The Springfield Armory XD Mod.3 OSP is a 9mm, optics-ready striker-fired pistol built around a forged steel, Melonite®-finished slide and a 4" hammer-forged Melonite® barrel. The slide is factory-milled for popular and the pistol ships with rugged steel sights featuring a fiber optic front and white dot rear.
The polymer frame has aggressive texturing, an undercut triggerguard and extended beavertail for a high hand purchase. Safety and status features include a passive grip safety, a tactile loaded chamber indicator and a striker-status indicator. The XD Mod.3 ships with a single 16-round stainless steel magazine and includes an accessory rail on the dustcover; advertised overall length is 7.3" and weight is 27 oz.
