NEW LOWER PRICE!! Under-hammer muzzleloading 42 caliber percussion bench target rifle. The trigger guard is the hammer / striker main spring. Maker is unknown. Octagon barrel, length 30 1/16”, 1.5” at breech, cross-patch false muzzle, 1 3/8”. Bore is excellent. Total weight 17 3/8 pounds. Taper-pin take-down. LOP 13 5/8” over checkered metal butt plate. Stock is of prominent-striped tiger maple, beautiful gold color. The stock is very sound. There are two checks in the wood; one on the left side, near the breech, and one on the right, near the end of the upper tang. Bottom flat of barrel has two holes drilled and tapped for muzzle rest; one hole at 2 3/16” from muzzle, the other is 2 5/8” from muzzle. There are three sets of holes in top flat for sight blocks: One starts at 1 5/8” from muzzle; two starts at 21 1/16” from muzzle, and; three starts at 28 1/16” from muzzle. Function is excellent.
