How many times have we all read a great article in a gun mag about something new and then were unable to find the gun.

With all of today's variations, colors, accessories, etc. there is no way for any stocking dealer to carry model of every gun.

But hey, we want what we want!

Guns On Demand links you, the consumer, to the manufacturers and distributors. The guns are out there. Some may be on gun shop shelves, some may be on distributor shelves, and some may even be on the manufacturer shelves, but the guns are out there. And the manufacturer can now use Guns On Demand to help you find them.

You will see the Guns On Demand tab next to the other ad types here on GunsAmerica.

When you check the Guns On Demand tab, the other three tabs will uncheck. You will then see a list of guns come up that match your search term or category selection. Click on which of these guns you might like to buy and a list of FFL dealers will come up who can get it for you, ordered by how close to you they are. Each dealer may offer the gun at what price they choose, under their own terms.

When you select that dealer, the transaction from there is like any other GunsAmerica sale. He will verify that he either has the gun or can get it and possibly ask you to put down a deposit to order it. If the dealer is in your state you can go pick up the gun when it comes in, or if not have him ship it to an FFL dealer near you who is not yet in our program and therefore not able to take orders for these guns yet. All stocking brick and mortar gun dealers will be able to enter the program for many brands, and if your dealer is in a Gold club or buyers group for the more exclusive manufacturers, most likely they will be able to take orders for these guns too.

This is a 'learn as you go' process. Go try it! New manufacturers will be coming into the system almost every week until we have them all.

We know it is impossible to list every gun in the store for sale on GunsAmerica. It takes a whole other full time employee just to keep up.

Guns On Demand is a program built to support and reward the pillars of our industry, the stocking brick and mortar gun dealer.

Sign up through your normal seller account on GunsAmerica. For some manufacturers, like Remington and Mossberg, any stocking dealer may carry the entire line. For others, like Beretta and soon Sig, only their actual registered stocking dealers will be able to take these orders. If you want to become a stocking dealer for these manufacturers please contact customer service here and we can send you to the right person.

Go try it!! A page of text explanations isn't going to help you wrap your brain around this any better. You will see that you sign up by manufacturer, and that each gun in the catalog carries a minimum advertised price (MAP), and that you can ask for any price you want, to closely match what you have it on the shelf for. As much as we all like to get a great deal, the health and profitability of our gun dealers is everyone's concern and MAP will help to guard against price erosion that hurts everyone.

Go try it!! It will be worth the small learning curve and small amount of time it will take you to review the lists of guns. Ten years ago the original GunsAmerica changed the entire gun industry for the better, and Guns On Demand is going to change the entire industry again, and again, for the better!
