As far as bang for your buck goes, TriStar Arms has established a very good reputation. Way down at the bargain end of the spectrum, the prices are so low that it’s often overlooked by serious shotgunners. At GunsAmerica, we don’t believe you should need a trust fun to shoot trap or skeet, so we dropped by TriStar during SHOT 2018 to check out the new products.

This great addition of the .410 offering rounds out the line of 12, 20, ad 28 gauge. In the bronze finish, this is a striking shotgun, perfect for clays or the field. It handles well, and has a fit and finish well above its price point. The bronze Cerakote finish handsomely fits with the Turkish Walnut, also including cut checkering. If you are looking for an all-purpose semiauto, you’ll to want to add this to your list. The MSRP for the G2 Viper line is around $749.

Also new for this year, a change to the trap gun line up. All the trap guns this year will feature adjustable stocks, allowing the shotguns to be fit properly and grow with the shooter. The length of pull moves from 13 inches to 14.5. It’s sure to fit a variety of shooters. With the expense of normal trap guns, this is sure to be a winner amongst us mortals.
TriStar tests these shotguns by running them through 100,000 rounds, so you know it is going to last. MSRP is from $1,200 to $2,200, a bargain for this type of gun.
