Master engraver Olaf Weiss has executed beautiful scroll engraving on the receiver, top of top barrel, trigger guard, bottom of the frame and the forearm latch and hardware. The left side features a lifelike scene of a man and his dog in the woods, the right side shows a dog flushing a covey of quail. The left rear side plate is signed "O.Weiss".
The beautiful light tint, luxury grade walnut has a two piece forearm and straight grip with a sweeping pattern of checkering. This gun is complete with a chocolate brown, leather, combination locking take down case, containing 3 peice cleaning rod, and the original Merkel box.
