This Colt SAA Single Action Army revolver was shipped to Hibbard, Spencer, Bartlett & Company, Chicago, Illinois, December 12, 1904 (serial #261180), with one other gun. It has a 7.5” barrel, blue and case finish, is in .32 WCF (.32-20) caliber with hard rubber grips. It is mechanically fine, lock up tight with all four clicks and three notches. As well, it has a mirror bright bore and no pitting or frosting. It retains probably 60% of its original blue and fading, mottled case colors clearly visible in more protected areas. The front sight has been filed slightly shorter.
The Colt is housed in a Challenger Brand heavy leather holster made by George Lawrence C., Portland, Oregon.
