The Maverick 88 All-Purpose Field Bantam (item 32203) is a compact 20 gauge pump-action field shotgun built with a 22 in vent-rib barrel and 3" chamber. It ships with an Accu-Choke™ modified choke tube and a front bead sight.
Designed for smaller-stature shooters, the Bantam features a shortened 12 in length-of-pull and a synthetic Mossy Oak Bottomland camo stock and forend with blued metalwork. The barrel is threaded to accept Accu-Choke tubes and the action uses dual extractors, twin action bars and a cross-bolt safety for reliable, low-maintenance operation.
The model is compatible with Mossberg 500 accessory stocks, barrels and choke tubes (within gauge and capacity) and weighs approximately 5.25 lbs, making it a lightweight option for field and youth hunting or general recreational shooting.
