This is a very nice Springfield 1903, 30-06. The serial number and barrel stamp indicate it was made at Springfield in1939.  It works beautifully and the barrel and receiver match. It looks like it was used for parades or funerals as it is in amazing condition for being over 80 years old. This would be a great addition to any WWII collection.
