I purchased this 30 years ago. At the time it was represented to be a side arm issued to a P-61 pilot, a Mr. Natter. I was unable to verify this but the side arm is correctly serialized for a WW2 weapon as is the holster (Boyt 42), k-bar is a Marine issue, medals are real.
