Hollywood Sheeple Fall in Line with Everytown’s ‘Reject NRA’ Campaign

Look, it’s Moby! I haven’t seen Moby since circa 2002.

Stop what you’re doing people!

Moby’s got a message for you. He wants you to text “REJECT” to 644-33. This will put you through to your Congressional representative so you can voice your opposition to national concealed carry reciprocity and suppressor deregulation.

You better listen to Moby. After all, no one knows more about what’s best for you and your Second Amendment rights than an ambient dance music DJ.

Seriously, Everytown has to be joking with this latest video.  The notion that we’re going to “#RejecttheNRA” because Moby, Melissa McCarthy, Julianne Moore and a bunch of other Hollywood sheeple are telling us to is ridiculous!

Just so we’re clear, taking self-defense advice from Moby is the equivalent of going to a circus clown for a prostate examination.  It’s utterly stupid (and maybe a bit comical).

When you watch the video below two things become immediately apparent.  First, they’re all reading from the same script.  Second, they have no idea what the hell they’re talking about.

How about this.  I’ll oppose national reciprocity when these “cultural influencers” oppose having a security detail.

Not one of them would object to having armed security when touring all 50 states. Yet, what they’re saying is that when a single mother of two with a valid concealed carry permit travels from Pennsylvania to New Jersey, her ability to protect herself and her children stops at the state border.

Not only that but if this young mother is caught with that pistol in New Jersey, she ought to be punished.  Jailed for a mandatory minimum of three years.

Think I’m making stuff up?  Moby, Julianne Moore, Melissa McCarthy and the rest, why don’t you read up on Shaneen Allen. You might rethink your stance on national concealed carry reciprocity.

See, what Everytown is not telling you in that little script is that opposing national reciprocity is denying good men and women — who, unlike you, can’t hire men with guns to defend them — their fundamental right to self-defense.

And as it relates to suppressors.  Do your research! Check out this report on whether suppressors would have made the shooting in Las Vegas more deadly.  The conclusion may surprise you. It was published by the fact-checkers at Politifact.  Not the NRA.

So are they all going to turn down roles in movies that feature guns?
Going to stop making movies with guns?
No more Bond? No more Batman? No westerns? No war movies?
They do lots of drugs…rape/molest/discriminate…but guns are the problem? LOL

Who in the HELL cares about what a bunch of fools that make a living playing make-believe have to say about anything? Much less what they have to say about the second amendment! Maybe we’ll get lucky one day and an earthquake will cause Hollywood to fall into the Pacific! Maybe the sharks will have lunch! If they can stand the taste.

Well known fact Bloomberg uses made-up facts and faux statistics to push his coalition’s manifesto. The bastard.

You can tell this is targeted towards Millennials because these Hollywood “stars” say that “this is a bit scary to make the call” as they are pretty much everything is “scary” and they are scared to do pretty much anything outside of their little comfort zone. Now what CAN be done is that we, the actual gun-owning public, text to that number so that the Everytown bozos (or whoever they are) will put us in direct contact with our representatives to voice our support for pro-gun legislation and to kill the anti-gun legislation. Works both ways, doesn’t it…

What did anyone expect from liberals and feminized men in the entertainment industry? A couple of month ago I cut the cord on my TV satellite service. I did this not only due to crappy programming, but also because I got tired of these liberal celebrities using the TV media to convey their political beliefs. Many of these celebrities live in restrictive states such as NY and CA so it’s difficult for them to legally own or carry a gun and they think you should face the same restrictions. I wonder how many of these celebrities could pass a background check to legally buy a gun because of past criminal history, drug use, or mental health issues. In addition if you have a TV cable or Satellite service you are paying these celebrities salary whether you watch the shows they appear in or not. As long as I could remember television programs were almost always with very few exceptions anti-gun.

I agree, I to have discontinued my satellite TV for the same reasons. I don’t want to enable these lying Hollywood hypocrites.

Same here, my wife and I ditched all sat and cable TV about a year ago.
Nothing there we want to see and the price was stupid. Goodbye Hollywood, you don’t have anything I need.

Can someone post a list of the idiots in the video. My blood pressure can’t handle watching it.

With the Harvey Weinstein scandal fresh in our minds, I find it hilarious that anyone in Hollywood would have the nerve to comment on anything. These people were complicit in decades of assaults on men and women, and now they want to tell the rest of us how to live our lives?

Stop purchasing or watching anything that lines all of these people’s pockets, who thinks their opinion is more important than yours or mine!!!! Watch their ratings and money go down and watch what happens.

Can we text that and say we support reciprocity? Use their own media against them.

“Put the safety of all Americans first”
Makes me laugh. The safety of the average American is NOT what those who push this line of so-called reasoning are about.
The safety of those who claim to represent us is what this is about. They’re afraid that when the average citizen in this country finds out just how badly they’ve sold this country down the river, it’s they who are going to be in danger.
