The Ruger AR-556 MPR in .350 Legend is a factory-configured AR-pattern hunting rifle built around a cold hammer-forged 4140 chrome-moly 16.38in barrel with a radial-port muzzle brake and 1/2"-28 threading. It ships with a single 5-round metal AR-style magazine and Ruger’s two-stage Elite 452 AR trigger.
The rifle features a 15" free-float M-LOK aluminum handguard, a flat-top upper with full-length Picatinny rail, Magpul MOE grip and Magpul MOE SL collapsible stock for adjustable length of pull. Receivers are forged 7075-T6 aluminum and finished with a Type III hard-coat anodized finish.
Factory specifications list a 33.38in–36.63in overall length (stock extended/collapsed) and a listed weight of 6.6 lbs. The MPR variant uses a 1:16" twist and is offered specifically as a .350 Legend hunting-oriented AR configuration.
