Scarce Colt Government Model 9mm Steyr Semi-Auto Pistol serial #70S51185, 9mm Steyr, 5" barrel with a bright excellent bore. The metal surfaces of this Mark IV Series 70 pistol retain about 99% original blue showing some very minor operational wear and a small mark from disassembly. The distressed walnut grips with silver Colt medallions remain in very good plus condition, the right panel showing a few small flakes around the screw heads and the left is near excellent. One original magazine is included and the action seems to function well mechanically. An excellent example of these interesting and desirable pistols. There is no box or papers.
