm

do they make a left handed version?

    • Administrator February 1, 2012, 4:35 pm

I don’t see a mention of it but you never know.

According to the TC website, the LOP is 12.5 + one inch spacer and there is no model listed for .223. This differes from your above description.

    • Administrator February 1, 2012, 11:48 am

      That is what they said.

  • Noah Prail February 1, 2012, 10:46 am

    How much does it cost.

    • Administrator February 1, 2012, 11:06 am

Probably the same as the standard Venture line, which is street price in the $550 range, sometimes lower. No MSRP listed on website right now.

Can’t wait to get one for my wife the only addition would be 5/8 threaded barrel. When you ware a vest or jacket a long stock just wont get it thats why the army went to a m4 adjustable stock.

Losing screws in the mud? probably won’t be changing barrels in the field, but you would be changing barrels with a scope still on it. Not sure how well that would work. Doesn’t look like you’d have to remove the scope, but it certainly adds a “be careful” factor to the process, and re-sighting the scope.
