This is a very clean Colt SAA (serial #303649), lots of original blue on barrel, ejector rod housing and cylinder, shipped around 1907, according to published serial number records. It has a 4.75” barrel and is in .41 Long Colt caliber, with factory hard rubber grips. The bore is lightly frosted with strong rifling. It is good condition mechanically with all four clicks and three cocking notches. Here’s what else I see. The trigger guard and back strap have been replaced. Although Colt parts, they have been somewhat carelessly numbered to match the frame as can be seen in the pictures. Because of the posobly mixed numbers, I have not lettered this gun. The grips are in very good condition, and are original, but not numbered to the gun. All parts are period correct. It is a good shooter, and since .41 caliber cartridges are sometimes hard to come by, I’ll supply an extra .38 WCF (.38-40) cylinder for an additional $300.00 if a buyer wishes. The cartridges are different, but they are the same bore size: .41 cal.)
The Colt is holstered in a black leather, hand carved and suede lined model. It is in very good condition and still quite serviceable. It is not maker marked.
