Description: This Md. 48 Mauser rifle in Cal. 8m/m is a Yugoslavian produced Cold War Mauser rifle. The Md. 48 is an improved version of the WWII Mauser. These Yugoslavian manufactured Mausers were some of the best quality Mausers ever produced. These Mausers were used by the Yugoslavian military as well as being shipped to Cold War world hot spots. This Md. 48 rifle is in excellent/ like new condition. The rifle has all milled parts not like the Yugoslavian Md48-A Mauser that had many stamped parts. All serial numbers are stamped matching(the magazine plate and stock are forced matched). Metal blue is 99+%. Stock/hand guard are in excellent/like new condition. Bore is bright with sharp lands. Rifle has a clear/sharp Crest of Yugoslavia stamped on the top of the receiver. The Md. 48 Mauser is known for its accuracy. This Md. 48 is good as a shooter or an addition to your collection. There is a almost invisible import mark on the barrel. Rifles of this quality are no longer being imported. Can be purchased on a Curio and Relic ffl. Credit card buyers e-mail before purchase.
