Rare variant of the Portuguese 1886 model with only 4,000 Cavalry Carbines ever made. Bore is excellent. Many matching numbers including those on the receiver, stock, barrel, rear sight, front band, and bayonet lug, No import marks.
We have inspected this rifle and it functions correctly. Because this is an antique firearm it should be inspected by a qualified gunsmith prior to firing.
