Manufactured in 2004 by Abbiatico & Salvinelli.
This firearm was built for durability and strength but has seen almost no use. Gold inlaid script includes "Famars - Italy" on the left side of the barrels, "Africa Express, 470 NE" on the bottom of the receiver, "Famars" on the trigger guard and the engravers signature, "D. Bonsi" on the right side of the trigger plate. The case hardened steel action, trigger guard, tang, operation lever, grip cap and forean latching hardware have 50% coverage of foliate scroll engraving.
Exceptionally figured and beautifully marbled dark European walnut was selected for the pistol grip stock with a shadow line cheekpiece.  Wrap around, point pattern checkering with line borders covers the grip and the splinter forearm. 
The package includes a custom, mid-tan takedown case with contrasting gold stitching. The case has reinforced leather corners, combination lock and green lining with the maker's label on the lid. The case contains a fitted box with spare strikers and mainsprings along with proof certificates and operating manual. This gun was built for hard use and it is doubtful that it will be worn out in several lifetimes.
