This is a good condition 1st Generation Colt Single Action Army revolver with 4.75” barrel in .32 WCF caliber. The Colt retains about 50% of its original blue finish and the case frame has lost most of the colors leaving a silvery finish with some shallow pitting. The action is tight and correct. The right grip has a chip missing on the toe. This gun was shipped to Salt Lake Hardware Company, Salt Lake City, Utah, on May 17, 1906, with 2 other guns. The serial number is 278164. The accompanying “Moose Brand” double loop holster was made by Brauer Brothers Manufacturing Company, St. Louis, Missouri, around the turn of the century.
