As the old saying goes, better late than never.

Okay kids, that time of year is here when the Christmas family gift exchange happens. Remember last year, when were both stuck looking at each other awkwardly in the room, me pretending I like my gift, you pretending you put some thought into it? :) So, let’s cut to the chase this year. Here’s some really cool range gear that I would really like for Christmas.

The Full Conceal FG-G17 is a minimalist 80 percent frame that breaks down into a pocketable handgun kit about the size of a cellphone or checkbook.

There’s just something about shooting rimfires. Even with all the cool calibers I get to test out, I never, ever tire of shooting rimfire pistols and rifles. Maybe they just bring one back to the pure joy of plinking. The lack of noise, muzzle blast, and recoil isn’t a bad thing either as you can focus on the pure enjoyment of shooting. Even with the higher prices of rimfire ammo these days, you can do a whole lot more shooting for your dollar.

The NIJ has published hard requirements that any smart gun must meet before it can be considered for department use.

“We think our customers are really going to like the buttstock on this rifle. I don’t think there’s anything else quite like it,” said Phil Cashin, president of MasterPiece Arms.
