The Beretta 1301 Tactical Mod.2 is a gas-operated semi-automatic tactical shotgun designed and marketed for law-enforcement and defensive use. It uses Beretta's B-Link/AGS short-stroke gas system for fast cycling and reduced maintenance. The Mod.2 features an updated, ergonomic synthetic forend with M-LOK attachment sections and a Picatinny optics rail on the receiver.
This LE/configuration model ships with a fixed synthetic stock, fixed (OCHP) choke, ghost-ring rear sight and a removable front blade/post. The standard magazine tube for this configuration provides a 7+1 capacity (seven in tube plus one in chamber). Controls include an oversized bolt release and a cross-bolt reversible safety.
Construction and furniture are synthetic with a black finish; overall length is approximately 37.8in with an 18.5in barrel and an unloaded weight around 6.7 lbs.
