A hotel clerk in Houston, Texas, found herself facing an armed robber last month while on the job.
Instead of cowering in fear, she pulled out her own weapon and pointed it right back at the assailant, causing him to flee in terror.
Fox News reported that an unidentified person entered a hotel lobby in Houston and pointed a rifle at the employee working the front desk, demanding that she empty the cash drawer for him.
The hotel’s video footage shows the armed robber entering the hotel with a backpack containing the weapon. He then approaches the front desk and points the gun over the partition, demanding the money and even climbing over the counter.

The brave hotel clerk wasn’t going to be intimidated though, and after a brief exchange of words, she held up her own weapon towards the assailant.
The robber then became scared and fled the scene on foot, without any of the money he was after. He is reported to have said, “I ain’t playing with you.”
While the identity of the armed robber remains unknown, as of the last reports authorities are looking for a Black male, aged 20-25 years old, with a “thin build” who is about 6’2″-6’4″ tall.
This hotel clerk showed that self-defense is a right that should be exercised and that being prepared to protect oneself can be the difference between becoming a victim and coming out on top.
So take self-defense classes, invest in personal protection, and be ready to protect yourself and those around you if necessary.
