Marlin Model 1897 .22lr take-down rifle. Made in 1902. Plain straight grip stock with Orig. floor plate. The case hardened color and blue have worn away to a mottled grey/silver finish. Includes an original fold down front sight showing white bead when down and round peep type with gold bead when up. The gun is in excellent, working condition. I have seen these rifles sell for more in worse condition than mine.
