Gov. Jim Justice desperately wants the people of West Virginia to become vaccinated against COVID-19.
To incentivize people to take it in the arm, Gov. Justice is holding a statewide “lottery giveaway,” to include “a $1.588 million grand prize, a $588,000-second prize, full scholarships to any higher education institution in West Virginia, custom-outfitted trucks, weekend vacations at state parks, lifetime hunting and fishing licenses, custom hunting rifles and custom hunting shotguns.”
In order to qualify for the giveaway, a resident needs to have at least one dose of the vaccine. The giveaway runs from June 20th through August 4th.
“The faster we get people across the finish line the more lives we save. That’s all there is to it,” Gov. Justice said Tuesday. “If the tab just keeps running the cost is enormous. The hospitalizations are enormous. We have to get all of our folks across the finish line.”
Many West Virginians were critical of the announcement on social media.
“Just when you think the poorest excuse for a Governor I have ever seen can not sink any lower surprise!!! Wake up to anyone who is thinking about getting the poison jab because of this,” said one Facebook user. “If he is bribing and pushing this hard there is a hidden agenda. Disgraceful and disturbing is something we can always count on from Justice.”

What one puts in one’s body is ultimately one’s choice. With that in mind, what are your thoughts about the West Virginia giveaway?
I’m certainly not an expert in that space so I would never tell anyone what to do. All I’d suggest is you do as much research as possible before you make a decision one way or another.
In this regard, I did find this conversation between Dr. Bret Weinstein (Ph.D.) and Dr. Pierre Kory (M.D.) rather fascinating. To be clear, I’m not endorsing what they’re reporting. I’m simply sharing it because it provides an alternative perspective to the one we’re seeing from our government and in mainstream media. More food for thought.
If you want the vaccine have at it personally I hope it makes all these people trying an experimental vaccine infertile. Last thing we need is more sheep running around trusting that the Government actually cares what’s in their best interest.
If you’re vaccinated and the vaccination is as good as advertised, why do the vaccinated care if anyone else gets the shot?

Daily new case rate this week in Tehama County, California, where 23% of population is vaccinated: 15.5
Daily new case rate this week in Orange County, where around twice the proportion of people are vaccinated (44% of population): 1.9
Population density in Tehama County: 21 per square mile
Population density in Orange County: 4,033 per square mile
So right now COVID-19 is spreading at eight times the rate in the less vaccinated county, despite its people being spread out at 1/200th the density of the more vaccinated county.

I’ve gotten both shots this past winter and feel just fine. Have not grown extra body parts or become insane either! people who don’t get the shot are just prolonging this Wuhan nightmare.
